1. Make Pan Tool Pan Again

   A number of people continue to think it's a "bug" rather than a "feature" that the pan tool selects images & text by default in Acrobat DC. And they ought to be right, this is not a desirable feature for a pan tool, vice a select tool. In fact, it's why you have a select tool in the first place: to select images & text.

   Pan tools PAN, as allow you to navigate through the document by clicking & dragging. This feature is literally defeated by having it select images and text when you click & drag. As such, it would be to the benefit of all users if you defaulted the option "Make Hand Tool Select Text & Images" to "off", rather than "on".

   I'd be willing to bet that if you pushed this out in an update, you'd have precisely no one turn it on.

2. Tab order feature

   The field view is entirely too small to manually edit tab order. This should either be a separate pane or perhaps a pop-out window. I easily have over 100 fields on one page and it's impossible to order them as I need to (by column, within a section or rows of fields). Default tab ordering structures (By Row, By Column) are not useful here. Need more flexibility to set tab order manually.

4. Customize New Layout

   The new layout is not good for many of my routine tasks and is creating all kinds of trouble for me. I need to be able to hide toolbars in some cases and put toolbars at the top in others. This would allow me to maximize the size of the document on a vertical monitor when needed. Honestly, did you guys get any voice of the customer before making these changes?

5. Feedback on new layout

   There should be a way to move the tools back to the right, it adds time to my work to keep moving across the screen, why the change? Also what's with the floating tools bar that cannot be hidden or changed? I have no use for it and it's in the way

6. Save tool bar display settings when reopening documents

   I want the comment tools to remain as a toolbar. At present it goes away every time I close a document, and I have to bring it back every time I open a new document.

7. Remove extra spacing and lock icon from annotations (Comments) pane

   In Adobe Acrobat DC Comments, the Lock icon adds unnecessary space to the already inefficient spacing (even without the lock, for some reason a lot of extra spacing was added). Is there a way to compress the spacing and/or remove the lock icon, which was never shown in previous versions of Acrobat? If not, the result of our company switching to acrobat DC is a reduction in productivity.

8. Toolbar obscures document

   The new toolbar that hovers on top of the document obscures the reading area on certain devices (like laptops with smaller screens and netbooks) especially when the comments pane is open. It's bizarre to me that Adobe didn't account for different use cases before implementing something like this. It's like whoever made this change viewed their 4k monitor at 100% without ever zooming in and said, "Yeah, this is good. No reason to view this in any other way."

   Possible solutions.

   1. Ditch the floating toolbar altogether. It seems pointless to be able to move the toolbar to a different area of the document. Just put them back at the top; in the ribbon.

   2. Create the ability to dock the toolbar or close it.

10. new measure tool is useless

    I want my old desktop downloaded 2011 version back with all of the functions intact. Paying an annual subscription for less functions and usability is garbage. We are a construction company that gets hundreds of project drawings in pdf format from owners and contractors. The new measure tool is one of my biggest complaints about the updated software. The measure tool basically has 1 function and it never works properly. If you do not have an original CAD or DWG file and the software to support it you cannot measure anything properly. I can no longer check or measure angles in degrees, I cannot check for 90 square, I cannot input proper scaling. I do not see where or how to set up to measure radius. Where we used to be able to resolve issues or questions in minutes we now have to wait days for RFI responses to come back from architects. This is not an increase in efficiency. I want my old version back please or give us everything the old downloadable software had. The tools now are very limiting for our field of work. Architects typically do not release their DWG files to contractors. Is there a different subscription other than Pro DC that has tools geared more towards the construction industry and construction drawings? Maybe I am just missing it all together and it's all in there and I can't figure the new system out. If so please help!!!

11. pinning marquee zoom

    marquee zoom is a critical tool that should be accessible from the quick access tools or pinned somewhere on a tool bar. in the new update on windows 11 this is not possible and marquee zoom can only be activated from the drilling down through the drop down menu each time you need to use it, which is constant for me. in general this release makes it very difficult to set up the interface for efficient use in different work flows. other tools like the print snapshot seem to just be gone. print snapshot is another very useful tool that should be able to be pinned somewhere.

    these buttons are rarely (possibly never) used by the average pdf user.
    even if they are used by some, they should be removable, just like any other tools on the 'customizable' quick access tool bar.
    it is very annoying to have 5 big buttons getting priority over the customizable tool bar. I add and remove the buttons i need on the quick access tool bar, and they end up being hidden by 5 big useless buttons.
    move these buttons to the help menu, where they belong.

    Recent update has been incredibly terrible for user experience, worst design in the last few years, if not of all time, cannot unpin ALL TOOLS bar on the left, which literarily takes half of the screen. worst tab management and design, unreadable titles and cause of misclicks

14. hide / delete page from signer

    I have a pdf file that is fillable and i send with adobe sign to the signer.
    The pdf file have 2 pages. In the first page there's a radio button (Yes/no)
    I'd like that if the signer choose "no" the second page will be hidden or deleted... is it possible? thank you

15. Bring back the old commenting toolbar

    I am an editor and frequently use the PDF mark-up tools, including strikethrough, insert text and especially "replace selected text". In previous versions, these tools were nicely organized in a toolbar across the top of the screen. If you wanted to use one, you simply had to click or highlight within the text as needed, then choose the appropriate tool in the toolbar. The new version consolidates these and other functions in a reduced menu on the left side of the screen. To use any tool, you now have to click a main icon, then choose the desired tool from a pop-up menu.

    In a document with dozens or hundreds of edits, these extra clicks and tool selections add up. As a result, the editing process is considerably less fluid and intuitive. I have downloaded an older version of Adobe Reader (couldn't find one of Acrobat) to avoid having to deal with this.

    Please bring back the old, complete toolbar of commenting tools.

20. highlighter tool

    1) need a way to click highlight over and over w/o having to reselect the highlighter tool
