  1. Please allow a user to assign a "Participant Role" to multiple fields at once inside of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Convert to Adobe Sign form). Similar to how you can select multiple fields and make them all required with one click. This isn't always a huge issue, but when assigning multiple fields in a large table format this can quickly become very tedious and massively time consuming.

  2. Please add the STATUS column back to the Admin Dashboard. When invitations to user are pending, Admins need to see that. If the user does not accept the invite in a specific amount of time, we re-assign the license to someone who will use the software.

  3. I'm constantly in and out of Acrobat.
    I would love to be able to right click and either close all tabs or close all tabs to the right without closing Acrobat. I jump from job to job and each has its own handful of PDFs to view. When I'm done with a job, I have to either manually close each tab or close the whole window and select close all tabs. Then immediately after, I have to open more and wait for Acrobat to start up again.

  4. Why would I need a dialogue box to tell me it's preparing and ready?? JUST DO IT! I don't need 15 dialogue boxes for each document open telling me about it. It's a background task; it should be in the background. This is so painfully obvious I can't understand why this dialogue box exists or why it doesn't disappear when ready instead of forcing itself on top and in the way.

  5. How do I highlight test in Reading Mode or Full Screen mode? As far as I see, the highlighting tool (and probably many other tools) switch off in these screen modes and even the pin button does not change this.

  6. After 2 years and 7 months I am just learning that I have to be signed in to use my subscription to Acrobat Dc properly. Maybe this is understood but it would have been nice if it was explained back in 2015. I have been using software that works sometime and not others. I found it hard to edit or save files at times and thought the software was a beta version (not fully tested)

  7. Save as Other>Reduced Size PDF in DC - Adobe's prior versions of Acrobat reduced the file size much much more. DC Reduced Sized files are still too huge! It's not true they can't be reduced more in size because outside apps are able to do this without any difference in readability for basic use.

    I would request you to use the “Optimize Scanned Pages” feature of Optimize PDF application. Please follow the below steps :

    1. Open your PDF file and go to Optimize PDF application.
    2. Choose the “Optimize Scanned Pages” option. Press “OK” on the next dialog with default settings.

  12. In acrobat XI, text boxes and other markups added in adobe are excluded when exported to jpg format.

    Exports to tiff format work correctly.

    Workaround: export to tiff and then convert to jpg

  13. This is a recurring problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC: When a file is closed in Acrobat (by closing the corresponding tab), the program doesn't not release the file. As a result, the file cannot be renamed or moved until Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is closed. I have attached an image of the error dialog that pops up. This is on Windows.

    Of course, this is a major inconvenience because I have many tabs open and closing Adobe merely to be able to rename a file that's no longer supposed to be open in Adobe is not something that enhances…

    The error here explains that the PDF is opened in Adobe PRO.

    This could be because the file is still writing the changes made in the PDF.

    Could be that the file is opened from a server location/shared servers. And that the change is waiting to commit.

  14. I somehow have put a password on acrobat where it automatically puts paswords on all of my documents and i cant remeber what the password is.... this means i and others can open documents but we cant edit them????

  15. I can create a pdf with embedded video and email it, but the video can't be seen or accessed on a mobile device. Most businesses use email that is read on their mobile devices, so an attachment with a small video can't be seen.

  16. In a previous version of Acrobat (I believe it was version 9) it was possible to filter comments by color. Please bring back this feature, it was one of the most useful features of Adobe Acrobat. As a technical author, I need to add lots of different comments that are directed to different people. Some are only relevant for the illustrators, some for the developers, others for fellow writers, etc.
    Sometimes I also categorize the status of comments by color. E. g.:
    - green --> done
    - orange --> needs some clarification
    - red --> can't/won't be done

    Without the…

  17. Under the prepare form area, you can add form fields. However, you can't rotate the field box. It always stays straight. I would like to be able to rotate it based on the direction of the image/text in the project.

    Thank you for your time and consideration.

  19. I used to be able to have thumbnails show up every time I open a .pdf. I open very large file all the time, so it's very nice to be able to set thumbnails to be visible as a default instead of having to request it with each new document

  20. I would like to know how to delete or hide properties in Acrobat Pro DC? For example, the dates modified, the created, and the edit time. This would be great for documents that are reused over the course of time.
