  2. When editing a PDF that already contains text that was converted to outlines, the "recognize text" feature redraws that already outlined text to a ****** version of the text. It's like it converts it to a low resolution image, and then outlines that image. The settings under "Enhance Scans > Recognize Text > Settings" have no influence over the "Edit PDF > Scanned Documents > Recognize Text" feature.

Why would you reoutline already outlined text?

    Hi,

We do not keep the file anywhere once it has been deleted. You will not be able to recover the deleted file.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  4. The dates and times shown in the Date column of a PDF portfolio of Outlook emails are not correct – in the PDF portfolio Date column the email dates and times are seven hours behind the actual dates and times of the emails in the portfolio. Example: Email date and time: March 24, 2018 7:59:26 PM; date and time of email shown in the portfolio Date column: 3/24/2018 12:59:26 PM. This seven-hour difference is the same for sent emails and received emails, i.e., the email date and time of sent emails and the email date and time of received emails…

  5. After adding an image watermark, Acrobat visually adds it the file. But the save button is not enabled until I exit editing. So if I close the file in edit mode I don't get the save changed file dialog. In addition, adding watermark to multiple pdf files doesn't work when the files are not opened.

  6. I recently got a new machine and moved my DC pro account over. Turns out I somehow ended up with the classic version and spent a few hours trying to figure out why I was having a lack of features on this new install. I'm just really annoyed that something so simple as notifying me that I'm not installing the right variant of a purchased product has cost me so much time.

  8. Every pdf document I send to my MFD (Canon) does not automatically print. It sends a message to pick paper size because it's a custom size. However, it is NEVER a custom size, it's always 8-1/2 x 11. All the settings in my document say to print to 8-1/2 x 11, I've tried shrink and fit and still, I keep getting the message at the printer and have to choose 8-1/2 x 11. Really annoying.

  10. It would be great to be able to have links available in the headers/footers feature. This would help tremendously with very large doc’s with more than 100 pages, particularly if the reader of the document tries to jump from one section to another.

This would help if one tries to create ‘Back to home page’ links on every page in a large pdf document. Say, one creates a ‘Table of Contents’ in the beginning of the deck, with links to every section in the deck. Once you get to the respective section (e.g. pages 120-150 in the deck), it would…

  11. Performance:
DC performance is unsatisfactory. It seems to be tied to being logged in. When the app is not "signed in", it works fine, but then it won't always start up without requiring that I sign in.
When I sign in, the app routinely freezes whenever opening, annotating, or otherwise working with documents. It becomes infuriating. This has been going on for years now and apparently hasn't been addressed or even acknowledged to be an issue.

  13. I set up the proper tab order/work flow in my Acrobat form, and sent it to someone to fill out the fields and eSign. Adobe Sign completely re-ordered the tab order so that the flow didn't work well. The receiver had to keep using his mouse to get to the next field instead of just tabbing to it. The tab order should remain undisturbed when converting from Acrobat to Adobe Sign.

  15. I have wasted hours upon hours of time changing my font from minion pro to arial every time I edit/add text to a new PDF, and even when I switch pages within one PDF. It should be the most basic tool offered, the ability to set a default font for all Adobe PDFs. If this does not exist yet, IT NEEDS TO, please!!!!

  16. Adobe, please give users the option to permanently hide the Navigation Pane. I have to click the arrow on every single doc I open in order to hide it! Give me a simple option to disable that stupid pane. Do a google search on this and you'll find countless users asking for the same thing...since the last 5 years. Fix it already!

  17. I don't want the forced tools on top, including Home, Tools, Document, and several of the page display icons. I'm a genius and I'll offer a brilliant idea: let users customize their own screen!

When the window isn't maximized, there's insufficient room for all the tools, and the default unwanted ones prevent the ones I need from being displayed! When the + and - zoom icons aren't shown, they're also not even listed behind the 3-bullet icon on the far right! This is obviously a bug. It's further difficult since Acrobat refuses to zoom when using Ctrl-scroll on a "high-precision"…

  19. I would like to be able to generate a table of contents using bookmarks within a PDF. While there are some third party plugins that will do this, it would be helpful to have this feature within Acrobat.

  20. Hi, can you create an option to choose which format to choose by default using the "Save file as" command. Because I often have to export a jpeg format and have a quick button for the "Save file as", but every time I have the drop-down menu in the dialog I choose the JPEG format. Just add an option to choose the default format when using the option, so anyone can use it for most export formats. Or just remember the last selected format every time you use "Save file as
