  2. The new update makes setting up e-sign document much more time consuming.
It doesnt read the fields like it used to and auto create the fields or assign them the correct type.

Now i have to click to create a field and also change the date format on each field.. there isnt a default setting i can switch to

  3. Whatever changes made up the most recent update has ruined my user experience. Every action I try to take encounters an error message. Please advise how I undo the most recent update to get back to some semblance of a useful tool.

  4. I want to remove some of the tool or change their order but the «default» tools cannot be change. For example, for me I never use the signature tool so it is annoying to always have this tool in my bar.

I also agree with other comments I saw that the tool bar should not overlap the content of the PDf.

  5. We need to set PDFs to open in the browser, however, sometimes the user needs to edit these (such as using Fill & Sign). In this case, the user clicks Fill & Sign, and they are told to download the file and open it.

It would be far easier if the toolbar that's visible when a user opens a PDF in the browser has a simple button where they could open it in whatever app they had set as the default for PDFs (Acrobat Professional, or Reader). Perhaps a button called "Open in Acrobat"

  6. When a document is sent through Adobe Sign to someone who doesn't use Adobe products, they are presented with the web interface that shows the document to sign. The pop-over warning about cookies (or asking for cookie storage permission) appears at the top of the page, but doesn't prevent the signer from finding and completing the signature field. (i.e. it can, and may be, ignored)

After putting their signature into the field, the person feels that they have completed the process, because the 'Finish' button is covered by the cookie notice. There does not appear to be anything more to…

  7. The field view is entirely too small to manually edit tab order. This should either be a separate pane or perhaps a pop-out window. I easily have over 100 fields on one page and it's impossible to order them as I need to (by column, within a section or rows of fields). Default tab ordering structures (By Row, By Column) are not useful here. Need more flexibility to set tab order manually.

  8. Editing auto generated form text fields for a long document is a NIGHTMARE.

why on earth would i have to MANNUALY change EACH and every field?

what's the use of the preferences being set to a font i prefer for it just to be reverted back to Helvetica?

Either you unify the font preferences or just make a section for form preparation font to allow us to choose for it as well

it's insane that i have to waste so much time editing tons of fields on just switching fonts when a simple solution of a "one button click" is…

  9. I am visually impaired and have implemented the Windows accessibility features that allow me to make my mouse pointer dark, inverted and larger, so that I can more easily locate the cursor on the page. However in Adobe Acrobat DC, your default cursor does not allow this Windows feature to carry over. Honestly it is terrible and should really be fixed to be at least darker, larger and bold so that visually impaired clientele can use your products.

  10. Bug Report. 10/14/18 Windows 10 update 1803 broke the ability to assign adobe as the default app for .tif files. I can assign any other offered app (paint, sketch, photo). I had to do a system restore to revert back to temporarily correct this issue.

  11. Hi,

I am using the Adobe scan app and the scans are uploaded to document cloud. I can see and open the files from within Acrobat Pro 2017 in the Document Cloud section. However, when I click on the "Adobe Scan" category under file lists, it tells me that this folder is empty. But shouldn't the Adobe Scan files be shown here? This seems like a bug to me.

  12. Adobe Acrobat does not have this feature available yet.

    ie: https://cloud.acrobat.com/send

    Needs the following features online:

Preview GIF animations & Preview videos online.
Right now you can only view content as a static JPG you have to download all assets in order for the client to preview files.

This creates a redundant step for a client especially if they are not tech savvy.

Gifs have to be reopened with a browser & videos need to be viewed on the clients video player.

If the link is already online not understanding why you need to download & reopen in a browser…

  13. Is there a way to disable the bookmarks pane from opening by default on Mac? I've seen people edit the registry on Windows computers to achieve this but haven't been able to find a similar solution for Mac.

  14. In 2020, Adobe claimed to have provided a fix. But did only half of it. Only for files with existing comments was the Comments toolbar automatically opened.
But I mark students' scripts all day long. And for every one I have to open the comments toolbar.
Why cannot I choose to have the comments toolbar automatically opened (or not, or if there are existing comments)?
Or do you get a cut from RSI physiotherapists?

  15. Third time this week. Working on an existing PDF with commenting tools, and when I go to save, I get the message that the file cannot be saved. Try to save as, as suggested, and get the message that there's a file error, then the text of the file disappears. (Spread in screenshot is two solid pages of text.)

  16. Ai feature removal requests aside, the f4 key is muscle memory for me to get to the Pages sidebar. Having to use the extra click to get out of the AI assistant panel and to the Pages panel that I want, is frustrating. And cumulatively, a time-suck. Feels like user-hostile UI practices.

As a side note, like many, I do not use the AI features in Acrobat. Please serve customers and not stockholders.

  17. The default layout of the comment tools menu has changed significantly in the new version of Adobe Acrobat DC and finding how to add functions like strikethrough and replace to the banner menu is not easy. This is frustrating for editors and typesetters who have to explain to authors how to proofread their galley proofs. Previously, I simply had to explain how to use Acrobat's comments function. Now, I'll have to explain to them how to find the menu to change the tools that appear on the banner, which is hard enough to figure out because it's just a bunch…

  18. Please add a function to set the page size when creating a PDF form. By default, when you create a form, a Letter-sized page opens, and I need A4. Scaling during printing does not suit me, since the form fields are located in certain coordinates and slide during printing. It is strange that such a function was not done initially.

  19. I open and fill out a PDF on my desktop with Adobe DC. When I select Send and Track or to Send for signature, I get an error message

Send and Track: "Error uploading files
One or more files could not be uploaded. Please try again."

Send for Signature: "Could not Send
An error has occurred. Please try again."

I can go to "https://cloud.acrobat.com/send" and upload the file there, then send and track, but not from Adobe DC. I am using Windows 10 and Chrome Browser if it makes a difference.
