Adobe Acrobat Pro (Ver 2022.001.20169) keeps giving me an error message saying that I have to select pages when I have already done so.
This error has happened before but then goes away after an Adobe update. I am using macOS ver 12.5. I have been using Adobe Acrobat for over 30 years,

Editing
All the editing tools are grayed out and not accessible. This is the default no matter what type of pdf I pull up. Even ones that I made using adobe. Why is this and what is the solution?

share
In the/my newest update of Acrobat Reader, the button to send the pdf as attached to email has now become a "Share button" and now requires an extra click in order to send the pdf attached to an email. As far as I can see, there's no way to enable Reader to do this by default. In my opinion this is a downgrade, as I /only/ send attached pdf, never share links.
Could you either reverse the change or make it possible to make my choice as default option.1 vote -

Advanced Print Options Do Not Save Correctly in Custom Profiles
In Acrobat XI Pro and Acrobat DC, when using the Advanced settings in Print, items such as Screening do not actually persist with saved custom profiles. If you select settings and save it under a new profile, switch to another and then view the profile where you had the desired settings, the settings will be found to never have saved in the first place.
Additionally there is no way to save these custom profiles as a default.

Date and Time Stamp on Comments
When using comments it would be great to be able to turn off and on the date and time stamp feature instead of the unchangeable default of the date and time stamp always being on.

Comments Quicker Edit of Fill Border, with No Fill, No Border Options
When drawing Rectangles, Circles, Clouds etc in Acrobat pro, the method of specifying Borders and Fill are incredibly tedious and slow to edit. Acrobat has one change colour dot to bring up the colour pallet for Fill / Border, and those colour pallets then have NO option for ( no fill ) or ( no border ). You have to go into the cog to get properties which brings up another pallete, which also has NO option for ( No Fill ) ( No Border ), so you then pick the colour picker which takes you to another window, where…

Allow keyboard to dismiss pop-ups
Please allow users to hit the escape key to dismiss pop-ups (such as asking to try the new Acrobat experience), rather than forcing use of the mouse. Even better would be not to pop the messages up altogether. Even Microsoft Office products allow the escape key to dismiss its annoying pop-ups.

Acrobat Pro crashes, starts and closes after some openings of files
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC open a few files and if you close them and later export and open a new .pdf from any program, including Indesign or Illustrator, the program starts and than closes immediately. There no show of error message. After this, the Acrobat will not open any file until you restart the computer (mac or pc).
All steps on forums was tryed, with no effect, including this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html
Already try open the task manager and stop services to them open Acrobat again. No effect. Sometimes, open a error message, that was send a million times.

Accessibility settings are difficult to find
Why default to yellow text on white background? It's impossible to read. Personally, some DARK themes would be desirable, i.e. yellow text on black background. Is a SIMPLE link to change SETTINGS in this regard?

Browse for Folder Dialogue in Acrobat Needs Update
When extracting multiple pages as files, Acrobat presents an old and cumbersome dialogue to select the folder in which to save the extracted files. This dialogue is difficult to navigate through. Why not simply use the standard Windows File Explorer? In addition to being hard to find one's way around, the dialogue always defaults to the top level of the directory, whereas the File Explorer defaults either to the last location used or the location of the source file, and normally, I can choose between these default options. Finally, this dialog provides no opportunity to name the extracted…

Ruler tool
Can you please add a ruler tool. One which you could click on and it would go across the screen. If you could have it utilize the up and down keys to control it's movement, that would be great. Our firm receives a lot of lists in adobe pdf. form and it would help us keep track of where we are as we go through the pdf list.
Thank you.

There is a bug where the white background in any PDF file is shown as light blue in MacOS Sanoma 14.2.1. The application is updated to its latest version, the details of which can be seen in the following:

An alert message "billing problem" is shown on the main menu. When you click on it, a new window opens asking you to renew your credit card credentials, when mine is active until 2024. Fortunately, the script fails and when you cancel it an error 12000 message is shown.
