  1. Would like to be able to select open tabs and combine/save them as one pdf rather than go out to the combine pdf function and drop/select them. Since they are already open and have been updated, now want to combine the tabs and not save the files separately and then use the regular combine function.

  2. Here's an idea...whenever trying to edit a picture and this ANNOYING message pops up:
    "The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?"

    A NEW OPTION appears > DO NOT ASK AGAIN FOR EVER AND EVER THRU ETERNITY. THANKS

  3. After an update of Acrobat DC has been installed on our computers:
    the PitStop Pro toolbars had disappeared and
    the PitStop Pro selection tool frequently becomes unresponsive

    Windows specifications: Windows 10 Pro / version 1709 / OS Build 16299.98
    Pitstop specifications: Enfocus Pitstop Pro 17 Build 786028
    Acrobat specifications: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - version 2018.009.20050

  4. Add option to disable auto email of sent documents. It is annoying to get 100's of unecessary emails if you don't need notification of sent docs..

  7. Allow a user to set up a specific date/ time for a document to be sent out for signature. For deal closings, i often need all signature to be a specific date. Because signatures are date stamped, i often have to wait up until midnight to be able to send them out on a specific date in order to get that date stamp. Would be useful to be able to schedule that transmission within the program

  9. Add feature to edit the sent by field that the recipient sees. I would like my customers to see the name of my business, not my name.

  10. The option to clear all the fields on a form has been removed. I have a form that I re-use for various jobs, and now I must manually clear all of the fields in the form in order to fill it out afresh. The deletion of this feature irritates me mightily.

    Hi,

    We would like to know, how were you using “clear all fields” option? Was it a button or a menu item?

    Reader cannot “Edit/Modify” PDF and hence “Reset Form” is not available in Reader. As long as you didn’t save the form (as you mentioned), you can use the following command in Acrobat Reader: File > Revert.

    “Clear Form/Reset Form” can only be added via Acrobat. You can ask the author of the form to add a button using Form Fields Properties > Actions > Reset Forms.
    And, if you are the author, you can clear it from Tools > Prepare Forms > More Options > Clear Form.

    I hope this resolves your issue. If not, please share details for more information.

  11. It would be nice if the pen/pencil tool in the comment tool set didn't auto-smooth a fraction of a second after the pen stroke. I fill out some PDF forms on a regular basis which are then emailed. I love maintaining a paperless workflow but a lot of my writing is in small-ish print (approx 10-12pt) at moderately high zoom levels and I find at that scale that if I'm not very careful about stroke speed and technique, the smoothing feature modifies character shapes in bizarre ways. Periods (".") and the dots on i's and j's don't take unless I…

  14. I think Adobe Acrobat Pro DC should work as Acrobat Reader after the trial period ends. This way, like in my case, people that want to buy a monthly subscription on and off can still use it as Acrobat Reader and don't need to install Acrobat Reader separately.

  15. So the thing is I work as a prepress operator and usually use the Acrobat for checking incoming files if they are print worthy or if the designer needs to change colours and stuff.
    Sometimes there are elements, shapes that need to be moved and if we don't have the font or the file was made in Corel or other unknown program and the production is in a hurry the best option would be editing the doc with acrobat.
    But since the edit page tries to recognise the pages it takes a LOT of time and with books and even…

  16. Send Adobe Acrobat "Send & Track" and "Send For Signature" from personal or business email address instead of noreply@acrobat.com. This would be much more professional and prevent the emails from missing their inbox or not being read. If the emails came from an email address they already recognize, it will be noticed and opened.

  17. Why do i have to keep signing in to use it. Why does it continually crash? Why has it stuffed my computer so that it runs at a snail pace?. You really have over engineered, over done the security, and over complicated this product. I will never use Adobe products again!!!!!

  19. We need the ability to query a Cloud storage account for a present folder (and the ability to create a new folder) when opening or saving files directly from Adobe Acrobat.

    Since it seems Adobe uses the same infrastructure for all cloud storage systems, if this is implemented for one company, I'd imagine it'd be entered for all compatible ones (Box, Dropbox, Onedrive, etc.).

    We already have this functionality in the Microsoft Office integrations of these same cloud providers, so using Acrobat significantly slows the process of opening or saving files from the cloud when one has to go through…

  20. I want to suggest an improvement to Acrobat Professional:

    When adding headers or footers to a document, I suggest that the mechanism use the document's page numbers, instead of inventing its own.

    For example, my document has page numbers A.1 through A.29 followed by B.1 through B.7 followed by C.1 through C.6 ... followed by V.1 through V.11.

    Right now, it seems that the only way I can get the actual page numbers to accurately appear in the footer is Add 22 different footers. That's an onerous task.
