  1. I've just been updated to the latest Acrobat DC for Windows. It claims to have improved sharing and collaboration options,but this is not good for me. I really miss the mail icon on the toolbar leading giving me a direct option to email the file.

    AND WHY CAN I ONLY ADD 1 BLANK PAGE AT A TIME??
    WHY CANNOT I NOT ADD A DUPLICATE PAGE??
    "EDIT" SHOULD PERMIT ME TO EDIT "EXISTING TEXT!'
    "ADD TEXT" SHOULD PERMIT ME TO WRITE TEXT ANY LOCATION ON THE PAGE I WANT. EVEN WRITE OVER EXISTING TEXT..
    LIKE BEFORE.. NOT NOW!

BUG - When using the Add Text Comment icon within the left menu bar, copying and pasting normal English text characters from a previously saved .pdf file creates illegible Cyrillic characters in new .pdf paste destination??!! Previous version of Adobe Acrobat has "PASTE PLAIN TEXT" feature (as all the logical Microsoft Office suite products have). Copying & pasting basic file and accounting information on monthly invoices from the last month to the next month. Please have qualified software developer/engineer reincorporate "PASTE PLAIN TEXT".

  5. New Acrobat Pro DC version no longer allows dragging the pdf icon from the top bar in directly into email.

    Instead one must hit "share", WAIT..., then click "Send as attachment" then click "continue" to let it use the native email, then WAIT, then drag the pdf from that newly created email into the intended email.

  10. Sometimes I receive a file with a single set of different pages(Let's say 5 pages). My customer wants 31 sets. I'd like to select the five, highlight and right click and chose "Copy as set?", then once I do this, a dialog box comes up and asks, "How many would you like?" I would chose 31 and it would duplicate 31 sets. It would change the page count from 5 pages to 155 pages. Thank you!

  11. The icon / link on the TOols page which lead to the Merge Data into Spreadsheet dialogue has suddenly disappeared from my cop of Acobat Pro 2017. How can I get it back? I can access the function by loading a form and then using the 'Edit' command, but two weeks agao there was a tool icon available.

    You can use the following steps to
    > Right Click on the Tools bar and select "Customize Quick Tools.
    >Navigate to “Prepare Form” > More Form Options
    > Click on the “Add to toolbar” button.
    > Click Save.

    You should now have the “Merge Data into Spreadsheet” as a drop down options now.

  12. When I have a heading that can be duplicated but a list of names that are different I run into an issue. The names I populate on the first page will automatically appear on the second page. Then when I change the names on the second page it will change the names on the first.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting the issue. I tried and observed that the issue is happening when you perform a Save As operation and not on a direct Save operation. Also the issue seems specific to this file.

    You can try this workaround if it helps. In the meanwhile we are looking into this issue and will inform you once we have new updates.

  14. When I have a PDF open in Adobe and then try and press the "Print" icon Adobe crashes and I'm unable to print. I have tried deleting and re-installing Adobe multiple times and I have checked to make sure that my computer is up to date on all software updates.

  15. The old version of Adobe was easy, you right click and put an icon for the program on the computer desktop. With this version there does not seem to be a way to do this. I have to go to the start program and hunt for Adobe in my list of apps.

  17. When creating a comment with richt-click
    - create the comment-icon in the center of the click
    ... not below the top-left corner of the comment-icon
    ... I think this is much more intuitive for organising your lay-out of comments.

  18. There is no point to adjusting "Automatically save document changes to temporary file every _ minutes." I have it set to 1 minute, but when Acrobat crashed, it recovered the document I started with over an hour ago-no saves since I started. This happens regularly, regardless if I save local or to Adobe cloud storage.
    If I have to duplicate the time spent compiling my study notes, I might as well go back to physical printouts that save in real time, and scan to make searchable if needed.

  19. I hate it when you do updates and move or change the set up of toolbars etc. Please give us a choice to keep the old format or change to the new. I hate that the toolbar is no longer at the top. Icons are too small for older people to see. Bad, Bad, Bad. Disappointed in the "updates".

    Although I am given an opportunity to revert to the old version, it does not happen when I close the app and restart without administrator access, which ads another layer with the IT department.

  20. Dear Adobe:

    Please redesign the icon graphic for the "insert page" button in Acrobat. Right now, the icon looks too similar to the "extract page" icon, and does not seem to match the action that it causes. This is confusing and makes the software less intuitive.

    The "insert page" icon shows an arrow that originates in the center of a single page and points outside of that page. This suggests that something is being taken OUT of the page/document, when in fact the "insert" action is exactly the opposite. In other words, the arrow should originate from outside of the…
