Printing locally from Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has never worked despite multiple "fixes"
I have CC full suite and from the day I had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have been unable to print locally from any open PDF. I have tried multiple fixes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've updated the printer drivers and had my IT support look at it. And now that this program is embedded in everything, I can't event go back to Acrobat XI. If I'm lucky I can export the PDF as an image or word document and print from there, but if I'm looking at document that's large that is just simply…

Invert colours on images embedded in pdf files.
Invert colours on images embedded in pdf files.
Hi
I'm visually impaired. I find anything with a white background unreadable.
I can change text and text background colours to make text readable but I cannot find a method to change colours used in images embedded in pdf files.
Please can you add an accessibility option to invert colours in embedded images so black becomes white and white becomes black. NB. All colours will need to be inverted not just black and white.

Acrobat CC excessive Ram usage
Acrobat CC has suddenly started using excessive amounts of RAM to the point that it is paused and has to be quit and restarted. This also happens if left alone with no files open.
Having pitstop plugin open or not makes no difference. This is on an imac retina 5k late 2014 with 16gbs ram and only started happening Sept 1 2017, Acrobat CC has been installed for at least a year with no issues (and other versions before that have not had this issue).
The RAM usage seems to increase much more quickly if it is an image heavy…33 votesThanks for the update Jan. Glad to know that your problem is resolved.

replace text in commenting copies the text int my comment
Please make the pop-up open without text. If I want them to replace the text, why would that text come into the comment pop-up? Please, change all the highlighted and replace text pop-ups so they have not copy in them.

Even after removing text layer, Acrobat refuses ClearScan OCR because "page contains renderable text."
Even after I remove the hidden text layer in a PDF, I'm still not able to run an OCR with "ClearScan" (i.e. "Editable Text and Images"). It's strange because the text layer appears to be gone, yet running OCR produces the error "Acrobat could not perform recognition because: page contains renderable text."

Can you please share the exact steps so that we can understand the issue completely?
Also, Did you try the steps mentioned earlier?Regards,

"Unified" 64-bit Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC isn't really unified
Tl;dr: The new 64-bit version of Acrobat should work as Reader when not logged-in/assigned a license.
In the era of work-from-home we now have all of our users logging into a multi user terminal server.
On this server we recently installed the 64-bit version of Adobe since it's where the industry is moving to; however, we then discovered that once Adobe "upgrades" itself from Reader mode to Acrobat mode all of our reader only users cannot access the product.
Since it is not possible to install both the 64-bit version of Acrobat and Reader, since they install to the same…

PREVENT ACROBAT FROM STEALING FOCUS WHEN BINDING PDF FILES
USING WINDOWS 10, WHEN BINDING PDF FILES, ACROBAT GRABS FOCUS FROM ANY OTHER PROGRAM, FOR EACH PDF FILE BOUND.
THIS MEANS THE COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE UNTIL ACROBAT FINISHES THE BINDING PROCESS.
WHEN BINDING LARGE NUMBERS OF FILES THIS PROCESS CAN TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES.
PLEASE DISABLE THIS FOCUS GRABBING BEHAVIOUR.

Saving a file created from an Illustrator file overwrites that file instead of opening a new save dialogue.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open acrobat DC
2. create a PDF from file.
3. save file
4. check the original file to see if it has retained it's format and is properly openable.Environment:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel i5 6600k @4.3GHz
RAM: 16gb(2x8gb) G-skill Trident-z @3000MHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 gaming 5Acrobat Version: 2015.023.20070
Expected result:
Doing this should bring up a new save dialogue, or the save-as dialogue technically. Then once it is saved it should switch to that file.Observed Result:
Doing this overwrote the original file w/o providing a save dialogue.I have attached…

stop changing and making it harder to use the same ******* product
Dear Acrobat,
Please listen to customers and stop alienating them. People become dependent on your product through work, then you switch up things and worsen the lives of untold numbers of people. You deserve to lose income in a large scale as a result, faster instead of slower. Stop harming customers. Start making it easer to give you feedback. Start paying attention to it. By making things confusing and harder, your product deserves to lose in the market. But you are leveraging your existing market position to hurt people instead.11 votes -

Remove the relation between bookmarks text color and page color.
Currently there is no support for dark mode on reader, To simulate dark mode like experience we have to change settings in Preferences -> Accessibility -> Replace Document Colors. If we select the 'Replace Document Colors' option and in that we select 'Use High-Contrast Colors' and check the 'Change the color of line art as well as text', the bookmarks text color also switches to dark making it unreadable.
Adding screenshots for your reference.

Editable Search Highlighting
It would be helpful to allow users to be able to select from different highlighting options for search results (bolded, color options, highlighting entire search result). I have a very difficult time detecting the slight shift from black to blue. A better option would be a brighter color (selectable) highlight of the entire word, instead of shifting just the color of the text.

Put images from PDF into a PPr or after effect composition.
I feel that like bridge's ability to talk to other adobe programs, acrobat should be as simple as dragging an image from one program to another.

wrong pdf format
If I want to print a file from any program (anyway Microsoft Word or any picture or any drawing from my CAD Programm) with the printer "adobe.pdf" as pdf, it always produces a portrait format-pdf, even if the original file is in cross-format. Attached files as sample.
Maybe it is a bug?2 votesHi,
While printing you have to select Landscape mode.
Go to ‘File>Print>Printer Properties>Layout>Orientation’ select Lanscape.Best Regards!

adjust the gap or spacing between images
I am a registered user/owner of Acrobat Pro DC – 2015 Release (Classic) Version 2015.006.30418
Adobe Case Number ADB-2045549-L4R2
I would very much like to be able to adjust the gap or spacing between images or pages in a multi-page PDF document such that one image does not follow on so closely to the proceeding image.
Single page view does not work for PDF files viewed in browsers so scrolling pages are always closely grouped together. Please enable this capability.
This pdf file shows what I want to be able to do: http://tinyurl.com/y9we7btt
