Toolbar obscures documentThe new toolbar that hovers on top of the document obscures the reading area on certain devices (like laptops with smaller screens and netbooks) especially when the comments pane is open. It's bizarre to me that Adobe didn't account for different use cases before implementing something like this. It's like whoever made this change viewed their 4k monitor at 100% without ever zooming in and said, "Yeah, this is good. No reason to view this in any other way." Possible solutions. - Ditch the floating toolbar altogether. It seems pointless to be able to move the toolbar to a different area…

Remove the 'share', 'feedback', 'learn', 'notification' and 'profile' buttonsRemove the 'share', 'feedback', 'learn', 'notification' and 'profile' buttons.
these buttons are rarely (possibly never) used by the average pdf user.
even if they are used by some, they should be removable, just like any other tools on the 'customizable' quick access tool bar.
it is very annoying to have 5 big buttons getting priority over the customizable tool bar. I add and remove the buttons i need on the quick access tool bar, and they end up being hidden by 5 big useless buttons.
move these buttons to the help menu, where they belong.39 votes

All toolbars into 1 ribbon, and make it customizableAll toolbars into 1 ribbon, and make it customizable (which side it sits, what to show). The toolbars take up too much work space. The left hand floating toolbar is always in the way of text. Most of the tools I dont use (I just click on the toold button when I want to use tools). 8 votes

Make Pan Tool Pan AgainA number of people continue to think it's a "bug" rather than a "feature" that the pan tool selects images & text by default in Acrobat DC. And they ought to be right, this is not a desirable feature for a pan tool, vice a select tool. In fact, it's why you have a select tool in the first place: to select images & text. Pan tools PAN, as allow you to navigate through the document by clicking & dragging. This feature is literally defeated by having it select images and text when you click & drag. As such, it… 6 votes

EraserThe program needs an eraser (I've been telling Adobe techs this for years) If you need an example, download a trial version of Bluebeam Revu. Take a look at their crop, eraser, cut and flatten tools. You guys need to step up your game! 18 votes

Allow hiding of the "To do" signature requests on the Recent screen. There does not appear to be a way to hide the new "To do" signature requests section at the top of the newly redesigned Recent window. Please allow us to hide this section as it's in the way and annoying. Thanks 1 vote

Bug: Cannot save data to form fields completed in Acrobat DC, even with "Enable more tools" option turned on.After completing an editable form with no restrictions and fillable fields in Acrobat DC, the data typed into the fields does not save. The form is blank when the document is saved and then reopened. Even when "Save as Other" --> "Reader Extended PDF" --> "Enable More Tools" is turned on, the data in the fields cannot be saved. This is a frustrating and time-consuming issue since users must complete the form, and if there are any errors, must then complete the entire form over again from scratch. I have now wasted more than two hours total completing a… 2 votes

pinning marquee zoommarquee zoom is a critical tool that should be accessible from the quick access tools or pinned somewhere on a tool bar. in the new update on windows 11 this is not possible and marquee zoom can only be activated from the drilling down through the drop down menu each time you need to use it, which is constant for me. in general this release makes it very difficult to set up the interface for efficient use in different work flows. other tools like the print snapshot seem to just be gone. print snapshot is another very useful tool that… 13 votes

Quick tool icons are TOO BIGQuick tool icons are TOO BIG - In Adobe X I was able to fit ALL of my Quick Tools across the top, now you've apparently optimized the program for tablets and there is no way to make the Quick Tool icons small enough which creates TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY CLICKING. WHY do you assume that everyone needs these GIGANTIC icons? Why can't we reduce the size or the "padding" around them? It's beyond annoying. 4 votes

Quick access tool bar icons in COLORThe quick tool icons were changed after Acrobat X during the overhaul of Acrobat's UI to DC and beyond. One of them was to make the tools in the quick access all GRAY, and eliminate their COLOR unil the pointer hovers over it. This was a terrible decision and backwards step from a usability standpoint. Humans interact in their environment by perceiving things in color, lots of colors, and rely on color to understand and navigate the world. While shape outlines are one point of information to understand what a thing is, color adds considerable information to that mental processing… 5 votes

Brilliant idea: let users customize their interfaceI don't want the forced tools on top, including Home, Tools, Document, and several of the page display icons. I'm a genius and I'll offer a brilliant idea: let users customize their own screen! When the window isn't maximized, there's insufficient room for all the tools, and the default unwanted ones prevent the ones I need from being displayed! When the + and - zoom icons aren't shown, they're also not even listed behind the 3-bullet icon on the far right! This is obviously a bug. It's further difficult since Acrobat refuses to zoom when using Ctrl-scroll on… 12 votesHi, The zoom icons appear fine in toolbar

User Interface and Navigation Layout is terribleI HATE the new layout of the Acrobat PRO, it is the most frustrating layout. I have been using Acrobat for YEARS and everytime there is an update it gets worse and worse. There is nothing intuitive about the layout of the tools or that you have icons with no words to express what they stand for. I liked having the menu bar across the top. Please at least give us an option of how to go back to the old style! My workflow is constantly interrupted to have to figure things out! 130 votes

Highlight and Adding Text workflow is cumbersomeI often highlight and add text to PDFs. The current workflow is cumbersome, especially when I need to switch from one feature to other. Given that it's a premium product, I find that there are just so many unnecessary toolbar options visible while the tools I need often require multiple clicks and cumbersome navigation. I often find myself hiding all toolbars left, top and right. Worst part is app doesn't remember my settings so I have to hide these toolbars everytime. Would be nice to have a student mode which provides a light mode version, allowing highlighting and adding/deleting text. 3 votes

Why can't we resize the contextual tools menu when using the prepare forms toolWhen using prepare forms tool the right sidebar that lists the tab order for fillable fields is too small (20 characters max) and the only way to reorder tab order is by drag and drop. Consequently, you drag something but you can not read the place that you are dragging to. Fix the right sidebar where it is resizable. 2 votes
