Critisicm on global development of Acrobat and Adobe
I think it is a very bad thing if a software manufacturer implements major changes such as the totally new design of acrobat pro. I didn't get any notic. it was just there. the handling is ****. Sorry but it is. My quick tool bar was gone. The tools wer gone to the left side. in Short: Without notifying the customer, it is a no go!

Can we have the old one back. This is too cumbersome.
So hard to use and wastes so much of my time looking for things.
I just need the preview/navigator on the side so I can rotate or crop and a highlighter in the tools and the hand to move the page around. Every time I open a file it defaults back to nothing I can use. Please bring back version 109 votes -
Highlighting in Read or Full Screen mode
How do I highlight test in Reading Mode or Full Screen mode? As far as I see, the highlighting tool (and probably many other tools) switch off in these screen modes and even the pin button does not change this.

Adjustable Graphic scale set for Measure tool.
As an architect or an engineer, we are always managing plans with different scales that have (usually) a graphic scale for reference. The measure tool would be EXTREMELY useful if includes an option to set the scale by selecting two points on an eventual graphic scale included within an existing pdf... this will help to quickly have the pdf in scale and ready to be measured.
Please, include this feature.

New Adobe
SINCE ITS NEW UPDATE ADOBE HAS BEEN MORE COMPREHENSIVE AND THIS TOOL BAR I WISH IT WERE ON TOP AS BEFORE AND NOT ON THE SIDE AND IT IS LESS VISIBLE. BESIDES, IT BECAME NOT USER FRIENDLY. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT ALL OF NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND IF THEY ARE GOOD FOR USERS. THEY DO NOT THINK THAT WE WANT EASY ACCESS TO TOOLS AND NOT SPENDING TIME TO SEARCH EVERY SINGLE TOOLS. Usability
My attempts to use Acrobat were the most frustrating experience of my 31 years on Macs. The program crashed constantly. Simple operations proved to be obtuse and non-intuitive and the layout of the tools, together with the process of interacting with the program, is very badly thought out. The tools page opens a page of cheesy icons resembling something from a children’s book, and why, for example, would anyone hide the ability to insert a rectangle under ‘comments’? Crazy.

Pin Certificates to toolbar/shortcut for Digital Signature
Is there a way to pin the Certificates toolbar, or at least the Digitally Sign button?
Each time I go to sign a document, I have to go into "More Tools" on the right hand side, and then click on Certificates.

Adobe has gone to sh!t
For month's I've been getting a small popup error EVERYTIME I open a pdf. I've followed the instructions provided but NOTHING ever fixed it. I don't know what the **** is going on at Adobe but I would have preferred they fixed errors FIRST.
Today I opened Acrobat and nothing looks the same. Some tools are in color, some are greyed out, No notice given and no list of the changes.
Is AI running the company now? If I had stock in Adobe I'd be giving it away right now. This market is prime for competition and I hope it…

Get rid of all the visual clutter on the interface.
The interface is way too cluttered. The top "toolbar" with "Home" and "Tools" and a feedback button is completely unnecessary. Stick those functions in the Mac Menu Bar and free up my screen real estate.

Stop Updating the Program
Please stop updating the program in such a difficult way that is almost impossible to determine were the functions are. Additionally this updates take A LOT of the screen view of the document when searching for tools. I have to use this every single day for work and constant document stamping and certifications. I do not have time to sit down and learn the entire layout of the program every time one of your developers feels like "impressing" his/her superior. STOP! We are paying for this! Bug on program start
Not being able to view participants in side pane when first opening the program.
Steps to reproduce and observed result:
Once the Acrobat Pro is open and I go to the agreements, I wait a moment for them to load. I click on one of the files to view the information pane to see which people are involved in that file to see who completed the form. bookmark
I never use Bookmark ... but here it is every time I start Reader (taking up half of the screen with my document scrunched down accordingly). Not to mention the nav buttons hiding down in the corner on a right-hand tool bar. Are you people mashugana?! It's like you've never seen a Windows nav tool bar (well, before the little morons "ribbonized" things).
How do I get rid of the auto-loading Bookmark panel?

Keyboard shortcut for "Go to next sticky note"
We need a keyboard shortcut for "go to the next sticky note." This would prevent my having to scroll through the comments pane if I have a lot of callouts and text boxes (in addition to sticky notes).
Sorting the comments doesn't work; I need to be able to see the text boxes and callouts as I'm reviewing the sticky notes.

Customize toolbar order
I understand engineers need to make a living, and therefore must come up with new and adventurous ways to "optimize" content. With the 23.001.20177 release of Pro tools are now delegated to one visible and one hidden list in the left sidebar. PDF standards are near the bottom of the hidden list. I use this all the time, so now I must go through multiple points and clicks to perform a task that was one click before. Put Text Select Tool on Standard Toolbar
Unfortunately Acrobat DC buries an important tool; the ability to select text. I believe it is hidden somewhere, but I have yet to find it. It is very common to want to select some text in a document. Why bury a common task deep within the program? There seems to be the trend these days with software to a have a minimalist interface and bury the most common tools. My toolbar has the least commonly used tools as standard.
