Using Hebrew to fill a form crashes acrobat
When filling out a PDF form in Hebrew it crashes.
The good news is that I found a fix: If I change the first field in the form to right to left (it is left to right by default) It does not crash anymore.

Can't modify a newly added field without exiting Prepare From
Maybe this is recent because I've been making fillable pdfs for years, but I have an issue where I'm adding several fields, like text or checkboxes, I can't modify those new fields because Prepare Form has my cursor stuck making new fields. It seems like I have to exit out of Prepare Form completely and then go back into it just to modify an existing field. The easiest option would be for users to just click again on the selected "Add Form Components" section for that option to be deselected, returning the cursor back to it's…

Adobe Prepare form and Adobe sign remove input fields for signer
It's fundamentally broken. I have been trying to use it for the past two days and encountering all sorts of bugs with the prepare form and adobe sign portions of the app.
Here's another example:
I added form fields for signer (I gave up trying to have prefill form fields--they would just DISAPPEAR in the signing form). Fields included:
Signature
Title
Name
Date
I tested the form by sending it myself as the signer. In the resulting form I ended up only with Signature, Title, and Date. For some reason Adobe sign would ignore and remove…1 vote -
Form fields should auto "snap to grid"
When creating a template or otherwise sending a document, form fields should auto "snap to grid" in any document that has lines on it similar to Acrobat DC auto form create. It's frustrating to go into this platform after using Acrobat DC and realizing it will now take about an hour to re-create the same form that took 2 minutes in Acrobat DC.

Font adjustment of text entered in fillable forms
Why is there now easily found method of adjusting the font size or to allow for text wrapping in a form I am filling out. It's maddening I pay for a service that doesn't clearly lay out preferences for this.
I am entering text into a fillable form and it disappears beyond the text box. I want the information to be readable for whomever wants to see the information, not have it appear as cut off words.

View revised text after editing with strikethru/insert text/replace text
After marking up edits (using the Comments tools of Strikethrough, Replace text and Insert text) in PDF proofs generated by InDesign, I want to be able to view and copy the edited text as it will now apppear, without the mark-up. This is because it is extremely difficult to read and understand the result of numerous complex edits in the PDF, and also I want to send the revised text to other people to check that the final version reads ok. So I envisage it as selecting the edited text in the PDF and being able to copy and…

Read only form fields become visible when a digital signature is applied and then cleared
Environment:
Windows. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.012.20040Expected result is that the text field remains Read Only when the digital signature is cleared.
What happens is the Read Only field appears visible as if it can have data entered into it.
Unfortunately I cannot seem to reproduce it on other forms, and I cannot attach this form as it is proprietary. Not sure if this is a familiar problem with others.

Bug when emailing completed form as PDF
When creating a form and using the Execute Menu Item->Submit a Form in order to email the completed form to someone when they click on a link, the following message appears, even though PDF is selected in the Submit Form Selections:
"The attached file contains data that was entered into a form. It is not the form itself. The recipient of this data file should save it locally with a unique name. Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 or later can process this data by importing it back into the blank form or creating a spreadsheet from several data files. See…

Acrobat deleted form fields from reading order when moved even one pixel
I am using the latest version of Mac Acrobat DC 2018.011.20038
1- Make a form field.
2- Select it so you can make a <form> with the OBJR
3- Drag it into its proper spot in the reading order.
4- Then move it even one pixel, it will delete itself. This happens on all fields of any type. It also happens if you just resize any field.Since this Adobe Forum usually asks questions until people give up on the thread I even made a video of the whole thing:

Editable form fields should keep font properties they were exported with
When you export an interactive PDF from InDesign, form fields that define a font and size do not carry over to the actual PDF and have to be redefined in Acrobat Pro.

I added form fields (including a signature field) to a PDF, using Acrobat DC. Now, when users try to fill and sign the form using Reader, they get an error message reading, "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." They are unable to save a signature onto the document.
Not the most helpful of error messages. How can I avoid users getting this error?1 vote -
when designing fillable forms there should be more options with signature type field
When designing new fillable forms the signature fields should allow the designer more options and the ability to specify defaults. For example, I am creating a pdf fillable form using Adobe Acrobat DC Pro to replace a form that had been printed blank. Then customer using an ink pen would write on the printed form and sign the form at the bottom on the signature line. The completed form would then be processed by a clerk who would key the hand written information and scan the completed and signed form to store with the customer records.…

Bottom tool bar
Bottom tool bar which appears over the document every time, it's always covering a page numbers, it's disappears so long and slow and no way to close it or make not appear at all... I never, just never, used this bar and any tool it provides. Wish I could set preferences to get rid of that annoying tool bar. Thank you.

Adjust text size in fields so text is legible
Whenever a person is completing Fill & Sign and the document comes back to me, some of the information is cut off. Is there a way to make the field adjust to the text to a legible size? I didn't have this issue before the update. Thanks.

Add remaining characters counter to text form with character limit
Add a function to Adobe Acrobat Pro Create Forms, so that when a character limit is applied to a text box a counter appears to indicate the remaining number of characters available to the user.
