FEATURE REQUEST: Hide Text Field Fill Color When Printing a Completed Form
During a support call this evening with one of your Senior Technical Representatives, I asked if a Fillable Form could be printed without the Fill Color appearing when users print their completed text-entry forms. She indicated that this option does not currently exist, but she thought it could be a great feature request to inquire about. She strongly suggested that I send this request along for consideration. I've attached a few screenshots of a Fillable Form that I've created to help you visually see what I'm referring to. Thank you so much for taking the time to review…

Issue with text field border color
I'm trying to remove the border around a text field. There doesn't seem to be an option to choose no color.

I need to create a form in Acrobat that have expandable tables, so the user can add rows as needed and that has text fields that expands as the user fills in the text (not just the scrollbar at the end of the text field as that cannot be printed)

Option to toggle Form Field Highlight on/off at document level
Please provide an option to disable the blue form field highlighting for a particular pdf form, rather than expecting all users to change this in their preferences. It is frustrating to design a form (in either InDesign or Acrobat Pro DC), then preview the form and discover blue highlighting everywhere. Changing the preferences only changes it for one user not all users who open the file. For a plain B&W form, the blue highlighting may look fine but for a more custom form, it often ruins the design - this is very limiting, please give the form…

inserted fields using prepare field -> add a text field are upside down
I am using Prepare Form to insert fields so I can fill out a form.
For some reason all of my fields display text upside down when I type in them using "fill and sign".
I can go back to "Prepare Form" and change the property of "Orientation" from 180 to 0. However, I never set any of the fields to 180. This is a bug. Also, I can not select multiple fields and set them all to 0 degree orientation at once. This is a very poor user experience. I would use different…

Form fields deleted / removed when sending document to sign.
When sending a document for signatures, all form fields are deleted and replaced with blank fields.
An error pops up in the bottom right saying that all unsupported fields have been removed, and it sounds like that includes all form fields previously created with the "old" interface.

Acrobat Standard DC Crashes After Form Field Auto Detection
BUG:
After using form field auto detection, the program crashes to desktop (without any errors) as soon as any field is clicked on or when attempting to add a new field. Leaving the Prepare Form tool works as intended; the crash only happens when attempting to work further with the tool. Leaving and reentering the tool still causes crashes.WORKAROUND:
The only way I've found to prevent this is to use the "Export Data" tool (the .fdf export one). Once the data is exported, things seem to work fine, without even requiring a re-import or anything like that.1 vote -
Prepare Form Bug
When creating a pdf using the Prepare Form function, text boxes that are created separately and have separate fillable fields associated with them are automatically grouped together after saving and then reopening the pdf. This creates a problem when trying to format the document. I need to be able to move each text line/box separately to format, but when the text lines/boxes get automatically grouped together, I lose the ability to format each individual text line/box. I have tried to re-separate the individual text lines into separate text boxes, but when I save the pdf and…

Form Fields
Acrobat take so long to delete form fields when multiple fields are selected. It depends on how many form fields are selected across opened Documents. In other words, if you have an opened document with 2 or 3 form fields selected while you are deleting form fields on a different one (another one), it will take 5 to 10 seconds to delete desired form fields (as invoked and desired by user to delete form fields on a document). On a different scenario if an open Document has 40 Form Fields selected while…

CENTER TEXT IN TEXT BOX
I want to center only selected text within a text box.
For example, I want most of the text to be, say, left justified and then have just a word at the bottom (in this case the word "GLOBAL") be centered.
I could do that in Pro XI. Now that I have Pro DC, if I select part of the text and click on "center," ALL the text centers, not just the text I've selected.

Bug: Leading space in auto-generated form field name blocks script manipulation
In "Prepare Form" form fields are sometimes auto-generated with names that contain leading space e.g. " _2b". These fields looks innocent in user interaction. But when one want to manipulate them in javascript, they are listed out in getNthFieldName() yet invisible in getField(), thus blocking the automation.
Solution 1: allow leading/trailing space in getField()
Solution 2: trim field names in form field auto-generationImplement both would be best.

Clear Form
The option to clear all the fields on a form has been removed. I have a form that I re-use for various jobs, and now I must manually clear all of the fields in the form in order to fill it out afresh. The deletion of this feature irritates me mightily.
18 votesHi,
We would like to know, how were you using “clear all fields” option? Was it a button or a menu item?
Reader cannot “Edit/Modify” PDF and hence “Reset Form” is not available in Reader. As long as you didn’t save the form (as you mentioned), you can use the following command in Acrobat Reader: File > Revert.
“Clear Form/Reset Form” can only be added via Acrobat. You can ask the author of the form to add a button using Form Fields Properties > Actions > Reset Forms.
And, if you are the author, you can clear it from Tools > Prepare Forms > More Options > Clear Form.I hope this resolves your issue. If not, please share details for more information.

Select “Multi-line” and “Scroll Long Text” in “Options” tab of the Properties dialog box for your text field. Also, ensure to widen the width (manually) to allow user to view the content as they type
And, I have forwarded your request of “Wrap the Text” to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization.
We will contact you if we need some more information on this.

Bug: In Text Field (Forms), Embedded OpenType Font not renderend correctly or replaced by system font
I have a PDF file with a Text Field whose content should be rendered using an embedded OpenType font.
Consider the attached example PDF.
Acrobat DC uses a replacement font for rendering the text field content.
In Foxit PDF viewer, the text is rendered correctly, using the same font as in the string above the text field.
