  4. Acrobat's export of PDF files in Arabic language to any Microsoft Office format does not properly handle right-to-left languages. I know numerous people have complained about this for a number of years and no action has been taken to solve this issue. The export feature is useless in the Arabic region if it does not support the conversion of PDF files in Arabic content.

  6. We discovered a word that need to be replaced during our final pdf output from Framemaker so we edited the pdf. Once we copied the Arabic word from our excel spread sheet the entire book became corrupted by scrambling letters, changing font appearances and reversing parenthesis and other characters. Need this fixed.

  7. I'm copying below from my post on the Adobe Community forum…

Since Acrobat Pro had services on the cloud and was named Document Cloud back in 2015, we mostly tell our staff and clients using Acrobat to avoid setting the Language to "English يدعم العربية", meaning don't set your Acrobat to Arabic as seen in the screenshot below, we rather tell all users to change the Language to English so we can all enjoy cloud services such as E-sign, sharing files, and Fill & Sign.

On this Adobe forums, I read quite a few complaints…

  8. Ok here is the issue,

When I edit PDF file using Arabic text, everything ( to some extent is fine )
But if I just saved the file, then try to edit it again
( i.e. Change font, Change Color, Change size, edit the text it self )

Arabic letters would just go wrong, attached an image showing the issue.

I noticed that this only happen if ( Tashkeel ) is used.

I had the same issue on both Machines : Mac OS & Windows 10.

Also PDF attached with an example,
if you just tried to change the Text…

  11. To whom it may concern,
I noticed that fill and sign tool is not provided in Adobe Acrobat Reader
specifically in the version English supporting Arabic; so I chatted with
technical representative who admitted that this tool has not provided yet to the mentioned version and they worked on it. I also asked him/her when he/she expected to be added; so he/she suggested
to fill this form to see this suggestion. I hope to support this idea, please. Thank you

    1. Open a PDF document with Arabic content.

    2. This PDF was generated from InDesign CC2017. Arabic fonts used is a good True Type and OpenType fonts. Macintosh 10.11.2 / Acrobat DC Build: 15.23.20056.213124

    3. When exporting to MS Office format, we expect to have a decent conversion as we see with PDFs that has English content.

    4. I opened resulted Word document in MS. Word on Windows, Text Edit on Mac, Apple Preview. The result varies, but generally Arabic text doesn't convert properly, most words scrambled and fragmented.

  12. After re-installing Adobe Pro due to problems with crashing, when adding text to a PDF document, typing a colon or number would result in the digits moving to the left of all the text and appearing in a non-English font. On googling the issue, I found a thread referring to the fact that the Language default in Preferences may be set to "English with Arabic support" with all options for "Editing in Middle Eastern Languages" toggled on. This was the case for me and I reset the Application Language Preference to Same as operating system and toggled the Middle Eastern…

  18. Default browsing method is from past, text roll what was used in churches and squeres for the news and informing new things, laws etc.
For arabic text bacward and reguar browsing method, horisontal, it can be used mouse too but easyly by arrow keys. Now horisontal and vertical are mixup, it causes disfunktion in brain, when you read a book you say forward but in computer you say down, it doesent make sense because in european culture down is back and up is forward, how we understand things. Past is left and future right, at computer same book is backward:…

Due to lack of clarity we are closing this.

  19. In Acrobat Pro DC, when adding a new Digital ID, there is an attribute 'Email'. Please allow all email addresses in that field. Do not arbitrarily limit characters in email addresses to: a-z A-Z 0-9 . @ - _

Today I want to use an address, from+dsig@example.com, using a '+' character. This is perfectly legal in my email address, and I should be able to use it in a digital ID.

Beyond that, email addresses are no longer limited to a subset of ASCII Latin letters. Addresses in many scripts are now legal, e.g. Hindi ईमेल-परीक्षण@सार्वभौमिक-स्वीकृति-परीक्षण.संगठन or Arabic
    تجربة-بريد-الكتروني@تجربة-القبول-الشامل.موريتانيا…
