  2. At the bottom of the tools panel information is located about my adobe plan.
The issue with this information area is, that it is animated. When opening Acrobat, this area is fist empty, then it pops up information about adobe cloud and then changes to information about my plan.

This is the only part of the GUI that's "animated". This is very distracing, as a GUI should - without user input - only be "animated" if there is something important going on.
For daily work (which might include opening and closing acrobat a lot) the information presented there is…

  3. It would be incredibly useful to be able to set keyboard shortcuts for the "Set Status: None, Accepted, Completed, Cancelled, and Rejected" commenting tools.

Set status, to me is an advanced feature used to enable more efficient workflows, adding keyboard shortcuts would add even more efficiency.

  4. What happened to the tool ribbon at the top of the page? Now we have to navigate by mouse to the 'All Tools' menu which is a hassle. Also, the editable moveable tool ribbon only allows 3 or 4 custom tools.

  6. The field view is entirely too small to manually edit tab order. This should either be a separate pane or perhaps a pop-out window. I easily have over 100 fields on one page and it's impossible to order them as I need to (by column, within a section or rows of fields). Default tab ordering structures (By Row, By Column) are not useful here. Need more flexibility to set tab order manually.

I have forwarded your request to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization. We will contact you if we need some more information on this.
    Thank you for your patience

  7. Quick tool icons are TOO BIG - In Adobe X I was able to fit ALL of my Quick Tools across the top, now you've apparently optimized the program for tablets and there is no way to make the Quick Tool icons small enough which creates TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY CLICKING. WHY do you assume that everyone needs these GIGANTIC icons? Why can't we reduce the size or the "padding" around them? It's beyond annoying.

  9. The current Adobe plugin for Outlook 2016 works very well when creating portfolios from a group of emails. I'm able to add as many emails as I want to a single portfolio and the ability to append them when more emails come in is excellent. But these portfolios can only be added to from Outlook. It is important that I am able to add files to these Outlook portfolios without having to email them to myself first.

    Hi

Thanks for your request. But this is as designed behavior because non-email PDF files won’t have fields like To:, From:, etc. which will create inconsistency in the PDF Portfolio.
So the workaround would be to email those files and convert/append to portfolios.

    Thanks

  10. The new toolbar that hovers on top of the document obscures the reading area on certain devices (like laptops with smaller screens and netbooks) especially when the comments pane is open. It's bizarre to me that Adobe didn't account for different use cases before implementing something like this. It's like whoever made this change viewed their 4k monitor at 100% without ever zooming in and said, "Yeah, this is good. No reason to view this in any other way."

    Possible solutions.

    1. Ditch the floating toolbar altogether. It seems pointless to be able to move the toolbar to a different area…

  11. In Adobe Acrobat DC Comments, the Lock icon adds unnecessary space to the already inefficient spacing (even without the lock, for some reason a lot of extra spacing was added). Is there a way to compress the spacing and/or remove the lock icon, which was never shown in previous versions of Acrobat? If not, the result of our company switching to acrobat DC is a reduction in productivity.

  13. When using prepare forms tool the right sidebar that lists the tab order for fillable fields is too small (20 characters max) and the only way to reorder tab order is by drag and drop.

Consequently, you drag something but you can not read the place that you are dragging to.

Fix the right sidebar where it is resizable.

  14. The new layout is not good for many of my routine tasks and is creating all kinds of trouble for me. I need to be able to hide toolbars in some cases and put toolbars at the top in others. This would allow me to maximize the size of the document on a vertical monitor when needed. Honestly, did you guys get any voice of the customer before making these changes?

  15. I loath, with such passion, the new format of this software. The mutliple tabs, the obscure locations of tools that used to be easily found. Seriously acrobat. wtf.

  16. I want the comment tools to remain as a toolbar. At present it goes away every time I close a document, and I have to bring it back every time I open a new document.

  18. There does not appear to be a way to hide the new "To do" signature requests section at the top of the newly redesigned Recent window. Please allow us to hide this section as it's in the way and annoying.

  19. I often highlight and add text to PDFs. The current workflow is cumbersome, especially when I need to switch from one feature to other.

Given that it's a premium product, I find that there are just so many unnecessary toolbar options visible while the tools I need often require multiple clicks and cumbersome navigation.

I often find myself hiding all toolbars left, top and right. Worst part is app doesn't remember my settings so I have to hide these toolbars everytime.

Would be nice to have a student mode which provides a light mode version, allowing highlighting and adding/deleting text.

  20. All toolbars into 1 ribbon, and make it customizable (which side it sits, what to show). The toolbars take up too much work space. The left hand floating toolbar is always in the way of text. Most of the tools I dont use (I just click on the toold button when I want to use tools).
