Combine multiple files never works after update
After each update "combine multiple files" to 1 pdf doesn't work anymore. Typically Acrobat doesn't recognize/accept word.docs anymore. It used to be so easy. Go on windows explorer, chose files (word, pdf), right mouse botton, combine multiple files, done. Why are you constantly changing things that worked so well before.

Crop & Set Page Size ICONS
These two icons do 2 completely different functions from one another. They have appeared the same for ages now. I think it is finally time to create a new Icon look for one or the other. Having both on my quick tools is rather daunting because they look exactly the same.

Migrate from VMware to Windows 365: Simplifying Desktop Virtualization
As businesses adapt to hybrid and remote work, many are considering a shift from VMware to Windows 365 to simplify virtual desktop management. While VMware provides powerful virtualization, Windows 365 offers a cloud-based, scalable solution that integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft ecosystem.
The migration process begins with assessment and planning. Organizations need to evaluate existing VMware workloads, identify user requirements, and map them to Windows 365 Cloud PCs. This helps in creating a clear roadmap for migration while ensuring that performance and compliance needs are met.
Windows 365 makes virtual desktops more accessible and cost-efficient. Unlike traditional VMware infrastructure,…

PDF Maker: New Bug puts <Figure> tags in the wrong reading order
Affects Windows Office users who use Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker (the Acrobat ribbon) to export PDFs from MS Office apps. Definitely affects US English versions, and may affect other language versions.
With the recent Acrobat update on either Sept. 12 or Oct. 17, 2023 (Acrobat ver. 23.006.xxxxx with PDF Maker 23 and Library 23.6.136), figures anchored in the Word.docx file do not end up in the correct location in the PDF's tag tree.
<Figure> tags are scattered randomly throughout the PDF's Tag Tree, sometimes several pages AFTER their anchor point in the Word.docx. Some <Figure> tags do get placed correctly…

"Automatically install update" preference not working
Trying to set the "updater" preference in Adobe Acrobat on Mac behaves as follows:
- it seems to be on by default
- one can try to turn it off. This step calls for an admin password.
- assuming one gives a correct admin password, the pop-up window closes and it appears that the preference has been changed
- opening the preference panel again shows that the preference has not been changed; "automatically install updates" is still onThis error is occurring with both Acrobat Pro DC 2018 and Acrobat Pro 2017. Base O/S is MacOSX 10.12.…

Add proper LongPath support
Adobe fails to open files when a file path & name exceed MAX_PATH. Windows no longer has a hard path character limit if the LongPathsEnabled key is set in the registry. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/fileio/naming-a-file#maximum-path-length-limitation
Modern applications are adopting this new standard with the mentioned file management hooks provided by the OS.
Adobe is falling behind in this regard. Please add proper Long Path support.
