[Bug] Text Box Resizing on 4K Screens
I am on Windows 10 64-bit, on a Dell XPS 15 9500 with a 4K screen.
Here is the link to the video where I compare text box resizing between Microsoft Word 365 and Acrobat DC Pro v22.002.20212
https://felixwong.photos/s/iLLYsgeRZeZRMYNOn any other word processor app, resizing a text box is intuitive and fast. While on DC Pro, the cursor switches between "Move" and "Rotate" more often than land on "Resize". Some times I need to zoom in to 150% or 200% just to be able to nail the "resize" tool.
As you can see in the attached photo, my cursor…2 votes -
recognize text in selected thumbnails
Recognize text in selected pages/thumbnails
I want to open the thumbnail view, select the pages that need OCR, and then have the ability to right click and select an option like "Recognize text in selected pages."
I work with a lot of files that have scanned images scattered among hundreds or thousands of pages that don't require text recognition; I want to select only the pages that require text recognition and apply OCR to those pages without having to keep updating the OCR page rage. If we can select and print non-consecutive pages, we should be able to do the…

Insert ability to remove all OCRing / hidden text behind visible text in document
I sometimes receive files that have printed text that appears correctly but for which the underlying OCRing (or text derived from Word or another word processor) has become corrupt or is otherwise garbled and bears no relation to the visible printed text. An example is attached. It would be very helpful if there were a feature that allowed you to remove all existing OCRed text (or the underlying hidden text produced from the word processor) and run Acrobat's OCRing again from scratch.
It's possible to print an image only PDF and then OCR this, but that is cumbersome, loses…

BUG Text callout box not updating while edited, this just started recently
(Using Acrobat DC on a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.6.3), Continuous Release 2023.001.20143)
I annotate PDF page proofs constantly. Just recently the Text Callout box started not updating in real time as it's being edited. The revised text appears after cmd-S Save, but doesn't appear while being edited. This happens when editing an existing Text Callout box, and also when adding to a new one that appears below (rather than above) the text being pointed at

Select all fields on a form and edit properties for the entire document, not just a page at a time.
There should be an option to select all fields on a form and edit the properties such as font color. Currently, you can only do this a page at a time. It would be such a time saver to be able to edit all of the fields on a form as a preference etc.

Unable to define width of new text box using "add text" feature in edit.
Adobe has just been updated on my computer.
Examples uploaded of what is happening now, and what I used to be able to do. I have hidden confidential information, apologies for this.
I used to be able to draw a text box to make it of a certain width before I started typing, and as I would type the text box would expand downwards as needed. Then if I needed to I could adjust the width afterwards as well.
I can no longer draw the text box to a certain width and despite having the little spots to…

Reader DC crashes on drop-down list in a form pdf
When I try to fill this form: http://www.ru.emb-japan.go.jp/VISANDTOURISM/Visa/template/application.pdf -- which is a Visa application form at Japanese embassy in Moscow, Adobe reader DC crashes when I scroll down a Country/Region drop-down list.
I remember that this form have never had such problems in previous years (with earlier version of Acrobat Reader).
I have attached various information that may be useful.

Batch superscript or subscript within a field
Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.
This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.

Alt text as searchable content in PDFs
Would love for alt text to be part of the searchable text in Acrobat's "Find" function—whether that's alt text that's been added in Acrobat as a tag or has been set up prior in another program (like INDD).
1 voteHi,
Thanks for connecting with us. We have taken you suggestion and we have kept it in our radar. Currently we do not plan to implement it in near future but you may see it coming in future releases. Thanks

The View - New Acrobat experience breaks Edit - Add Text
The New Acrobat Pro experience has broken the Edit - Add Text feature.
In the old experience, if one clicked on the "Edit" icon then all existing objects such as text boxes would be shown and one could edit text inside them. If one clicked on the "Add Text" icon then those existing objects would no longer show their boxes nor be editable so one could position the cursor over such a box and add text which would create a new text box. This is the way it is supposed to be and lets one easily add Text to…1 vote -

COMMENTS: Changing text size & color works once then doesn't popup.
Changing text size / color used to work fine until a forced update to Acrobat DC today to 19.021.20048.
Now selecting a comment and changing text size or color seems to work the first time I try to use the feature after opening the document.
After that I either don't get the popup to change text size / color; or if the popup shows and I click on the color box (change color) no additional popup for color change comes up.

Incorrect Rendering of Outlined Text
When opening a PDF exported from Adobe Illustrator in Acrobat Pro, text that has been converted to outlines (curves) is displayed incorrectly. The issue affects the visual appearance of the outlined text, which appears thicker or distorted compared to the intended design. This problem is visible only in Acrobat Pro and does not occur in Illustrator or some other PDF viewers.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a document in Adobe Illustrator with text elements.
Convert all text to outlines (Object > Expand or Create Outlines).
Export the file to PDF using standard export settings.
Open the resulting PDF in Acrobat…
