  2. The ff ligature does not render in semibold Adobe Garamond Pro. It produces what looks like a little capital 'I'. Bold works, but not semibold. I'm using Adobe Acrobat 2017.

  3. Hi, today I tested a PDF with an OCR layer with the Czech language, that when I copy the text in Adobe Reader (tested on the current 2025.001.20531 and today's version 20566) czech version) and if I paste the copied text from the OCR layer into Word, it does not correctly recognize the characters (ýáíé) and instead it produces characters without commas (yaie), other programs like PDF Xchange can read this layer correctly and completely without problems with commas above the letters. I think it can correctly recognize the letters with brackets above the letters. In Adobe Reader, Czech is…

  5. Once I have uploaded the image of my signature in the Fill & Sign tool, it's not more possible to remove it. Clicking the "X" button doesn't work. I've closed and re-opened Adobe DC. I also tryed to reinstall it, but nothing.
After reinstallation if I uload again an image in the fill&sign tool, it's not possible to remove it.

  7. This is not so much an idea as it is a complaint that I'm not able to do what I use to with the old version.
I would like to be able to copy X,Y coordinates from a geospatial enabled PDF to clipboard with a mouse right click. When I right click, it doesn't give me this option. Please add it back.

  10. During the process of preparing a fillable form from a template, there are certain style attributes that have to be changed to meet my personal style preferences (e.g. font, check-box/radio-box options, form field attributes, and so on).

Performing these changes on simple forms is not a difficult task but, when dealing with an extensive (e.g. multi-page, multi-field type form) template, this process can be pain-stakeingly tedious and result in lack of continuity.

A feature which would allow the user to change the defaults in the Prepare Form feature so that the fillable form would be created with the user specified…

  11. I have CC full suite and from the day I had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have been unable to print locally from any open PDF. I have tried multiple fixes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've updated the printer drivers and had my IT support look at it. And now that this program is embedded in everything, I can't event go back to Acrobat XI. If I'm lucky I can export the PDF as an image or word document and print from there, but if I'm looking at document that's large that is just simply…

    HI Ginger,

Please provide the Acrobat / Reader version installed on your system. Also provide a sample PDF document on which you have observed this issue.

    Thanks
    Ritesh

  12. As you may know, Microsoft Word automatically creates a description for images in documents.

When you convert the word file to pdf with Adobe plugin (File -> Save as Adobe PDF) the conversion in Greek language is as in the picture while when the conversion is done with word (File -> Save as ->PDF) the conversion is done without any problem in the encoding.

Your company that created the PDF file format is a great shame to face such projections in the year 2024.

  13. It would be so helpful if Acrobat could do the math and overlay a Layout Grid with a particular number of subdivisions. Instead, currently, the user has to open preferences and put in the exact size of the subdivisions which is tricky when images are not whole number sizes.

  14. Please make the pop-up open without text. If I want them to replace the text, why would that text come into the comment pop-up? Please, change all the highlighted and replace text pop-ups so they have not copy in them.

  15. Invert colours on images embedded in pdf files.

    Hi

I'm visually impaired. I find anything with a white background unreadable.

I can change text and text background colours to make text readable but I cannot find a method to change colours used in images embedded in pdf files.

Please can you add an accessibility option to invert colours in embedded images so black becomes white and white becomes black. NB. All colours will need to be inverted not just black and white.

  16. USING WINDOWS 10, WHEN BINDING PDF FILES, ACROBAT GRABS FOCUS FROM ANY OTHER PROGRAM, FOR EACH PDF FILE BOUND.

THIS MEANS THE COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE UNTIL ACROBAT FINISHES THE BINDING PROCESS.

WHEN BINDING LARGE NUMBERS OF FILES THIS PROCESS CAN TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES.

PLEASE DISABLE THIS FOCUS GRABBING BEHAVIOUR.

  17. Tl;dr: The new 64-bit version of Acrobat should work as Reader when not logged-in/assigned a license.

In the era of work-from-home we now have all of our users logging into a multi user terminal server.

On this server we recently installed the 64-bit version of Adobe since it's where the industry is moving to; however, we then discovered that once Adobe "upgrades" itself from Reader mode to Acrobat mode all of our reader only users cannot access the product.

Since it is not possible to install both the 64-bit version of Acrobat and Reader, since they install to the same…

  18. Acrobat CC has suddenly started using excessive amounts of RAM to the point that it is paused and has to be quit and restarted. This also happens if left alone with no files open.
Having pitstop plugin open or not makes no difference. This is on an imac retina 5k late 2014 with 16gbs ram and only started happening Sept 1 2017, Acrobat CC has been installed for at least a year with no issues (and other versions before that have not had this issue).
The RAM usage seems to increase much more quickly if it is an image heavy…

  19. Even after I remove the hidden text layer in a PDF, I'm still not able to run an OCR with "ClearScan" (i.e. "Editable Text and Images"). It's strange because the text layer appears to be gone, yet running OCR produces the error "Acrobat could not perform recognition because: page contains renderable text."
