Quick tool icons are TOO BIG
Quick tool icons are TOO BIG - In Adobe X I was able to fit ALL of my Quick Tools across the top, now you've apparently optimized the program for tablets and there is no way to make the Quick Tool icons small enough which creates TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY CLICKING. WHY do you assume that everyone needs these GIGANTIC icons? Why can't we reduce the size or the "padding" around them? It's beyond annoying.

Default settings for Split function
Give the ability to set defaults in the Split function of Adobe DC. I always split by "Top Level Bookmarks" and Output using the Bookmark names for file names. Since I (and my team) do this for multiple files every day, having to reset those parameters every time you want to split a file is really unhelpful and a waste of time. Given that Adobe is a massive time saver, this would help even more.
I get that is how I do it, but not how everyone does it, so the ability to update just my defaults would be helpful.12 votes -
Organize Pages gets stuck in center of page
While using the Organize pages feature, the icon "Organize Pages" will get stuck in the middle of my screen. I will then have to have task manager kick out Acrobat and restart the application. See attachment:

pinning marquee zoom
marquee zoom is a critical tool that should be accessible from the quick access tools or pinned somewhere on a tool bar. in the new update on windows 11 this is not possible and marquee zoom can only be activated from the drilling down through the drop down menu each time you need to use it, which is constant for me. in general this release makes it very difficult to set up the interface for efficient use in different work flows. other tools like the print snapshot seem to just be gone. print snapshot is another very useful tool that…

What the devil did you do to Acrobat?! You've butchered the standard menu and replaced it with some childish set of random buttons instead.
Since the last update, I can't find the most useful tools because there's no longer a normal, standard "file, edit, ..." menu across the top... and I don't know if it's possible to get it back in a "Classic" form... if so, it shouldn't be hard to realize or see how to do it. You've made this an usable piece of ****. I'm spending more time looking for the tools I've used intuitively before, and getting my temper under control, than doing real work. GIVE ME BACK A STANDARD FORM MENU ON THE TOP, WITHOUT SEARCHING AND HUNTING FOR…

Big: Filter status not working as intended
When filtering comments by ‘completed’ and then actually selecting a comment as having become ‘completed’ it is not removed from the list of visible comments. You need to go to filters, turn it off and back on again to clear the ‘completed’ comments. Very frustrating. It’s worked as intended before this latest update.

search box obscured by quick tools box
the latest Adobe update rolled out a new UI look for the viewing screen. The Quick Tool box in the upper left corner lays over the search box and it makes it difficult to see what is being typed into the search field

display the page size is missing
This is a bug, not an idea: since the latest update (acrobat Pro 2023.006.20320) there is no possibility to permanent show the page sizes in the lower left corner of an opened PDF file, although the corresponding checkbox is enabled in the preferences.

Wanted: Acrobat DC updates WITHOUT system reboot
ISSUE
- Acrobat DC on Win10 system does updates in the background without asking
- requires system reboot afterwards / otherwise no access to PDF files anymore
- the updates interrupt the whole working process and costs valuable time saving and closing all projects and rebooting the system in order to get Acrobat running again
REQUEST TO ADOBE SUPPORT
Will this be fixed in an upcoming upgrade / e.g. the announced 64-bit roll-out of Acrobat? Thanks

For the Tags panel:
1. Option to create Lists <L> tags with a set number of List Items <LI> tags instead of one at a time. Time wasted creating one at time.
2. Option to created tables <Tables> tags with a set number of Rows <TR> tags instead of one at a time. Time wasted creating one at time.
3. Stop forcing all the Tags folders to all be opened when opening a PDF file! Not…25 votesHi,

No floating bars in Read Mode, please!!!
Whenever I move a mouse while in Read Mode, a floating navigation bar gets displayed near the bottom of the page obstructing the text. There is no way to get rid of it. Yes, clicking the last icon in that bar makes it disappear, but it also causes leaving the Read Mode and displaying huge useless side bars.

Why is there a problem every time there is an automatic update to Acrobat DC? I now can't print to pdf or save as.
Mi idea is....take more care, and check properly before issuing an automatic update. Is a product that works too much to ask? It's like having a washing machine that receives an unwanted, unscheduled service that stops it working every time after the service engineer leaves. Adobe used to be so good in this respect....what happened??

updates
there are too many new updates, its everyday and they take forever. while updates are happening, nothing can be edited. Either group the group the updates and do it once a month or every other week, or allow edited while the update happens in the background. this is truly frustrating and everytime I open adobe.

Feature request - Give the user the option to choose default tool to be Arrow/Selection or Hand/Pan
It should be clear with the countless posts of users wanting the default to be the Hand Tool and others wanting the default to be the Selection Tool.
In both cases, there has been countless work arounds and fixes to make it work one way or another. Since this latest update none of the fixes appear to be working now and it seems everyone is forced into having Selection as the default.
Simple feature request - have a Preference setting to select your default tool - Hand/Pan or Arrow/Select.

Stop messing with the GUI on your products
Please, for the love of all that's good and right in the world, stop dramatically changing the GUI of your products that are already functional as is and making us relearn where all the tools we use are because you decided to rearrange the furniture. It's not fun. It's certainly not an improvement. I have work to do, I don't have time to figure out, every time there's an "update" where you decided to hide everything I need to use to get through my day. Your latest Acrobat "improvements" meant that in the middle of an important, time-sensitive…
