  1. If Acrobat is open, and you use hot corners in Apple Mission Control for "Show Desktop", icons on the desktop are not selectable. If Acrobat is closes, normal Mission Control behaviour resumes.

  5. Acrobat needs an eraser tool, much like the one provided in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. I work with old pdf images of recorded documents dating clear back to the 1800's; these documents have a lot of photographic "static", shadows images left by the camera which took the image photo, and these items need to be erased to give the document better readability. It is hard to describe without watching the process. If you want a demonstration, contact me and you can log into my computer and watch my process.

  6. When I have 'Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat' DESELECTED, I STILL get an ANNOYING message from Adobe about completing my profile. I DO NOT want to get any message about the Profile!

  7. I'd love for Adobe to add support for combining and convert email attachments. We use Adobe Acrobat for bulk printing, and it would be wonderful if we could load email messages (.msg) files in the combine files to Adobe box, and then print them.

    Hi

    This is already present in Acrobat – Combine menu.
    1. click on File>Create > Combine Files into Single PDF.
    2. Click on Add Files dropdown and select Add Email.

    Alternatively, you can drag and drop emails on Acrobat’s combine window.

  8. When printing a portfolio, the document print in the order they are named. Could you create an option for the portfolio to print in the order the files are in the portfolio? We use Adobe Acrobat for all our bulk printing tasks, and we have to rename the files to make sure they print in order.

  9. I fill data in a PDF form and save the changes. When I return to the document at a later stage, and make a single change, I lose all the previous data entered, only retaining the last change. It is annoying to lose all your typed data.

    Luckily I save it in Dropbox, so can get back to original revisions.

  11. Ability to set the default scale (other than 1=1) for all future PDF docs.
    AND the ability to set the scale for each individual PDF docs that will remain assigned to that PDF even if you exit Adobe Acrobat and re-open it. I'm an engineer, and work with various different scales, so it would be very beneficial for each PDF, if the user set scale would remain locked with each document, so you don't have to re-establish the scale after exiting and re-opening Adobe Acrobat.

    In previous versions of Acrobat, it was possible to copy and paste not only written (text) comments, but it was possible paste lines, boxes, ovals, clouds and other comment features from one page to another page.

    This is of importance because we use Acrobat to mark up floor plan drawings and send those comments back to the Architect for review and correction. The current version of Acrobat, as far as I am concerned, is broken because it no longer permits…

  13. I have a pharma client that I've been working on a Sales Aid for. It was created in InDesign Interactive. At the end of this 8 page (or so) document, there's a simple form for people to request a patient starter kit. No signature is required. We would like to have people submit the form directly to my client, but in Acrobat Pro, the form goes to the end user's email address and they need to forward the form on to my client. This is a 2-step process and not ideal at all for user experience. Client wants the form…

  14. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is way too cumbersome. The old Acrobat Pro 9 was much more user friendly. Too much time is spent trying to find out how to work with this version.

    DC is now our prime product with all the active development. Change can be a little convenient but i assure you DC will not disappoint you.

  16. I would like to request that the account manager information be added to the Admin portal. This is not specific to a product. If I need to contact my account manager I have no way to look up this information and it seems to change frequently.

  17. There should simply be an option when you click to sign form to add a digital signature. That was a feature that existed before, but now it's much more difficult to create digital signature boxes.

  18. To use a time scale to limit PDF files being used or viewed even if they have been uploaded to a Web Page.

    We have a very High Profile Client who has requested that we provide a service whereby he can stop people viewing his PDF files after a specified time scale. At present they have to monitor the numerous websites where their PDF file have been uploaded to and request that that are taken down. They want this function to automatically stop the PDF from being viewed.

    Thanks for bringing this issue to our notice. Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future

  19. As an architect or an engineer, we are always managing plans with different scales that have (usually) a graphic scale for reference. The measure tool would be EXTREMELY useful if includes an option to set the scale by selecting two points on an eventual graphic scale included within an existing pdf... this will help to quickly have the pdf in scale and ready to be measured.

    Please, include this feature.

    You can just add the more frequently tools to the Quick Tools on top. Alternately you can just search for the tool you need in the Search box in Right Hand Panel.
