Closing this for now until we have further info on the request.
    Can revisit later

  2. I often highlight and add text to PDFs. The current workflow is cumbersome, especially when I need to switch from one feature to other.

Given that it's a premium product, I find that there are just so many unnecessary toolbar options visible while the tools I need often require multiple clicks and cumbersome navigation.

I often find myself hiding all toolbars left, top and right. Worst part is app doesn't remember my settings so I have to hide these toolbars everytime.

Would be nice to have a student mode which provides a light mode version, allowing highlighting and adding/deleting text

  4. I have some fields which are numbers like Fed Tax ID. And the PDF which im adding underneath has single digit boxes. Which i can accomplish in 2 ways:
    1. Add 9 boxes correctly spaced so they populate the necessary single digit boxes.
    2. Add 1 text box which overlaps the corresponding boxes and looks ugly.

Ideally, i should be able to add spacing in between each number so it correctly matches the boxes in the pdf underneath

  5. Text becomes corrupted when combining PDF documents.
I've seen many reports here stating the same problem but have been closed.

My text in my documents became corrupted when I combined a 141pg PDF full of drawings.
I performed the same operation in Nitro 10 - no problems whatsoever!

  6. Changing text size / color used to work fine until a forced update to Acrobat DC today to 19.021.20048.
Now selecting a comment and changing text size or color seems to work the first time I try to use the feature after opening the document.
After that I either don't get the popup to change text size / color; or if the popup shows and I click on the color box (change color) no additional popup for color change comes up.
    Using Windows 7 laptop.

  9. When Replace Text is selected and a relevant portion of text is highlighted, a comment box doesn't automatically open up. If I choose this icon my aim is to replace the text, so why wouldn't a pop-up open automatically (or at least have an option to turn said feature on in settings/preferences)? Annoyingly, I need to right click and manually open the pop-up. Please fix or explain how I enable this feature.

  10. Please fix the huge circle issue in highlighting text. I just spent about 5 hours trying to fix it and no luck. I have also ready thousands of users are having the same issue. It worked perfectly until I started paying for pdf now it's not working. Please fix this!

  11. Hello - It seems like the sign and fill functionality requires an email address. A few people I need to send a document to do not have an email address and would like to know if there's an option to text them the document to sign.

    Thanks.

  12. This is an enhancement request for the Phone Field in Adobe Sign.

It would be very useful for the Phone field to have phone format options to pick from that would autofill the symbols into the field. This would take the responsibility off the signer.

It is also kind of ridiculous that just to have a basic version of this, which still requires the signer to put in the symbols manually, I have to learn how to code it through Regular Expressions. Many people don't have time to learn those just to have a well-formatted phone…

  13. (Using Acrobat DC on a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.6.3), Continuous Release 2023.001.20143)

I annotate PDF page proofs constantly. Just recently the Text Callout box started not updating in real time as it's being edited. The revised text appears after cmd-S Save, but doesn't appear while being edited. This happens when editing an existing Text Callout box, and also when adding to a new one that appears below (rather than above) the text being pointed at

  15. I am on Windows 10 64-bit, on a Dell XPS 15 9500 with a 4K screen.

Here is the link to the video where I compare text box resizing between Microsoft Word 365 and Acrobat DC Pro v22.002.20212
    https://felixwong.photos/s/iLLYsgeRZeZRMYN

On any other word processor app, resizing a text box is intuitive and fast. While on DC Pro, the cursor switches between "Move" and "Rotate" more often than land on "Resize". Some times I need to zoom in to 150% or 200% just to be able to nail the "resize" tool.
As you can see in the attached photo, my cursor…

  16. Adobe has just been updated on my computer.

Examples uploaded of what is happening now, and what I used to be able to do. I have hidden confidential information, apologies for this.

I used to be able to draw a text box to make it of a certain width before I started typing, and as I would type the text box would expand downwards as needed. Then if I needed to I could adjust the width afterwards as well.

I can no longer draw the text box to a certain width and despite having the little spots to…

  17. I want to be able to take a filled out and digitally signed (by somebody else) form and save it as an unfilled and unsigned version of itself.

Many times I have had to go searching over slow company intranet for a blank unsigned version of a form because the only ones I have locally are signed versions. I've even had to re-do letters from scratch because either I didn't save a blank version, or accidentally saved over the blank copy without thinking about it. I know that we can't clear a signature that is not our own, but would…

  18. The New Acrobat Pro experience has broken the Edit - Add Text feature.
In the old experience, if one clicked on the "Edit" icon then all existing objects such as text boxes would be shown and one could edit text inside them. If one clicked on the "Add Text" icon then those existing objects would no longer show their boxes nor be editable so one could position the cursor over such a box and add text which would create a new text box. This is the way it is supposed to be and lets one easily add Text to…

  19. After the Windows 1903 update, users reported an odd problem with Adobe. It looks like a few of them routinely use the comments feature in Adobe.

Open a PDF, click on Tools -> Comments -> Select the Draw Free Form pen. Whenever they draw anything with the free form pen the monitor they are using blinks off and on.

  20. The attached generated PDF files contain text which is 36pt in size.

When inspecting the text using Edit Text in 'original.pdf' the size is incorrectly shown as 48.

If the element is copied and pasted as in 'copied.pdf' the new element shows correctly as 36 and the original as 48.

Running a preflight check reports all text as 36.
