  2. marquee zoom is a critical tool that should be accessible from the quick access tools or pinned somewhere on a tool bar. in the new update on windows 11 this is not possible and marquee zoom can only be activated from the drilling down through the drop down menu each time you need to use it, which is constant for me. in general this release makes it very difficult to set up the interface for efficient use in different work flows. other tools like the print snapshot seem to just be gone. print snapshot is another very useful tool that…

  3. Whenever I move a mouse while in Read Mode, a floating navigation bar gets displayed near the bottom of the page obstructing the text. There is no way to get rid of it. Yes, clicking the last icon in that bar makes it disappear, but it also causes leaving the Read Mode and displaying huge useless side bars.

  4. We need easy access to multiple highlighting colors! There should multiple highlighters at the top of the page.... or the option to add multiple This truly a basic function and for a product, one has to pay for, there is no excuse!

    We understand you are encountering some trouble with the new feature in Request e-signatures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. With Modernized experience, you now get simplified document authoring experience, leverage AI-assisted form field detection and ability to revise, organize & save document edits in-progress, add/ remove recipients during agreement creation step. Here’s more information.

    If you still prefer to use the earlier version you can revert back by following these steps:
    1.    Click on your profile icon.
    2.    Select "Settings".
    3.    In "E-signing settings", uncheck the box next to "Use the latest version of Request e-signatures".

    This change will only affect new created after making this adjustment. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in resolving this issue. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  6. Please "UN" Update the Edit PDF feature, so you can add text without the whole document having to be Converted/Scanned. Put "Add Text" back to the way it was. On its own. Thanks

  7. Is it possible to pin All Tools so I don't have to keep opening it? So frustrating that the window closes! This new update requires so many clicks to do simple tasks, very irritating.

  8. I try to delete pages multiple ways and cannot:

    From the Organize Pages feature, I select the pages that I want to delete and I click the delete icon. Acrobat responds that "One or more pages are in use and could not be deleted." Sometimes when I receive that message and close the Organize Pages feature, I see that the pages were deleted. But not always.

    From the main document, if I click the Delete Pages icon and enter the page numbers to delete, I get the same error. When the Delete Pages icon work, the feature is still…

  9. It should be clear with the countless posts of users wanting the default to be the Hand Tool and others wanting the default to be the Selection Tool.

    In both cases, there has been countless work arounds and fixes to make it work one way or another. Since this latest update none of the fixes appear to be working now and it seems everyone is forced into having Selection as the default.

    Simple feature request - have a Preference setting to select your default tool - Hand/Pan or Arrow/Select.

  10. Bug Report. 10/14/18 Windows 10 update 1803 broke the ability to assign adobe as the default app for .tif files. I can assign any other offered app (paint, sketch, photo). I had to do a system restore to revert back to temporarily correct this issue.

  11. Mi idea is....take more care, and check properly before issuing an automatic update. Is a product that works too much to ask? It's like having a washing machine that receives an unwanted, unscheduled service that stops it working every time after the service engineer leaves. Adobe used to be so good in this respect....what happened??

Please, for the love of all that's good and right in the world, stop dramatically changing the GUI of your products that are already functional as is and making us relearn where all the tools we use are because you decided to rearrange the furniture. It's not fun. It's certainly not an improvement.   15. Other apps write very smoothly. Even the Apple Pencil on Acrobat on iPad isn't that bad, but the Surface pen on a desktop is so ugly that I can't share it with clients/customers. Please fix!

Quick tool icons are TOO BIG - In Adobe X I was able to fit ALL of my Quick Tools across the top, now you've apparently optimized the program for tablets and there is no way to make the Quick Tool icons small enough which creates TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY CLICKING. WHY do you assume that everyone needs these GIGANTIC icons? Why can't we reduce the size or the "padding" around them? It's beyond annoying.

  17. ISSUE

    • Acrobat DC on Win10 system does updates in the background without asking
    • requires system reboot afterwards / otherwise no access to PDF files anymore
    • the updates interrupt the whole working process and costs valuable time saving and closing all projects and rebooting the system in order to get Acrobat running again

    Will this be fixed in an upcoming upgrade / e.g. the announced 64-bit roll-out of Acrobat?

  18. Everything about the new update is worse than the previous version. I get terrible slowdown and "not responding" messages literally every time I use it, and the FIND function in particular has been ruined. It barely works, and constantly shifts itself out of the search bar. PLEASE REVERT THIS FUTURE TO THE WAY IT USED TO BE. Otherwise the software is almost unusuable.

  19. New layout for Adobe is horrible!
    Why did Adobe change something that wasn't broken?
    All of the icons/buttons used to be along the top ribbon of the screen and now there's some on the left, some on the right and some on the top. And now I can't even find some (for example insert text box and take a snapshot) that I use constantly.
    I had everything customized as I use Adobe constantly in my job and now this is causing me a lot of unnecessary stress.

  20. Whatever changes made up the most recent update has ruined my user experience. Every action I try to take encounters an error message. Please advise how I undo the most recent update to get back to some semblance of a useful tool.
