  4. Steps to Reproduce:
    1. open acrobat DC
    2. create a PDF from file.
    3. save file
    4. check the original file to see if it has retained it's format and is properly openable.

    Environment:
    OS: Windows 10
    CPU: Intel i5 6600k @4.3GHz
    RAM: 16gb(2x8gb) G-skill Trident-z @3000MHz
    Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 gaming 5

    Acrobat Version: 2015.023.20070

    Expected result:
Doing this should bring up a new save dialogue, or the save-as dialogue technically. Then once it is saved it should switch to that file.

    Observed Result:
Doing this overwrote the original file w/o providing a save dialogue.

  6. I am a registered user/owner of Acrobat Pro DC – 2015 Release (Classic) Version 2015.006.30418

    Adobe Case Number ADB-2045549-L4R2

I would very much like to be able to adjust the gap or spacing between images or pages in a multi-page PDF document such that one image does not follow on so closely to the proceeding image.

Single page view does not work for PDF files viewed in browsers so scrolling pages are always closely grouped together. Please enable this capability.

This pdf file shows what I want to be able to do: http://tinyurl.com/y9we7btt

  7. If I want to print a file from any program (anyway Microsoft Word or any picture or any drawing from my CAD Programm) with the printer "adobe.pdf" as pdf, it always produces a portrait format-pdf, even if the original file is in cross-format. Attached files as sample.
    Maybe it is a bug?

    Hi,

While printing you have to select Landscape mode.
Go to ‘File>Print>Printer Properties>Layout>Orientation’ select Lanscape.

    Best Regards!

  8. Currently there is no support for dark mode on reader, To simulate dark mode like experience we have to change settings in Preferences -> Accessibility -> Replace Document Colors. If we select the 'Replace Document Colors' option and in that we select 'Use High-Contrast Colors' and check the 'Change the color of line art as well as text', the bookmarks text color also switches to dark making it unreadable.

    Adding screenshots for your reference.

  9. Dear Acrobat,
Please listen to customers and stop alienating them. People become dependent on your product through work, then you switch up things and worsen the lives of untold numbers of people. You deserve to lose income in a large scale as a result, faster instead of slower. Stop harming customers. Start making it easer to give you feedback. Start paying attention to it. By making things confusing and harder, your product deserves to lose in the market. But you are leveraging your existing market position to hurt people instead.

  10. It would be helpful to allow users to be able to select from different highlighting options for search results (bolded, color options, highlighting entire search result). I have a very difficult time detecting the slight shift from black to blue. A better option would be a brighter color (selectable) highlight of the entire word, instead of shifting just the color of the text.

  11. It used to work fine until a couple of weeks ago. Now I get the following popup "Adobe Acrobat cannot start the image editing application you've specified. Verify the image editing application location on the Content Editing panel in Preferences". I did as instructed...and added the path to MS Paint program. I restarted the Adobe DC several times, but keep getting the same popup. Every time I go to check the Preferences, it shows the correct path. Adobe just fails to open MS Paint.

  15. When I search for text on the page, the "highlight" that indicates the presence of that word on the page is IMPOSSIBLE to see. We need some way of really making text STAND OUT. For, example, in the image below I've searched for the word "chair." Can YOU see it? (hint: 22.18)

  16. The purpose of this is to allow you to search through PDF files that have been scanned via Adobe Scan on your laptop computer by means of Mac OS spotlight or other searching programs on your local computer. Currently it is cumbersome to search through multiple PDFs that have been added to your Adobe Documents Cloud Folder. You can only search using Adobe DC (because they are only in the cloud unless you copy each one to a local folder individually). It would also make it significantly easier to create parent folders for Topics of documents within the cloud folder…

  17. In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC's Prepare Form mode, before one of the more recent updates, I could click and drag my mouse over 1 or more interactive PDF form fields to select/modify and move them as desired.

When I wanted to click away/deselect them, the selected items would simply deselect no matter where I clicked (including existing text elements) and leave me in Prepare Form mode.

Now, when I attempt to deselect interactive fields by clicking on any element, such as text, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC takes me to Edit Text & Images mode.

    If I want to click…

  19. When we change the reading order in Accessibility of images in a scanned and OCR'd document, the image becomes a grey or white box and no longer shows the image if we move it in the reading order. If you move it back to the original location in the reading order, the grey box disappears. If you save it once the grey box appears, it's permanent. We have tried working with support and they've witnessed the issue happen. The open case may be under cheil@wooster.edu but I don't have the case number handy.
