Bug: When I go to edit PDF and add web links to a full paged image, the image tilts.
Bug: When I go to edit PDF and add web links to a full paged image, the image tilts and causes a white line to appear in the bottom right of the page where the image is no longer covering due to the tilt. Also the entire image will look crooked at this point too. I have to go to Edit > Undo to make it go back. This is weird and very annoying and happens every time I use Edit.
2 votesHi,
Could you try the steps mentioned at https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/edit-scanned-pdfs.html#enabledisableautoocr to disable automatic OCR and see if it works? -
Copy-paste for ligatures
When selecting and copying passages of text from a PDF, commonly ligatures (e.g. special characters that represent a group of two characteris such as "fl"), are copied as special characters.
Upon pasting into Word or other software these special characters are often not recognized.
It would make much sense to have "smart" copy-and-paste that automatically converts ligatures into the respective single characters.

Unable to move image - constantly have to close app and reopen as things randomly stop working. Very disappointing considering I pay for the privilege.

What happened to "save a copy?"
Save a copy was always an option for our form files so that we could edit/add extra type. Now when I try to do that, I still get the error message telling me to go to "file" and "save a copy," however "file" is now "menu" and there is no "save a copy." Glad I still have a typewriter in my office! Please fix this ASAP - your last update was a downgrade. :(

Option to receive copy of final signed document
Add option of "Receive copy of final document?" for each signer, in case particular signer(s) do not need/want a copy or notification that the document was signed by all parties later in the signature chain.

Partial OCR is dumped from cropped image after re-running OCR on the remaining image
In order to run OCR for wider images, some users suggested a workaround to crop the image, run OCR for the first half, then restore the image to the original size, crop again the second half, then run OCR again and finally restore the image to its orignal size.
There are two bugs with this approach:
1) It is only possible to restore the image to its original size when using the option "Searchable Image (Exact)".
2) After re-running the OCR for the second half of the file, the OCR for the first half is dumped. This is…

Enhance Camera Image Fails in new UX
After the latest update I am unable to use the Enhance Camera Image option when performing OCR. I am given the handles to select the border area of the document, but the popup window with the "Enhance" button does not appear, leaving me unable to continue.

Please restore ability to copy and paste comment shapes (arrow, line, rectangle, oval) from one PDF to another
Since updating to Acrobat Pro DC (version 2017.012.20098), I cannot individually copy arrow, line, rectangle, or oval shapes (with or without accompanying comments) from one PDF and paste them into another PDF. As an editor, I use these tools all day to mark corrections and I regularly have the need to carry over unaddressed/outstanding edits to the next version of the project. Without the ability to simply copy and paste, I have to redo a lot of work—losing efficiency and opening up room for error. Please restore this fundamental function!

mirror a scanned image
Haven't been able to find a method to mirror a scanned pdf image. Your older software worked relatively easily, but not Adobe Acrobat Pro DC!

Delete image across multiple pages
I recently had a file with 1000 pages that had an image based watermark applied in a different PDF editor. I was able to remove it using a fixup through preflight that removed all images of that specific size. However, since the functionality exists already in Acrobat, there should be an option in the right click menu to delete image across pages. Such an option could automate deletion across multiple pages based on image size (like I did with preflight) or even image position, which is a data point that is available through the preflight analysis. That would make…

can't copy links
With this new version of Acrobat (v2023.006.20360 | 64-bit), I no longer be able to copy, in edit mode, all links from a .pdf document to another .pdf document.
How can I copy all the links to another document without doing it one by one?1 vote -
In Acrobat Pro, recognizing text would result in a continuous flow of editable text, which I could continuously select and copy all at once
Take away the boxes around text so can copy entire portions of text.

Import Image for Initials
The same options for creating a personalized signature should be made available for creating personalized initials. Specifically, I'd like to be able to import an image file of my initials. Currently, the only options are to type your initials or use the cursor to digitize them. Neither sufficiently replicates the look of real, handwritten initials.

Batch PDF printing as image
523/5000
Dear Adobe team.
I wish I could print a batch of PDFs to PDFs as an image. Print> Advanced> Select 'Print as image'. If you had the option of including multiple PDFs in that functionality, it would save you a lot of work. I have hundreds of PDFs in which I inserted a watermark, and I need to send it to my client, but I don't want to take the risk of having the watermark removed. Then the solution would convert and generate a new PDF with the printed pages as an image, merging the content…1 vote -
Insufficient data for an image
When a PDF with a specific image is opened, an "Insufficient data for an image" error is raised. Please see the attached PDF. I use the Continuous Release, Version 2025.001.20475, 64-bit.
The reason is probably the deflate compression. I also attached a version of this PDF with a lower compression rate, which works fine. All attached PDFs contain the same PNG-image, which is also attached. Please note, all PDFs open fine in Firefox or Chrome.1 vote -
Add an image to Multiple Document
When editing a document to add an image/logo you have to do this individually at the moment one at a time. It would be good to be able to do this as a batch of files that are the same document but need a different image/logo.

Adobe PDF Pack Image export Quality
The Export PDF via Adobe Clouds PDF Pack uses a slider to select the Image quality when converting an Image to PNG, JPG, or TIFF. However, regardless of the setting, it outputs a low quality 792X1024 image. Whereas, Adobe Acrobat Pro can output 5100X6600 PNGs.
If due to subscription, the PDF pack is not able to output different quality Images, there should not be a setting for quality and it should be noted in the subscriptions comparison table.
