  2. The new "Fill and Sign experience" being tested is a total fail. The Sign Yourself button is completely unresponsive and my saved signatures and initials are no longer available. The test has rendered Adobe Pro unusable for e-signing documents myself.

    We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Can you please provide us the following details :

    1. Does this issue happens with all PDF files or some specific PDF file. If possible can you please share a sample PDF with us.
    2. Details of your OS.
    3. Does Application goes to Not responding when you click on the Sign yourself button? You can follow the steps at : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html to generate the dump files.
    4. Are you not able to create a new signature/initial from the sign yourself drop down?
    5. It will be great if you can share a screenshot/video demonstrating the issue.

  3. Steps to reproduce:
    Opened Acrobat DC --- a popup about integration with Microsoft Office appeared.

    Environment: MacOS 10.11.6, Acrobat DC 2017.009.20044

    Expected result:
    I should be given immediate access to the Close button or the Continue button.

    Observed result:
    The popup hijacked the app, with a spinning beachball cursor, for several seconds - at least 10 seconds. This is not the only performance issue I've seen - I've reported others that still aren't fixed. It all ads up.

  4. when i create a copy of a pdf and rename it to something else - for example CVs - same CV, but rename the file as per the job. but when I open the renamed/new pdf. the name in the "tab" in pdf viewer still shows the original/old name, and it's extremely confusing, which file I'm looking at and working on. it's a bug in my opinion

  5. Currently Adobe Acrobat DC does not recognise if the default printer setting on my mac has been set to duplex. There is a work around. By pressing the printer button and selecting 'duplex' from the print dialogue box that is revealed, pdfs can be printed double sided (DC warns against doing this by the way). The trouble is that it is easy to forget to follow this process, particularly when I am in a hurry, with the result that pdfs, in my case often 20 or 30 pages documents, are printed single sided.   6. Don't force installation of McAfee or try to be sneaky with Adobe Reader.
    You guys are better than this. Don't associate yourself with this bloatware ****, otherwise soon Adobe may find their image tarnished as bloatware-related. At least for me, it's making me consider alternatives to PDF.

    Losing german äüö (Umlauts) and letters in the Structure Tree when using "Add Tags to Document" in Adobe Acrobat DC (previous operation Number ADB-3207012-T1M7) German Language Problem?

    Export a text document with german words that contain german umlauts (äöü), e.G.: "für, können, öfter, mögen" as a PDF without tags from InDesign or Word

  7. When taking a form and editing it or whatever you want and then you go to email it I shouldnt be forced to save the form before emailing it. Me personally I dont need a copy of the form, I just want to email it like you used to be able to do on the old version before the update.

  8. Hi, the top bar menu is gone. I can't find where to get it back. None of the help topics on the internet resolve the issue. I presume you've specifically disabled the ways to make your application usable. Your application is becoming unusable.

  9. I work in the legal industry and we often have large collections of documents where some contain OCR while others require OCR. It would be great if we could easily identify the documents that require OCR to speed up the batch processing of large collections. Additionally, with the availability of LLMs and image recognition, it would be great if you could utilize these to vastly improve the quality of the OCR output.

  10. Text in vector graphic images (.svg/.emf) files get displaced and in some cases overlap with other objects in the image during PowerPoint to PDF conversion with Adobe. This issue wasn't present when using Adobe PDF Library 20.9.95

  11. In older versions we could just add text to a document where needed. Now you have to go to Tools, Edit which then takes the time to recognizes all the text in a document. I frequently add text in all kinds of documents including charts and forms. When it goes to "recognize" the text on the full page, it distorts it to something unuseable. I end up having to open the document in Photoshop - if it will read it since usually it was scanned in first. If it won't, I have to do a screen shot, cut and paste…

  12. Is there a way to make this happen? I also tried exporting the pdf to Word and there was still no way to make the change happen automatically. I guess I should have exported the entire document to Word in the first place and done all my edits there. Now I have over 500 edits to insert by hand -- double the work.

  13. Acrobat DC (Creative Cloud)
    Version: 2019.008.20074
    Windows 7 64bit

    This has occurred since last update.

    1. Click on file icon to open.
    2. Acrobat crashes immediately.

    3. Open Acrobat first

    4. File opens as expected.

    5. Close a tab within Acrobat

    6. 'Home' screen shows a frozen image of closed file.

    7. Click on 'Tools' tab - works as expected

    8. Click on 'Home' tab - shows a frozen image of 'Tools' screen.

    9. Unable to view any recent files via the home screen.

    Repair / reinstall has not cured this glitch!

  14. Before the update, I used to be able to post and close my text-selection pop-up by clicking on an image in the document. Now I have to hit both "Post" and "X" to do this. As I post tens to hundreds of text-selection pop-ups in a given document, this has added unnecessary steps and tons of tedium to my task.

    Please either restore the default post-and-save-by-clicking-on-image (or another part of the document) feature, or please add a post-and-save hotkey, because this is inefficient.

  15. Hello,
    When I add some files with the PNG extension to a new PDF file which is being edited, image frame and its catch points are available but I can not move or re-size them. This issue was happening also Reader DC stamping tools. Could you please check it?

    1. Adobe PDF T1 font printing bug

    2. Print web pages from Chrome and Edge using the Adobe PDF printer (which does not appear to have been updated since the Obama administration - it still looks exactly as it has for the past ten years, and still only has 1b as a PDF/A option)

    4. Should produce a clean, "normal" PDF made of text.

    5. Produces PDFs containing only the T1 font, which are not searchable, and the text cannot be selected. (It selects in tall blue lines - see screenshot.) Copying and pasting the text yields only gibberish.

  16. Please create layout options for bulk uploading images into fixed width and height boxes for multiple images.

    We take a lot of pictures while working in the field we need to send them all at once and the file size is crazy big.

    we dont need the full size image just a thumbnail or medium with a corporate layout we do this multiple times a day. and creating the template everytime blows....

  17. I deal with multiple sheets of similar layout. I would like to zoom in on an area and go from sheet to sheet with the same area zoomed at the same scale. The version prior to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC allowed me to do that IF I was zoomed in anywhere that included the top margin of my image. But the new Adobe Acrobat Pro DC will only allow a similar zoom if I have zoomed into the TOP LEFT corner of an image. : ' ( : ' ( : ' (

    You can use Loupe tool for getting your desired result.
    Follow below mentioned steps to activate loupe tool.
    Go to view > zoom> Loupe tool.

  18. Fill and Sign Bug: Cannot add a signature image or initials to my document. Clicking the Sign button in Fill & Sign ribbon displays the current saved signature and the option to add new initials, but clicking these options does nothing.
