Improved scanning process.
Preprocces to recognize features of forms such as boxes with or without checks and the boxes around fields.
I scan image documents to be able to search for technical reviews or to export them to excel, access, or word. Current situation: On forms empty or full check boxes are frequently recognized as text and the text is wrong and takes a long time to correct. The same occurs with text near boundaries around form fields. If form type features such as check boxes and field boundaries can be recognized by a scanning algorithm very different from the small box scan process used to recognize text. If done many non text pixels can be removed from the pixels for the text scan eliminating many errors and speeding the text scan process. The orie3ntation information from the form features may also contribute to make text scaning more accurate. There is perhaps in the current text scan process many lines of code devoted to difficulty caused by non-text form artifacts. Knowledge of form boundaries can also contribute to the recognition process. Some non text blobs and imperfections located too near the boundaries ought to contribute to the presumption the it is non-text. Horizontal field lines can contribute to the likelihood estimate that some unknown blob is text if that possible text is at a 15 degree angle or more to the box orientation. I am attaching an image showing my version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I do wuiswh to end saying this is a fantaqstic prodiuct already and has improved a great deal since I first started using Acrobat.

Boomark/Page Thumbanails
Can we make it possible to be able to view bookmarks and page thumbnails simultaneously? My department is now using Adobe to aid switching to electronic filing. This would be a huge time saver!

Adobe Sign Multiple Field Reassignment en masse
Adobe Sign should allow you to reassign multiple fields at once. As it is now, it automatically imports fields on a form assigned to "Anyone". In order to reassign the fields to a specific person or to "Prefill" before sending, you must go field by field and change each one. Being able to reassign en masse would be a huge time saver. Also, other options like marking fields as required en masse would help as well.

Preparing a document for Send & Sign
I had a 42 page document that I needed to send out for initials & signatures. I carefully [for 30 minutes] prepared the document for sender + 2 signers, sent to be "prepared" and then clicked sign. It came back with me being the only signer in every place I had prepared. This despite checking and double checking the emails addresses were correct for signers 1 & 2. So I tried going in and editing the fields, which still did not resolve the problem. So I deleted the document and redid it...with the same result. I called support and spoke to them for 45 minute with no resolution [case ADB-269200-V1H7] Later I went back into the "prepared" document and found that most of what I had entered ["prepared"] was NOT connected to the proper signer as I had entered it. So I spent another block of time to re-edit. In total I spent about 3 hours getting the document to a correctly formatted form that could be sent out. Can someone explain what happened between me "preparing" and your DC unformatting-uploading ? I can tell you if this happens again I will be changing services.

Wildcard searches within documents
After trying to search for names in a 2000+ page PDF document, I discovered that wildcard searches are only available at the folder level, not the document level. In this particular case, the names might or might not include a middle initial so a basic First*Last search is critical. This is old technology that needs to be brought back. We included wildcard searches of documents 35 years ago in software - but they seem to have vanished. It isn't difficult to write the code and test it - especially since Adobe already does it for collections of documents. It just needs to work for individual documents as well. Seems like a low hanging fruit for Adobe to add this functionality to Reader and Document Pro.
I don't know what category this should be placed in since it actually has to do with working with PDF documents, not creating them.

Print marked up compared pages / Automatically compare pages using labels
Compare Files shows a very nice, side-by-side, comparison with markups showing where the changes are at. I would like to print exactly what I'm seeing there (page content and markups) but when I try to print it wants to print a summary page as page 1, and/or, a very busy looking page with labels on the side pointing to changes within the page. I could print the screen, but that's not ideal.
Also, it would be nice to automatically compare pages by page label. For example, I have a 200 page document, and somebody provides me with an 8 page document holding revised pages, but they haven't specified exactly what has changed. One could quickly compare just the relevant pages by using the page label information to identify what should be compared. The way it is now you have to select one page of one document to compare to a selected page of the other document, and it is based on the sequence number, not the page label.

Here's an idea...whenever trying to edit a picture and this ANNOYING message pops up:
"The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?"
A NEW OPTION appears > DO NOT ASK AGAIN FOR EVER AND EVER THRU ETERNITY. THANKS9 votesThank you for the feedback. I have forwarded your request to the engineering team. They will reach out to you if any more information is needed.

Must make it available to see who has activated their license and who hasn't
I am an admin who manages the Adobe Portal for hundreds of licenses at my company. With the new portal, it doesn't allow me as the admin of our portal to see who has activated their license. This is a HUGE issue for us. We used to be able to see who had activated it and who hadn't and if they hadn't, we would remove their license and give it to another user. This is no longer available. Making improvements shouldn't remove options, but add some. This new bug is HUGE for my company. This new portal is going back in technology. You guys must find a way to bring it back.

Signatures
When creating a signature for example drawning your own. Would be great if you could add a feature to save the exactly same signature across your devices. Because you want the signature that you draw look the same.

To be able to search by Folder Name, not just document name.
Our folders are titled by Client Name, so we need to find FOLDERS, not Documents in the search bar.
Almost all our folders contain the same document titles for all the separate clients, so searching for a document name does not work at all. We must be able to search by FOLDER NAME in order to use the search function at all.
Thank you!

How can I look at previous versions of a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?
I am trying to move my colleagues away from .docx to .pdf. Unfortunately we often have to review older version of a file that has been modified. How can we do this in DC? Can we?

Creating table summary removes accessible table tags
Using the latest Acrobat DC on MacOS Sierra, the only way to add a summary to a table also removes correct, accessible tags.
The only way to access the table summary is to open the Touch Up Reading Order panel, highlight the table in question, and mark it as a table in the TURO panel--even though the table was already correctly tagged and in the correct reading order. After this is done, the user can right click on the table and add a table summary.
However, doing this changes the <table> tag to two nested <sect> tags and removes any <TH> header cells, which are necessary for accessibility. If a document is already accessible except for a table summary, the person remediating the document has to completely retag the table to get the summary, instead of being able to just add a summary to an already-correct table.
Some accessibility tutorials account for this and include instructions to re-designate the table with the TURO panel, and some just open the TURO panel and right click without having to update the tags (which does not work), so I am hoping this is a bug that can be fixed. Older versions of Acrobat force the user to remove existing tag structure before being able to add a table summary.
This makes a table summary not worth it when you're working with documents at scale, as our company is. It would be really nice to have this feature available to us without all the extra steps redoing what was already done correctly.

Edit PDF in Adobe Pro DC online
The online version of Adobe Pro DC needs to have an edit function for existing PDFs. Especially ones that were created in the desktop version of Pro DC. You are unable to continue working on a PDF that you created on the desktop, but need to do an update or edit to that file away from your desktop/office.
