  1. When creating a form and using the Execute Menu Item->Submit a Form in order to email the completed form to someone when they click on a link, the following message appears, even though PDF is selected in the Submit Form Selections:

"The attached file contains data that was entered into a form. It is not the form itself. The recipient of this data file should save it locally with a unique name. Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 or later can process this data by importing it back into the blank form or creating a spreadsheet from several data files. See…

  2. It's fundamentally broken. I have been trying to use it for the past two days and encountering all sorts of bugs with the prepare form and adobe sign portions of the app.

    Here's another example:

I added form fields for signer (I gave up trying to have prefill form fields--they would just DISAPPEAR in the signing form). Fields included:
    Signature
    Title
    Name
    Date
I tested the form by sending it myself as the signer. In the resulting form I ended up only with Signature, Title, and Date. For some reason Adobe sign would ignore and remove…

  3. I added form fields (including a signature field) to a PDF, using Acrobat DC. Now, when users try to fill and sign the form using Reader, they get an error message reading, "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." They are unable to save a signature onto the document.
Not the most helpful of error messages. How can I avoid users getting this error?

  4. After marking up edits (using the Comments tools of Strikethrough, Replace text and Insert text) in PDF proofs generated by InDesign, I want to be able to view and copy the edited text as it will now apppear, without the mark-up. This is because it is extremely difficult to read and understand the result of numerous complex edits in the PDF, and also I want to send the revised text to other people to check that the final version reads ok. So I envisage it as selecting the edited text in the PDF and being able to copy and…

  6. When filling out a PDF form in Hebrew it crashes.

The good news is that I found a fix: If I change the first field in the form to right to left (it is left to right by default) It does not crash anymore.

  7. When you export an interactive PDF from InDesign, form fields that define a font and size do not carry over to the actual PDF and have to be redefined in Acrobat Pro.

Closing this for now until we have further info on the request.

  8. Acrobat is soo frustrating. Everytime we enter text is a space the text is a different size. Please add multi-select capabilities with options to make the text boxes align on the bottom and make the same text size... .OMG. Please fix. This is been awful and still no fix. It makes people and business look amaturish.

  9. When designing new fillable forms the signature fields should allow the designer more options and the ability to specify defaults. For example, I am creating a pdf fillable form using Adobe Acrobat DC Pro to replace a form that had been printed blank. Then customer using an ink pen would write on the printed form and sign the form at the bottom on the signature line. The completed form would then be processed by a clerk who would key the hand written information and scan the completed and signed form to store with the customer records.…

  11. Form Filling - creating a field for numbers that can be right-aligned for the Finance Industry - there is one or two of us about :-) i.e. 123.45 but right-aligned within the field.

  12. Form Fills are no longer being detected since updated to the new Mac OSX Mojave.

Previous PDF's that I used successfully with the form fill option are no longer having their fields detected. Not a single aspect of the form has the field detected. When preparing a form, it quickly goes through all pages and detects zero form fills.

Need this function for my work, and it's currently crippling me.

  13. Issue: When preparing a form to send for signature, Image Field is an allowable field, and looks/works just fine in the preview. But during the step of upload/document processing (for signature), the image field is stripped out with no warning message or alert that the form you are about to send to your recipient for signature has been changed.

Enhancement rationale: Images are often a necessary component of prepared forms (need photo ID for an employment application, perhaps a pet photo for tenant screening, a voided check for ACH initiation, etc.). These forms require both images AND…

  14. Maybe this is recent because I've been making fillable pdfs for years, but I have an issue where I'm adding several fields, like text or checkboxes, I can't modify those new fields because Prepare Form has my cursor stuck making new fields. It seems like I have to exit out of Prepare Form completely and then go back into it just to modify an existing field. The easiest option would be for users to just click again on the selected "Add Form Components" section for that option to be deselected, returning the cursor back to it's…

  15. Whenever a person is completing Fill & Sign and the document comes back to me, some of the information is cut off. Is there a way to make the field adjust to the text to a legible size? I didn't have this issue before the update. Thanks.

  16. I want to change the default highlight color for fillable form boxes. The automatically generated baby blue clashes with all the other colors in my layout. I know I can change it in my personal preferences, but I need to change it for the document so the recipient has the desired viewing experience.
Users have been asking about this issue for at least seven years now – what's so hard about changing the highlight color for the document (again, NOT my personal settings)? I can change the text and box color once the field is selected, but the default box…

  18. Bottom tool bar which appears over the document every time, it's always covering a page numbers, it's disappears so long and slow and no way to close it or make not appear at all... I never, just never, used this bar and any tool it provides. Wish I could set preferences to get rid of that annoying tool bar. Thank you.

  19. Editing auto generated form text fields for a long document is a NIGHTMARE.

why on earth would i have to MANNUALY change EACH and every field?

what's the use of the preferences being set to a font i prefer for it just to be reverted back to Helvetica?

Either you unify the font preferences or just make a section for form preparation font to allow us to choose for it as well

it's insane that i have to waste so much time editing tons of fields on just switching fonts when a simple solution of a "one…
