  1. I would like to have some control over the Storage panel on my Save As PDF dialogue box. Document Cloud is useless for me. I use several folders on my computer that contain many subfolders, and would like to get to those main folders quickly. Why can’t this work the way finder panels work, where I can add or delete destination folders?

  2. When highlighting in the newest version of Acrobat Pro, one may select the highlight feature and then highlight the text, just as one would do with a physical highlighter. When using the "Insert text at cursor" feature, however, one must first place the cursor in the desired location and then select the insert text feature. This seems inconsistent with the highlight feature. I don't recall this being the case in the previous version and I'm having trouble getting use to the change. (One of many.)

  3. To be an editing program, Adobe Acrobat needs actual editing features.

    1) There needs to be a way to set margins, and to lock and unlock headers and footers in place for editing. 2) Compatibility issues with other adobe programs need to be addressed.

I'm trying to work with a file created by someone else in Adobe InDesign at the moment, and there are serious formatting issues crossing over with the text being randomly broken up into multiple text boxes. Even if I copy-paste all the text on one page into a single text area, after I save the document…

  4. My cursor keeps disappearing, making my workflow incredibly slow and annoying. I've looked into forums and reinstalled many times but it won't fix the bug. I also have trouble selecting text. The problem seems to affect other users too, some were able to find fixes that worked for them, but I've had the same issue for months without any solution.

  6. Currently my Adobe premiere pro doesn't work properly. Audio and video is disappearing and appearing when it wants to and i don't know what to do with it. Maybe it's an idea to create an environment inside of to collaborate with premiere pro which has an answer to the current problems in Adobe?

  7. Older versions had dedicated buttons on the quick tool bar for rotate clockwise and rotate counterclockwise. The current release only has a single button for rotation that opens a separate box, requiring more clicks. The only way to have dedicated buttons that I've found is to open the page thumbnails pane.

  8. I have a CC account with my university.

I have a preferred name which is the only name displayed on my Adobe account (online and in all CC Applications like PS, AI, etc.).

But on Adobe DC, my former name is displayed somehow.
Despite the name not appearing on any of my actual Adobe account information.

    Hello,

When you say Adobe DC, I believe you mean Acrobat Pro DC?

Try the following steps and let us know if that helps:
    1. Launch Acrobat.
    2. Click on your name at the top right corner. And click on Sign-out.
    3. Close Acrobat and re-launch, it should ask for re-login. Enter your Adobe-ID and check.

Let us know if that helps.

  9. Note to Adobe:

When your support members are trying to contact clients,

    1) Always leave a voicemail when contacting by phone if the person cannot be reached at that time. I get 5-10 scam calls a day, and do not answer the phone for any number I do not recognize. If a number calls me repeatedly and does not leave a voicemail, I BLOCK IT. It doesn't help if you don't leave at least a voicemail identifying yourself. And you should have a number for that person to Call Back.

    2) Do not request a response to an email from…

  10. Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, Version 2018.009.20050
    Windows 10 Professional 64-bit

I save a portfolio in Split Vertical view.
When I reopen the portfolio, it has Split Horizontal view.

Acrobat should remember it was last in Split Vertical view.

Setting Split Vertical view should also be an option in the Properties of a Portfolio PDF.

    Thanks

  11. Acrobat is printing the square of however many copies I ask it to print. So, if I print 2 copies, Acrobat actually prints 4. If I print 4 copies, Acrobat prints 16, etc. I am running it on a Mac mini and my printer is an HP LaserJet Pro 400. I have tried turning off the computer & printer, with no success. It is still doing the same thing.

  12. This is a bug. When using the acrobat extension in macOS microsoft Word to convert the doc to a PDF it removes internal links. It works fine for external links such as websites, but if I put a link in place that quickly takes you to another place in the document when clicked, this is removed when converting to a PDF. The text still appears blue but the link is not existent.

  14. Under the prepare form area, you can add form fields. However, you can't rotate the field box. It always stays straight. I would like to be able to rotate it based on the direction of the image/text in the project.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

  16. My feature request is specifically related to Adobe's use of Amazon Web Services to store the identity management details (first name, last name, email address) that a named user account requires to have registered with Adobe. My request is to leverage AWS regional location capabilities to store the data and content in AWS Canada's servers for Adobe's Canadian customers. My business has been advised that release of new serialized versions of Acrobat (and some other Adobe products) will end in 2018, and that I am to move to named user licensing. My organization is public sector and located in British…

  17. Currently the default lookup reference for word definitions in Acrobat is dictionary.com, an inadequate resource for a great many word definitions. There should be a setting to change this default to another URL of the user's choice. Some examples, but not exclusively, that are significantly better than the current choice would be merriamwebster.com or oxforddictionaries.com

  20. I respectfully suggest you consider enhancing Acrobat DC’s current annotation and highlighting tools to enable users to markup documents directly and instantly and do so without putting your users through Acrobat DC’s 28 tool / function menus.

I have been using Acrobat extensively for over 20 years and have a continuous need to annotate a wide range of PDF documents – legal, financial and technical and more. My annotation needs are both textual and graphic. While I remain loyal to Adobe Acrobat, I find Acrobat DC’s current annotation and highlight tools visually weak, limited in graphic capabilities and VERY timer-consuming…
