  1. I want the comment tools to remain as a toolbar. At present it goes away every time I close a document, and I have to bring it back every time I open a new document.

  2. I loath, with such passion, the new format of this software. The mutliple tabs, the obscure locations of tools that used to be easily found. Seriously acrobat. wtf.

  3. Remove the 'share', 'feedback', 'learn', 'notification' and 'profile' buttons.
    these buttons are rarely (possibly never) used by the average pdf user.
    even if they are used by some, they should be removable, just like any other tools on the 'customizable' quick access tool bar.
    it is very annoying to have 5 big buttons getting priority over the customizable tool bar. I add and remove the buttons i need on the quick access tool bar, and they end up being hidden by 5 big useless buttons.
    move these buttons to the help menu, where they belong.

  4. I often highlight and add text to PDFs. The current workflow is cumbersome, especially when I need to switch from one feature to other.

    Given that it's a premium product, I find that there are just so many unnecessary toolbar options visible while the tools I need often require multiple clicks and cumbersome navigation.

    I often find myself hiding all toolbars left, top and right. Worst part is app doesn't remember my settings so I have to hide these toolbars everytime.

    Would be nice to have a student mode which provides a light mode version, allowing highlighting and adding/deleting text.

  5. I don't want the forced tools on top, including Home, Tools, Document, and several of the page display icons. I'm a genius and I'll offer a brilliant idea: let users customize their own screen!

    When the window isn't maximized, there's insufficient room for all the tools, and the default unwanted ones prevent the ones I need from being displayed! When the + and - zoom icons aren't shown, they're also not even listed behind the 3-bullet icon on the far right! This is obviously a bug.   6. I HATE the new layout of the Acrobat PRO, it is the most frustrating layout. I have been using Acrobat for YEARS and everytime there is an update it gets worse and worse. There is nothing intuitive about the layout of the tools or that you have icons with no words to express what they stand for. I liked having the menu bar across the top. Please at least give us an option of how to go back to the old style! My workflow is constantly interrupted to have to figure things out!

  7. Make a reliable way for users to set a default for either the "pan" or "text selection" tools. You will see both issues have been raised in online help forums and suggested on this platform.

    I use Acrobat mostly for reading documents. I am so tired of inadvertantly highlighting text or selecting images every time I left click and drag the mouse in an effort to pan because the system defaults to the Select tool rather than the Pan tool.

  9. The program needs an eraser (I've been telling Adobe techs this for years) If you need an example, download a trial version of Bluebeam Revu. Take a look at their crop, eraser, cut and flatten tools. You guys need to step up your game!

  10. Hate this new format. The sidebar icons are too small. The quick tools is not intuitive. Why was it necessary to move the pages and bookmarks to the right when we are accustomed to seeing them on the left. Really frustrated that I can't revert to classic layout or rearrange the tool bars to my preferences. I also don't like that I can't remove drawing and signing from the quick toolbars. I rarely use those features. Just a really poor update with no recourse for the user.

  11. Whenever Acrobat DC updates -- it resets the tools listing i have customized on the sidebar. I wouldn't mind the addition of new tools to the list -- but stop removing the tools i have added. Thanks

  13. In the Tags pane, add a context menu item under New Tag titled Add Multiple tags. The dialog box would allow the user to select the type of tag to add and another input for the number of tags to add.

  14. All toolbars into 1 ribbon, and make it customizable (which side it sits, what to show). The toolbars take up too much work space. The left hand floating toolbar is always in the way of text. Most of the tools I dont use (I just click on the toold button when I want to use tools).

  15. marquee zoom is a critical tool that should be accessible from the quick access tools or pinned somewhere on a tool bar. in the new update on windows 11 this is not possible and marquee zoom can only be activated from the drilling down through the drop down menu each time you need to use it, which is constant for me. in general this release makes it very difficult to set up the interface for efficient use in different work flows. other tools like the print snapshot seem to just be gone. print snapshot is another very useful tool that…

  16. The new UI that was forced upon us is not the most efficient layout for everyone. Therefore, we need the ability to be able to customize access to what tools we use most often. Most of the ones I currently use take multiple clicks to get to and through this, costs me time and frustration. It seems from reading other comments that I am not alone in this viewpoint.

  17. Option to keep page and bookmark navigation panes open. I use them everyday. Every single time I open/create a new pdf, I have to open panes. Haven't found a way to keep them open if it exists.

  18. New layout of Adobe Reader is utterly counterproductive, and makes everyday use of Adobe Reader much slower and confusing.
    I, as well as many other users I know, am using Bookmarks and Pages in at least 95% of times when I use Reader. Therefore, they should be placed on the left, where they are expected to be (it is simply a standard for similar "master-detail" situations).
    Also, primary tools, like paging, zoom-in and -out, are placed in a bottom-right corner, just like they were hiding?! But these are the basic tools, and they must be placed centrally, either…

  19. 1) need a way to click highlight over and over w/o having to reselect the highlighter tool
    2) need a way to go from a selected tool (stamp, highlighter, etc) to hand or select tool quickly (example: dbl right click mouse)

  20. The quick tool icons were changed after Acrobat X during the overhaul of Acrobat's UI to DC and beyond. One of them was to make the tools in the quick access all GRAY, and eliminate their COLOR unil the pointer hovers over it.

    This was a terrible decision and backwards step from a usability standpoint. Humans interact in their environment by perceiving things in color, lots of colors, and rely on color to understand and navigate the world.
