1. Actually let me disable the "AI" "assistant"

   Please for the love of all that is sacred let me fully disable the "AI" "Assistant". It is neither AI, nor an assistant. It is not a useful feature to "generate a summary" of an invoice. It is not able to - in ANY way - generate a meaningful summary of a whitepaper that provides any more value than the author's abstract. And it most certainly cannot make light of a technical standard that I have to understand clause-for-clause in order to implement.

   The "disable" option in Preferences does not actually seem to disable it and every 3rd time I open the app the option has either unticked itself or the "AI" "assistant" has ignored it and appeared anyway, resulting in the application running slower than ever and having multiple clutter windows that I have to immediately close to see the document I want.

   "AI" is a fad and will be tidied away soon, so please be the frontrunner in this regard.

3. Federated ID: How can we tell Acrobat DC to sign users in automatically? (SSO)

   How can we tell Acrobat to automatically sign the user in? Right now, when the user opens Acrobat the first time, they're asked to sign in, click "sign in with an enterprise ID", type their email address, etc. before they can actually use the SSO piece.

   Our users log on to their PCs with the same identity the federated ID will use. Is there a registry key or deployment option we can set that will attempt to sign in with the logged in user's identity? We're trying to make this as seamless as possible for our users.

5. Provide Option to Hide Welcome / Home /Startup Screen

   My Acrobat Pro DC opens automatically when I boot my Mac.
   Each time I have to close the annoying start-up screen where the last documents are displayed. I don’t need it! Please provide an option again to disable this feature as it where in past versions of Acrobat. Thank you.

6. Export to Microsoft Word

   1. Open a PDF document with Arabic content.

   2. This PDF was generated from InDesign CC2017. Arabic fonts used is a good True Type and OpenType fonts. Macintosh 10.11.2 / Acrobat DC Build: 15.23.20056.213124

   3. When exporting to MS Office format, we expect to have a decent conversion as we see with PDFs that has English content.

   4. I opened resulted Word document in MS. Word on Windows, Text Edit on Mac, Apple Preview. The result varies, but generally Arabic text doesn't convert properly, most words scrambled and fragmented.

7. AI Summary banner "x" does not work. I do not want to see this banner and the feature for removing it is not working. I do not want an AI su

   The "x" button for getting rid of the AI Summary feature is not working. This is dumb. It takes up space. It's distracting. I don't want to use AI if I don't have to because (a) there are real privacy concerns that have not been ameliorated, and (b) the amount of energy consumption is wasteful and bad for the environment. I want my kids to have a chance to live in a world where most people have access to clean water, and AI is like 10,000 steps backwards on this. One inquiry in ChatGPT for example, uses several 16 oz bottles of water that can never be purified. AI is in that way so insulting and terrible, yet every program is pushing it in our faces like it's harmless. It's not harmless. These banners are distracting. The button to get rid of them does not work, and further, it should be easier to disable it completely or at least disable the pop-ups. Get it out of here. I'm not paying $21.99/month to be served ads by my software for how to more quickly destroy the environment. outrageous.

9. Feature request: Resize page feature

   I don't know how this happened, but I exported a print out of a web page that was sized at 8.5x11 as a PDF, and when I opened the PDF in Adobe DC, somehow the page size turned into 13.17x16.78, and now when I print the PDF, it cuts out everything on the page that is outside of the 8.5x11 paper size. I have been trying and trying to just resize the PDF to 8.5x11, but I can't find this feature anywhere - and I've really been looking hard! So if there was a way you could add a feature that would allow people to resize that page size of their PDFs, I think that would be really useful, and from reading the message boards, I think a lot of people would be happy about it if you did that.

    Allow admins to disable Generative AI from the admin portal. It is absolutely ridiculous to release anything related to LLM without an option to disable it across users.

14. PDF Maker: New Bug puts <Figure> tags in the wrong reading order

    Affects Windows Office users who use Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker (the Acrobat ribbon) to export PDFs from MS Office apps. Definitely affects US English versions, and may affect other language versions.

    With the recent Acrobat update on either Sept. 12 or Oct. 17, 2023 (Acrobat ver. 23.006.xxxxx with PDF Maker 23 and Library 23.6.136), figures anchored in the Word.docx file do not end up in the correct location in the PDF's tag tree.

    <Figure> tags are scattered randomly throughout the PDF's Tag Tree, sometimes several pages AFTER their anchor point in the Word.docx. Some <Figure> tags do get placed correctly in the Tag Tree, but the majority don't. (See the 3rd photo in the attached test PDF.)

    This is a very OLD bug that has just resurfaced to haunt us again. It was common in all PDFs exported from Word up until about 2015 or so. I don't have a clue why this *&^%$#@! bug is back in PDF Maker.

    Solutions:

    — Do not update Acrobat until Adobe releases a bug fix. And turn off AutoUpdate in your account management.

    — If your Acrobat was updated to version 23.006.xxxxx and now has the bug, then bypass Adobe PDF Maker entirely and use Microsoft's built-in PDF export utility to create accessible PDFs: File / Save As / PDF and check the option to tag the PDF file. This method places the <Figure> tags in the correct location in the Tag Tree. We have a free tutorial about this method at https://www.pubcom.com/blog/tutorials/ms-office/export-pdf/index.shtml

    Note: Sandbox test of Word 365.docx + Exported PDF are attached.

    This bug needs a critical hotfix as soon as possible. It's a lot of labor to locate where the <Figure> was placed in the tag tree and then move it manually into the correct location. On long documents with hundreds of graphics, it takes nearly a day to correct this by hand.

15. Very confuse about the new acrobat

    I almost got a heart attack. I was working on a pdf, then I opened a new document and the Acrobat interface was completely different.

    I use Acrobat every day and the new interface is too different from the old one. Tools are difficult to find because they have been placed somewhere else.

    I definitely don't have time to learn how to use a new software. I didn't not appreciate to be face to this suddent change without any warning.

    It would be better to give user the option to customize the left and right pannels. If it's already possible, please make it easier to figure out.

    I finally found how to reverse it, but i am very disapointed. Hope that I will be able to keep the old interface. Because if I have to learn how to use a new software, I'll go for a cheaper option.

16. New Acrobat Interface is awful

    PLEASE....please.....don't ever disable or fail to support the "Disable New Acrobat" in View. The new interface is awful and there is no real support for it. Took me a half-hour to figure out "find and replace" and still didn't get it to work well. Stamps are in a bad place.

    All ok as long as this isn't forced on us until a LARGE volume of help and online answers to questions builds up...like in 2026.

17. Blinking Forms

    Form endlessly blinks, the text does not show properly as you are typing, very slow if you try to suffer through and use it anyway (color wheel appears after a few clicks). This is only an issue on my new MacBook Pro (M1 with Big Sur). My 2015 iMac with Catalina does not have the same issue.

18. Possibility to remove the AI assistant

    Why don't you already have an option to remove AI assistant? I don't see why it's mandatory, we should have the choice of using it or not. Personally I don't want it, I don't need it, the button is distracting and it causes malfunction. I'm not lazy or dumb, I can work as I've always have by using my brain and not an artificial intelligence that causes dumbness and pollutes !! Keep the AI for really important matters when it's needed. It's ridiculous to add it for everyone, even for thoses who don't need it, it's pollution for nothing!

    Like every other service, Adobe as well keeps making things increasingly difficult for people who are not neurotypical. Like this new AI button that SCREAMS in the right corner. Because of these kind of features, using these services (of which we pay a great deal for) is getting almost impossible. I really would appreciate the developers to take into account people whose brain simply does not work in a way that ignoring that HUGE colourful button in the corner is possible. Now that it is there, I cannot use Adobe Acrobat anymore without sticking a sticker to my computer screen that hides that button. But since I do not have the option to do it at the moment, I am forced to look for alternative solutions, which leads to unnecessary work and might postpone my work by several hours. At least give an option to hide these hideous buttons.

    And when it comes to the AI thing itself, who wants to use AI in EVERY SINGLE SERVICE anyway? Could it be optional? I, for example, really do not need an AI assistant to read my PDFs.

20. Send monthly Creative Cloud invoices to my email automatically

    I know how to access my invoices but it is a hassle, time consuming and easy to forget.

    Please send me my invoices by email automatically.

    I shouldn't have to log into my creative cloud account, find my latest invoice and click an email me button. Creative Cloud should send me my invoice automatically.

    Adobe is able to send me tips, marketing information and other rubbish automatically but the one thing I want, it can't do.

    The people reviewing these messages seem to think it is smart to ignore requests by many hundreds of people or even to merge it with a solution that is not the solution.

    Why does Adobe like to do things to make me angry rather than to make me like Adobe? Anyway, it will be interesting to see how long this lasts before it is merged with the non solution.
