  1. Having to move it and manually close it every time Acrobat is activated is a productivity killer. Until it's fixed, I have to set another pdf reader as default. I think the prior version did not have this problem.

  2. I'm getting errors when reading PDFs. All different sizes, all different sources.

"There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (109)."

"A number is out of range."

"There was an error while reading a stream."

"Please wait while the document is being prepared for reading."

    "Out of memory."

It's a brand new Windows 10 machine with 8GB of RAM. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. How do I fix this issue? The program is essentially unusable at this point.

  3. Changing the default behavior of the "F2" is the possibly the most annoying feature Adobe has ever released. I'm not being hyperbolic, there was no reason to remap F2 to the help center when F1 already worked in that way.

Additionally adding second key to the keyboard command to rename reduces the functionality of this program. When I'm editing a PDF, I am constantly editing text making me click "Ctrl+F2" is more effort and goes against common convention.

  4. When drawing Rectangles, Circles, Clouds etc in Acrobat pro, the method of specifying Borders and Fill are incredibly tedious and slow to edit. Acrobat has one change colour dot to bring up the colour pallet for Fill / Border, and those colour pallets then have NO option for ( no fill ) or ( no border ). You have to go into the cog to get properties which brings up another pallete, which also has NO option for ( No Fill ) ( No Border ), so you then pick the colour picker which takes you to another window, where…

  6. There seems to be a bug where a tab will close that the user has not told Adobe to close. This occurs when a user has one tab open (tab 1), then 2 further tabs are opened, so a total of 3 are now open. By default, the third of these tabs will be the one displayed as this was the last file opened, which is fine. However, if you then click the 'x' on tab 1, without first viewing the other newly opened tab (tab 2), both tab 1 and tab 2 will close.
    Please let me know…

  7. I purchased the Adobe PDF Pack in August 2018 but now, each time I try to convert a file, I get a message saying that my trial has expired and I must buy to continue. Please tell me how to fix this or return the money I paid. Thank you.

  9. When exporting PDFs from INDesign it defaults back to a old name even though you have re-named it several times during several exports. It should be naming it the exact same name as the INDesign file.

  10. Clicking on any links in any PDF causes Adobe Acrobat Reader to hang and crash

    1. Open any PDF document that contains a hyperlink in Adobe Acrobat Reader
    2. Windows 11 (Continuous Release I Version 2023.006.20320 I 64-bit)
    3. I expected to open the link in my default browser in Windows 11
    4. The application hangs (spinning mouse cursor) and becomes unresponsive. After 10 seconds of this, I have to close Adobe Reader and try again. But it does that again. Unable to open any link whatsoever. I just copy the link by highlighting it in the PDF and paste in the browser. Much…

  11. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC open a few files and if you close them and later export and open a new .pdf from any program, including Indesign or Illustrator, the program starts and than closes immediately. There no show of error message. After this, the Acrobat will not open any file until you restart the computer (mac or pc).

All steps on forums was tryed, with no effect, including this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html

Already try open the task manager and stop services to them open Acrobat again. No effect. Sometimes, open a error message, that was send a million times.

  12. An alert message "billing problem" is shown on the main menu. When you click on it, a new window opens asking you to renew your credit card credentials, when mine is active until 2024. Fortunately, the script fails and when you cancel it an error 12000 message is shown.

  13. Split to Top-Level Bookmark is not working in Acrobat DC. To "solve" the problem, the user has to uninstall Acrobat DC, then re-install. Now the process works, but only once. The user then has to repeat the uninstall / re-install process to use the feature again. Else, the user gets the error message "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder." This feature MUST work without the user having to uninstall / reinstall Acrobat DC.

  14. Hello,
Concerning the floating black tool bar that shows up when text is selected, it currently has only 5 functions (Highlight, Underline, Strike through, Copy & Edit text-images).
    My requests:
    1. Kindly make it customizable, so that users can add whatever buttons they like.
    2. Especially, make it such that users can add anything from 3-5 highlighters of different colors, so that I will not have to go through the tedious task of changing the color of the highlighter each time I want it changed.
    3. Kindly allow the "Add note to text" icon there either by default or as…

  16. The Combine files page has three clickable buttons and they are all dead. Nothing happens. Serious bug.
Update: I installed macOS 14.2.1 and that freed up the buttons. But a second problem now: attempting to save a PDF of a scan results in the error message in the screenshot:

  17. In Windows 11, the side toolbar placement is right on top of the document being viewed, obscuring the content (screenshot attached). There is no option to drag and drop it somewhere else. This was not an issue in Windows 10.

Moreover, the toolbars allow for customization, but there is no option to set those customizations as the default, so every time the app gets launched for a new sessions, I have to reset my desired customizations again. This wasn't an issue in Windows 10.

  19. Submitting a bug at ghostscript's request

    https://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=707678#c3

The pdf in attachment (page5_gs) fails to open in Acrobat DC.

However, upon opening the pdf with Adobe Acrobat, I encountered an error message indicating that the document has an issue, and a significant portion of the page's content is missing. Interestingly, page 5 functions perfectly when I open source_document.pdf with Adobe Acrobat.

It's important to note that this issue only occurs with Adobe software; page5.pdf opens correctly with Chrome-based browsers and Mozilla Firefox.
