  1. I pay for the Adobe CC. I love all the apps but Acrobat, which is now unusable. Not because I can't figure out the interface, but because the program is so buggy as to
be essentially unusable. Just trying to type text in a text box causes everything to go haywire and suddenly part of the text I've been typing at the bottom of the document appears all over in random places on the other pages of the document. Sometimes as I'm typing it stops working altogether and I can no longer access the text box. It will even crash…

  2. This is an enhancement request for the Phone Field in Adobe Sign.

It would be very useful for the Phone field to have phone format options to pick from that would autofill the symbols into the field. This would take the responsibility off the signer.

It is also kind of ridiculous that just to have a basic version of this, which still requires the signer to put in the symbols manually, I have to learn how to code it through Regular Expressions. Many people don't have time to learn those just to have a well-formatted phone…

    1. Add a legend text box on a static page (the red boxes you find in the comment section)
    2. Try to resize the text box
    3. You'll find that the icons are not accurate : they change very quickly from "resize cursor" to "move cursor" to the little arrow, and it is very difficult to resize or even move the box.

    Environment : Mac OS 10.11.6 Acrobat 11.0.22

  5. I am on Windows 10 64-bit, on a Dell XPS 15 9500 with a 4K screen.

Here is the link to the video where I compare text box resizing between Microsoft Word 365 and Acrobat DC Pro v22.002.20212
    https://felixwong.photos/s/iLLYsgeRZeZRMYN

On any other word processor app, resizing a text box is intuitive and fast. While on DC Pro, the cursor switches between "Move" and "Rotate" more often than land on "Resize". Some times I need to zoom in to 150% or 200% just to be able to nail the "resize" tool.
As you can see in the attached photo, my cursor…

  6. When creating a Binder that includes the same underlying PDF/pages multiple times, it would be great to be able to turn off the feature that puts the same text into the same fields in each PDF. For example, if someone using my Binder has 3 children named John, Jane and Robert, I'd like the ability to say whether when they fill in John on the first page/pdf, it appears in the 2nd and 3rd pages/pdfs or not, without having to create different underlying PDFs with different field names. Thanks for considering this update!

  8. I have some fields which are numbers like Fed Tax ID. And the PDF which im adding underneath has single digit boxes. Which i can accomplish in 2 ways:
    1. Add 9 boxes correctly spaced so they populate the necessary single digit boxes.
    2. Add 1 text box which overlaps the corresponding boxes and looks ugly.

Ideally, i should be able to add spacing in between each number so it correctly matches the boxes in the pdf underneath

  9. When viewing a 3D pdf with Acrobat Pro on a Mac, the image shrinks to the bottom left quarter of the viewing space after activating it. This used to work and may be related to an Acrobat or MacOS update

  11. Hello - It seems like the sign and fill functionality requires an email address. A few people I need to send a document to do not have an email address and would like to know if there's an option to text them the document to sign.

    Thanks.

  12. There should be an option to select all fields on a form and edit the properties such as font color. Currently, you can only do this a page at a time. It would be such a time saver to be able to edit all of the fields on a form as a preference etc.

    Hello,

I think you are searching for the AddText functionality.
You can find it at :
Open EditApp → You will find AddText option in top toolbar.

Please let us know if it serves your purpose.

  14. The ability to join paragraphs in a PDF so, when editing, text reflows in the document, such as in Word:

And, similarly, the ability to link separate text boxes, so that text reflows between the chosen boxes:

  15. I often highlight and add text to PDFs. The current workflow is cumbersome, especially when I need to switch from one feature to other.

Given that it's a premium product, I find that there are just so many unnecessary toolbar options visible while the tools I need often require multiple clicks and cumbersome navigation.

I often find myself hiding all toolbars left, top and right. Worst part is app doesn't remember my settings so I have to hide these toolbars everytime.

Would be nice to have a student mode which provides a light mode version, allowing highlighting and adding/deleting text

  19. Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.

This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.
