  1. How do I clear the recent list? Very Dangerous practice

    Recently noticed someone had used my workstation and opened all my bank records on my "Recent" list.

    I am trying to clear the list but can't figure out how? It appears to have disappeared with updates, or moved to somewhere I can't find.

  2. Bug: Bookmarks in purchased pdf not working

    I have a purchased pdf with bookmarks and links to areas throughout the same documents. However clicking on the bookmarks does not do anything.

    I have checked the link by
    right click
    selecting 'edit link'
    selcting 'actions'

    The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

    Bookmarks and links appear to be set up correctly so I am not sure why they are not working?

  3. Share files by email on Mac - Bug always causes Acrobat Pro DC to crash

    Every time I try to share a PDF by email it crashes.
    I am on a Macbook Pro 2017 and running MS Outlook with Exchange server for email.
    I click the envelope icon in the top left corner under Tools and then select on the right "Send as attachment" and choose MS Outlook as my email client.
    it crashes every time.

  4. Latin OCR support

    An ocean of old texts are in Latin. Many of these need OCR. Support on this would be most welcome as they are often the subject of academic work.

  5. The dynamic stamp creation process needs to be simpler

    The dynamic stamp creation process is very difficult, at best. The random names for the stamps makes it extremely difficult to find which stamp you're working on after the stamp has been named during creation. Having to navigate deep into the file system to find a randomly named file is not user friendly by any stretch of the imagination. I'm attempting to make 100 dynamic stamps for our engineering company, not just one or two stamps.

  6. Add continuous page number across portfolio pdfs (not one by one)

    hey all,

    i have a problem, when i add header then add page number to portofolio , adobe add page number for each pdf alone (from 1) and next pdf start from 1 again, is it possible to have continuous pages number across all portfolio pdfs.

  9. Side Tools should be default & Menu Dropdown should show options without having to click on open

    Return Menu Tools to the Side where they belong. They are next to useless now. Put actual menu items under the menu drop-downs instead of extra steps to open what should be a drop-down. Sorry - I hate the new look. Hate it. I should not have to navigate away from a page I'm working on in order to get to tools. I should not have to spend half an hour to discover you apparently no longer have this option. Security tools, if still in existence, should be obvious.

  11. Do NOT delete custom calculation script when another option is clicked

    When I have entered a custom calculation script for a form field and accidentally click one of the other options in that tab or accidentally click to the Validate tab, my whole script just disappears, which is infuriating. Why can you not just leave the script there as is, but obviously don't apply it if another option is clicked. Perhaps a user would like to test different Calculation/Validation options without having their work erased. I am so sick of losing hours of work simply because I mis-clicked.

  12. Acrobat on macOS consistently CRASHES silently: DATA LOSS while saving a file

    1. Open Acrobat Pro DC on macOS 10.14.1
    2. Scan a document
    3. Select "Save" command
    4. Select folder
    5. Switch to Finder

    Result: Acrobat is no longer running. Scanned file lost. No crash report dialog is initiated.

    Build: 19.10.20064.311007
    AGM: 4.30.83
    CoolType: 5.14.5
    JP2K: 1.2.2.42216

    The system log shows a bunch of AdobeAcrobat errors: "UNIX error exception: 17" but the app spews so many messages into the log that it's hard to determine which are relevant and where the problem actually starts.

    I think Highlighting tool needs improvement to be more dynamic in the reader's hand, change the highlight colour and the option to name the colour is important, like 'main idea' 'to summarise' ...etc.
    there is a good example for highlighting in the app Bookshelf.

  14. add a shortcut key to execute an Action Wizard or make it available in the top menu or screen. Currently many clicks are needed to start it.

    My next question is to be able to close the file which was transformed by the Action Wizard, but CTRL+W is okay as well.

  16. send as attachment

    The new unified share experience really slows down our workflow and adds unnecessary steps. Please implement a shortcut/button so that we can go back to one click or one keyboard shortcut to attach to email.

    I created a PDF from Illustrator and I opened the file. It gave me this error message: "Cannot extract the embedded font [font name]. Some characters may not display or print correctly."

    There are many links for references list in science paper, but it is really make me upset to click a link then jump to the end of a paper and then searching in paper where I just have read.
