  1. It used to be a free feature to insert a signature image. I understand the E-signature being a premium service. But I have to pay to insert my own image to a document. If this feature can't come back, I have no reason to use Adobe. I can not use that feature and not have to have an extra program on my computer. Especially, if I am going to have to use something else for that feature anyway.

  2. As a publisher, one of the key features we rely on is the Combine image Files generated from large scans. Unfortunately since more than a year now Adobe rotates some of the image files incorrectly during the Combine process, some by 180 and others by 90 degrees. If we apply the same files again separately we can get completely different results, so very random and unreliable. We DO NOT WANT Adobe to do any "smart" rotation of the image files, or at least we would like to control it.

  3. There are MANY documents that Reader fails to impose Dark Mode settings; my most recent example is: (2022) Praxeology volume 1: Frame, on self-actualization for the modern man by Rian Stone. Closely related is how to handle pictures, charts, ... in Dark Mode. The solution will require forethought - sometimes (e.g., graphs), inverting the color palette will work just fine, but pictures would turn into photo negatives, so they shouldn't invert. I doubt one-size fits all dark mode can cover both use cases. You can easily recognize pictures given their wide color palette and smooth transitions vs charts & graphs…

  4. After the latest update I am unable to use the Enhance Camera Image option when performing OCR. I am given the handles to select the border area of the document, but the popup window with the "Enhance" button does not appear, leaving me unable to continue.

  5. We are using adobe forms, have many form fields.

When you copy multipe fields using copy and past from one page to the other one, in many case form fields totally get out of place. The is a bug in our oppinion and make the tool total unusable for us, because we have lot of work creating new forms based on old ones.
somehow the bug is related to the fact, if there are fields on the target page.
of course we are using the latest adobe version on the lastet apple operation system.

  6. In order to run OCR for wider images, some users suggested a workaround to crop the image, run OCR for the first half, then restore the image to the original size, crop again the second half, then run OCR again and finally restore the image to its orignal size.

There are two bugs with this approach:
    1) It is only possible to restore the image to its original size when using the option "Searchable Image (Exact)".
    2) After re-running the OCR for the second half of the file, the OCR for the first half is dumped.

    This is…

  7. With this new version of Acrobat (v2023.006.20360 | 64-bit), I no longer be able to copy, in edit mode, all links from a .pdf document to another .pdf document.
How can I copy all the links to another document without doing it one by one?

  8. Since updating to Acrobat Pro DC (version 2017.012.20098), I cannot individually copy arrow, line, rectangle, or oval shapes (with or without accompanying comments) from one PDF and paste them into another PDF. As an editor, I use these tools all day to mark corrections and I regularly have the need to carry over unaddressed/outstanding edits to the next version of the project. Without the ability to simply copy and paste, I have to redo a lot of work—losing efficiency and opening up room for error. Please restore this fundamental function!

  9. Unable to move image - constantly have to close app and reopen as things randomly stop working. Very disappointing considering I pay for the privilege.

  11. When selecting and copying passages of text from a PDF, commonly ligatures (e.g. special characters that represent a group of two characteris such as "fl"), are copied as special characters.

Upon pasting into Word or other software these special characters are often not recognized.

It would make much sense to have "smart" copy-and-paste that automatically converts ligatures into the respective single characters.

  14. Add option of "Receive copy of final document?" for each signer, in case particular signer(s) do not need/want a copy or notification that the document was signed by all parties later in the signature chain.

  16. When a PDF with a specific image is opened, an "Insufficient data for an image" error is raised. Please see the attached PDF. I use the Continuous Release, Version 2025.001.20475, 64-bit.
The reason is probably the deflate compression. I also attached a version of this PDF with a lower compression rate, which works fine. All attached PDFs contain the same PNG-image, which is also attached. Please note, all PDFs open fine in Firefox or Chrome.

  17. I recently had a file with 1000 pages that had an image based watermark applied in a different PDF editor. I was able to remove it using a fixup through preflight that removed all images of that specific size. However, since the functionality exists already in Acrobat, there should be an option in the right click menu to delete image across pages. Such an option could automate deletion across multiple pages based on image size (like I did with preflight) or even image position, which is a data point that is available through the preflight analysis. That would make…

  18. The same options for creating a personalized signature should be made available for creating personalized initials. Specifically, I'd like to be able to import an image file of my initials. Currently, the only options are to type your initials or use the cursor to digitize them. Neither sufficiently replicates the look of real, handwritten initials.

  19. acrobat pro 8.1 had a feature "copy as table" that would copy part of a table in a pdf and allow you to paste it into excel with columns intact. this has been replaced with export in 2024. "copy as table" was much easier and more efficient. please bring it back

  20. Before it was possible in Comments mode to simply copy some text and paste it over text you wanted to replace. Now you must right click, select Add Note to Replace Text, then past the required text into the comment section. This takes so much longer. Usability and productivity has been reduced
