Allow resizing of side panel (tab order, etc.)
Please allow resizing/expansion of the side panel used for formatting and tab order, etc. There is a horizontal scroll bar on the bottom, but if you have longer field names, it is inconvenient to have to scroll back and forth. For those with wider monitors, this should be expandable horizontally or a pop-out window that is expandable.

Need Better Text Editor on Acrobat Uservoice
This box I'm typing in has no expansion triangle in the bottom right corner. Although it scrolls, the limited dimensions may be OK for ideas but are a hindrance for bug reporting. The entry space in the Acrobat Support Forums allows all the room one needs and allows the posting of images and video of anomalies. Yet the last couple of times I've reported a bug in Support, I've been redirected to re-report everything here and provide the Uservoice URL. If this is going to be a bug-reporting space as well as an "idea" space, it needs a full-featured editor.

Forms being returned to me blank
Created my form using Adobe DC/Pro. I send to my clients to complete, they complete it, but when they return it to me, I get it back blank

Acrobat Multi-line feature should not scale to fit til data input
For Multi-line fields, text input should not scale till width of field is reached and wraps to next line. Currently when creating a field set to text that Auto sizes, it scales to width of line and then starts getting smaler, then add multi-line to that and it should wrap to next line and only start scaling when the field is full and you can't fit any more text it visibly. BUG: Combine tool alters original text of PDFs to match 1 of the set.
When combining pdfs the binder file has altered the text of the originals to match on of the set.
The pdfs are similar format with pictures. The pictures remain unaltered, but the text is copied from one pdf to all the others that are similar.

Add "EIN" as a formatting option in Adobe Pro
Add "EIN" as a formatting option in Adobe Pro using > Edit pdf > More Tools > Prepare Form > (highlight field) Properties > Format - drop-down choices include Social Security Number, Zip Code, etc.
I had a field formatted using what shows as "Arbitrary Mask" but the formatting created an error which started recently. I did correct things but lost my tab order.2 votes -
Bug..Mac High Sierra - transparency option no longer available in properties for cells/appearance
I have been preparing forms and creating text boxes, check boxes etc for some time now.
Recently, I am unsure if was a recent update or because I have updated to highSierra on my mac, there is no longer a 'transparent' option available.

AcroForms VBA plugin does not correctly populate checkboxes when form contains XFA
Or rather, it populates the checkboxes correctly as far as the PDF side goes: it sets the /V and /AS of the checkbox objects in /Fields correctly, but it doesn't set the XFA side accordingly, whereas it does for text fields. In the Acrobat window the checkboxes show as correctly marked until I close the file. When I reopen the file with Acrobat or Reader, it gets its display information from the XFA, not from the /Fields (and that may be the real bug here), and so doesn't show the checkboxes as marked.

Signature Form Template
I need to request signatures on each pdf. However each time I need to drag in the signature cells to the sheet. I would like to be able to add a page to each pdf with the signature cells already set up.
What I'm looking for is the ability to use the signature template as an additional page in a batch.

Crashes when I try to start the form editor from the Tools pane in Pro DC for Mac
Trying to edit the forms on a PDF created in an earlier version of Acrobat. When I start the Form Editor using the Tools pane, the program crashes every time.

The new version is horrible. Definitely was not created to save time, but to waste it instead. I have wasted so much time in the last couple of days trying to find workarounds to the options that are now gone! What happened to "Undo"? Now if a mistake is made, the whole document has to be deleted and started over. Also, the "fill in forms fields" doesn't stay open so when a document needs several marks, it has to be re-opened every time, which is annoying. And don't get me started on documents that you have to enable…

Show (for example) 5 main colours when highlighting text
Right now when we select text we have the ability to highlight on the floater menu. However, it defaults to the last colour used. I change colours depending on how i want the text categorized. So I then have to click and re-select another colour which is time consuming. My Kindle reader always presents 4 colour when I am about to highlight which makes a big difference. Perhaps you can add a row to the floating menu with say the last 5 colours used or colours the user has selected that they know they might use.

I'd like to be able to enter in one fillable field "FirstName MiddleName LastName" and have it auto populate 3 fields for First, Middle, and Last. Or enter into one fillable field 123456789 and have it auto populate three fields with 123, 456, and 789. I've been searching for a script to do that and can't find anything.

Form drop down improvement request
Dropdowns need scrolling through options and the ability to type more than one letter to jump to an option in the drop down. Since users are very acquainted with filling forms out on the web, they expect this kind of interaction when filling out forms. Also, it will help save time for users.

Bug in Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet
The Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet feature works great until the form has a signature added to it. After the form is signed only a few of the fields are exported. It's as if the data elements have been truncated.
To replicate... create a form with many data fields (populated) and a signature field but without requesting a signature. Do the Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet... it works great.
Repeat the Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet function but this time after requesting a signature. This time the spreadsheet created has minimal data.

I recently updated my Adobe license and noted that the new version no longer provides the 'Actions', 'Format', 'Validate' and 'Calculate' options when I create a new form. Have these functionalities been removed or am I not finding them?

Remove Text option for Digital Signatures
When sending a document to someone using the eSign digital signature feature, they have the options "Type" "Draw" or "Image". I request that we as the sender have the ability to remove the "Type" option. A typed signature on the resultant signed pdf file is not suitable for legally binding documents. I want to the ability to restrict the recipient to the "Draw" and "Image" options so that a real signature is captured on the document.
