  1. Increasingly throughout the internet there are files available which are not in our own language ☹ I remain baffled why an in-built translator has not been implemented to generate a translated document given the number of countries globally using Adobe today. In simple terms, we have computers to do this for us as I again find myself attempting the labourious task to convert line by line through an online translator. This says a lot for us as a technology society.

  2. The "To" Column on Shared files index is a very important reference feature that was lost in updates. Would very much appreciate having it back. Makes reviews and finding reviews much easier and quicker, especially when same doc might have gone to different groups. Thanks so much for great tools!

  6. You people are living in India, utilizing its resources, and hiring its people, and making a huge profit out of it, and still you do not support even a single Indian language. We Indians really need to do something about it.

  7. Some Forms (IRS) restrict areas of the document where you can enter information. This can be helpful, except when you need to sign and date the form after you have filled it in. For some reason the "date" part of the form will not accept text from "Fill and Sign", but it will accept a stamp. All of the default dynamic stamps in Acrobat have additional, un-needed text like "Approved', etc.

    Please add two dynamic stamps that have ONLY 1) the Date and 2) Date and Time without any additional verbage so that the user can quickly sign AND date…

  8. I do a lot of commenting and the commenting tools used to work much better.
    Here are my top wishes:
    1. Instant 'add note to replace text'. It used to work, so that if you highlighted a word or a sentence, all you needed to do was to start writing and the text would appear in a blue comment box.
    2. When reviewing comments in a document, I really need an up and down arrow, so I can jump through all comments one at a time.
    3. Allow for ALL the commenting tools to be available in the main tool…

In Acrobat 9, the "comments" window displayed the COLOR of the corresponding sticky note (there was a small sticky note icon in each window that showed the color of the corresponding note).It was possible to quickly view and navigate to related pages/sections of the PDF even if the page was not directly viewable; I could quickly scan for all comments that were associated with a RED sticky note, or a BLUE one, etc, by simply scrolling through the comments -- it was not necessary to view the actual page of the PDF to check the color of the sticky note.

  10. When I edit a document, I do not necessarily want to edit existing text. I do not want Acrobat to do an OCR process on the document and create uncountable text boxes (that can easily be messed up), when all I wanted to do was either crop the image or add a text box. Please allow the OCR conversion to be toggled off.
    Also when scanning, if you go into an option like increase resolution, all of the changes (like selection of document size) made on the previous screen are lost and have to be entered again Too time consuming!

  11. The current limit of 10MB seems fairly small in today's age. Previous explanations that the document will be emailed and/or opened on mobile devices that can't handle large files is pretty much moot now, because both can typically handle larger files (say 25-40 MB).

  12. There used to be a wide variety of stamps available for accountants some of which were encircled numbers and letters as well as accounting tick marks which included check marks TB GL and things of the sort. I was told these were not put into the newer versions of acrobat but are extremely useful when marking up workpapers. Please add this feature into Acrobat 2017 Pro

  13. Hello, could you review the modalitée for sending a Pdf by mail, it should have the mail is directly open the mail software. And also when I have a Pdf of several pages and I want to send that certain page by mail, before I used the function to extract and I send directly the extraction by mail. Now after extraction if I want to send it I have to register it, is it possible to make sure not to have to register before sending.

  14. We use sync.com for long term storage of documents. It would be great to be able to integrate documents on sync.com with Adobe Document Cloud, and quickly save/upload from/to sync and DC.

  15. It seems that when an author creates a PDF and locks it, the allow highlighting and bookmarking are not a separate item. You should separate this so that it can be a more enjoyable read for the reader. I bought a book. I want to highlight and bookmark the parts that are important to me. The owner said it's a security thing and if he locks it, then that's it, no kind of editing can be done. I don't consider highlighting and bookmarking an edit since the original item will not be changed. You have taken away from my enjoyment…

  17. Needless to say, I print a lot from Acrobat. It bugs me constantly that when the print dialog comes up, it's too big to fit entirely on the screen. The actual "print" button is off screen on the bottom, and requires scrolling down to be able to click it. That should not be the case. Even more annoying is the fact that the dialog itself, although it has a scroll bar, is not responsive to my scrollwheel mouse. It absolutely should be.

  18. I want to be able to resize the comment list to a smaller size than currently available. Right now, the minimum width is much too big for my small laptop. It takes up three inches of the width of my screen space. The total width of the screen is 11.5 inches, which leaves not much for the actual document, especially if I'm looking at two-page spreads.

    Even when I used a huge 25-inch wide screen I need as much space as possible to compare two documents side by side. The wide comment lists get in the way.

  20. This has been reported on another thread and marked as solved - it isn't. I have just purchased a copy of Acrobat Pro and am unable to edit .pdf's, which is precisiely why I bought it. The subscription simply isn't worth the money without this capability.

    I have noticed some suggested solutions but these are highly technical and not something I would have access to do at work.

    Could a solution be suggested - fast - as it seems as though this is quite a common error?
