1. New Acrobat Pro 2023.006.20320 tools interface

   People don't have time to find where everything has been moved to when you upgrade Acrobat. The new GUI is horrible. You are slowing down my productivity.

   Tools being located on the left side instead of the top menu bar is useless to most of the users.

2. Change for the sake of change

   Swapping the bookmarks pane and the tools pane is a stupid idea with no benefit for your users. Please go back to the old interface. If I have to use a new one I might as well just view documents in the browser and stop using Acrobat.

3. Hide Page Controls by Default

   Please add a setting to preferences to hide page controls by default on each new PDF.

   I don't want page controls docked to the top of the screen because I never use them, so when I choose "Hide Page Controls" I would like it if they stayed hidden. Yet, every time I open a new PDF, there they are again. I have to choose "hide page controls" on every new document. They hide content on the PDF by constantly getting in the way. You either have to drag it around or choose the setting I mentioned earlier to see the content underneath it.

   Thanks for Reaching out to us for your concerns.
   The default Save icon is not added from the Quick Tools list though it is visible from the “Show File Tools” and the SaveAs tool is added from the customized tools and thus they appear in separate sections.

5. Make text boxes, callout boxes, drawing tools not sticky

   All out comments are done with text boxes, text callout boxes, lines and arrows (as opposed to the sticky-note style comment). When we select any of those tools, they stay selected, i.e. when I draw a callout box and type, then click off of it, all I do is create yet another callout box. I have to click the arrow at the top of that pane to deselect it, then click AGAIN to manually move or resize my box. Previous Adobe version, did not "stick" when I selected a text box or callout box or an arrow or line from drawing tools. Now it does, and boy is it a problem.

6. Tools bar should be completely customizable

   I want to remove some of the tool or change their order but the «default» tools cannot be change. For example, for me I never use the signature tool so it is annoying to always have this tool in my bar.

   I also agree with other comments I saw that the tool bar should not overlap the content of the PDf.

7. No AI, Add Favorite Tools Option

   The Home menu is terrible, and continues to get more and more cluttered with every update.

   First, why does my "Recommended tools for you" list, default to AI every time I open this app, and I have to click an arrow to the next page with the actual tools. I am so sick of companies shoving "time saving" AI down my throat that actually just ends up wasting my time.

   Second, I would love to be able to set favorite tools, rather than these recommendations. They are truly terrible. What are they basing this suggestions on? I have never even used "Request e-signatures" tool and it's the first one to appear on this list. But it's also right next to this recommended list, in it's own box under "Get documents signed fast". So why is it even an option to appear under the recommendations?

   The fact that it's faster and less frustrating to just to click on the "See all tools" option to find the one I need, means that you are doing a bad job at UI.

8. hide comment

   Where is the hide all comments option? In the past version there was a toggle that hid all comments but it's no longer there. It was useful because I can go over a document many times with a different color each time e.g. a document with questions, I can highlight my first pass in a color then hide all comments then do a second pass in another color, but now I can't do that.

9. Ability to Hide Toolbars in a Portfolio like Adobe XI

   In Adobe XI, we were able to hide the Editing Tools and toolbars in a Portfolio, so when we sent it to a client, they were able to only view the documents. Can we please get that capability back in Adobe Acrobat 2017?

10. Ability to pin ALL TOOLS

    Is it possible to pin All Tools so I don't have to keep opening it? So frustrating that the window closes! This new update requires so many clicks to do simple tasks, very irritating.

    what happened to the old mark up tools? highlight text with note, delete text (red line through), etc??
    I used those extensively previously, and this new version is pretty useless without them

13. Clumsy control of tools display

    The placement and removal of tool symbols on the display on the top of the page is hard to control and unnecessarily complicated. It is clear how to add tools to the display by selecting the upward arrow, but why can't I remove tools in a similar manner? Why are the 'custom quick tools' hidden behind two other menu items? Ideally, one should be able to replace the displayed items by dragging their symbols on and off the display bar. There is a huge advantage of convenience when the tool is pinned to the top display bar versus having to find them in a hidden menu. Since its creation, PDF editing has been like that - clumsy, NOT user friendly. It's high time to shape up, Adobe!

14. Turning Off Tab view breaks puggin Tools

    Tabbed View by default isn't suitable as documents are often compared visually & make better use of multiple screen space. However Turning Off Tabbed view now breaks (hides) 3rd Party Plugin tools (namely Enfocus Pitstop Pro).
    Because a restart is required to re-enable Tabbed viewing, that causes loss of changes, or having to save/discard multiple changes potentially on multiple documents.
    & Because I'm here.... NOT A SINGLE Feature added to Acrobat DC has been an improvement.

15. Collapse "navigation pane buttons" bar by default

    Hello friends. Firstly (coming from X on Windows 10) I think the new Acrobat UI is very cool! I have been able to customize almost completely to optimize for my work. I'd like to request a new feature I can't find (but if exists please point me to the solution). I'd like to open a pdf and have the "navigation pane buttons" completely hidden by default. Currently when I open a file I can click the small arrow on the left to collapse the "navigation pane buttons," but I'd really like this closed by default. I have bad eyesight and maximizing the size of the file on startup is important to me. Even that very small 5 to 10% I gain from collapsing the "navigation pane buttons" helps tremendously. I would use the control+H feature and use "Read Mode" except there is no way to disable the floating page navigation bar that pops up. I become extremely distracted by any type of animations in my workflow (gives me vertigo and nausea) and although I wish I could, I cannot use Read Mode as a workaround at all. Thanks in advance for considering this idea, it really means a lot to me!

    How to permanently hide menu bar (File,edit,view,window,help) permanently (presently, when i press F9, it disappear, but when i re-open that document or any other pdf document, again that menu bar (File,edit,view,window,help) appears on screen and i never use it mostly, so can you please help me to hide menu bar (File,edit,view,window,help) permanently ? beacause my monitor screen is shorter and in that foxit pdf reader has best option to customize user interface. but i want to use adobe acrobat dc only so can you please help to give any option selection in adobe acrobat dc pro where i can permenently hide menu bar ((File,edit,view,window,help) raw line completely?

17. Tools strip

    The latest update on Acrobat DC has a floating tool strip on the left that COVERS UP THE DOCUMENT I AM WORKING ON!!! How do I get rid of this blasted thing?!
    I hate this latest update so much! Switching things around etc. It's horrible!

18. Annoying we cannot hide side toobars

    It's super annoying we cannot hide the side bars. If I am editing two pdf's side by side they take up a LOT of space. This is a professional app. Also a very expensive all. Why don't we have complete and configurable key commands that we can use instead of giving up 30% of our screen space to toolbars?

    I constantly create PDF's all day long. There used to be a way to have a button for Create a Scanned PDF Using Custom Scanner Setting. That button would be on the home screen when you opened adobe. The button is still there because I created it. However, when I open Adobe, I have to click Tools then Create PDF for the button to appear. I click this same button at least 100 times or more a day. Is there a way/there should be a way to customize the home screen so that instead of seeing recent files, you see things you're actually going to use. That way I do not have to waste my time clicking TOOLS then Create PDF (or any tool) to get to the customizable button that I created.

20. TOOLS TAB NOT WORKING

    'Tools' tab not functioning.
    When accessing directly from top bar, or from the last option on the right column, the tools tab is a blank screen. Not offering the options available, including to redact a document.
