  4. In older versions of Acrobat, when you right click a page in page pane, it would have move which allowed you to type a number and page will move to take that position. This is important when you have more than 20 pages on a full screen. To move page 78 to page 4, just right click page 78, select move and type page number 4, Page 78 moves to page number 4. Dragging over left side up or down at times become sticky and have to do it in two or three parts.

  5. Inserting a table:
I have no idea how to insert a table in a PDF. The instructions say 'go to insert'. I cannot seem to find the icon- insert.

There is no concept of a table in a PDF file.
If you want dynamic table, you can add text form fields that are organized in a grid that resembles a table, but you would have to do this manually.
If you want to insert a static table, the best way to do this is to go back to the original application what was used to create this document (e.g. MS Word, InDesign …)

Let us know if it resolves your issue.

  6. Currently the PDF signature routines of Acrobat fail when using certain certificates. As an SecSigner employee explains, this may be due to symmetric curve crypt algorithms or using PSS padding, cf. https://seccommerce.com/anforderungen-an-den-secsigner-im-rahmen-von-etsi/ (in German)

E.g. current PDF files by amazon.de result in the following error (German Acrobat DC installation, no pending updates):

    Fehler bei Unterschriftsprüfung.

Bei der Prüfung ist ein Fehler aufgetreten:

    Interner kryptografischer Bibliotheksfehler.
    Fehlercode: 0x2726

  8. It would be nice to be able to export document templates so they can be moved between Adobe Sign accounts. If one of my users leaves and their account is deactivated all their documents/templates that are shared go away as well. This would make it easier for admins. OR create the ability for an Admin account which can create templates to share with the team, but can't actually distribute documents for signature (I don't want to pay for an "Admin" account that won't be used).

    Thank you

  9. Allow IT managers to assign to computers not email addresses. You do not install to an email address you install to a computer. multiple people use the same computer. The work around using gmail aliases is stupid...I then have to manage user alias or gmail accounts now too. The administrator should have all the control over all the licences and installations. Users don't care. Users do not understand. They just get fed up and stop using the software while I continue to pay the licence. I should be able to assign 50 computers using my admin email so I can…

  12. Click Send for Shared Commenting and follow the steps in wizard to add a note and recipients, and so on. When complete, the message appears that the email is created in the email program, but the email is never created. Usually it would appear in the Outbox, and could be sent. Nothing ever appears.

As a workaround, I tried to "send file, attach to email' to send the review enabled pdf. The email opens with the pdf attached, and i sent. First time i got an error that the file could not be found, and the email was not sent.…

  14. When editing a PDF that already contains text that was converted to outlines, the "recognize text" feature redraws that already outlined text to a ****** version of the text. It's like it converts it to a low resolution image, and then outlines that image. The settings under "Enhance Scans > Recognize Text > Settings" have no influence over the "Edit PDF > Scanned Documents > Recognize Text" feature.

Why would you reoutline already outlined text?

    Hi,

We do not keep the file anywhere once it has been deleted. You will not be able to recover the deleted file.

  16. The dates and times shown in the Date column of a PDF portfolio of Outlook emails are not correct – in the PDF portfolio Date column the email dates and times are seven hours behind the actual dates and times of the emails in the portfolio. Example: Email date and time: March 24, 2018 7:59:26 PM; date and time of email shown in the portfolio Date column: 3/24/2018 12:59:26 PM. This seven-hour difference is the same for sent emails and received emails, i.e., the email date and time of sent emails and the email date and time of received emails…

  17. After adding an image watermark, Acrobat visually adds it the file. But the save button is not enabled until I exit editing. So if I close the file in edit mode I don't get the save changed file dialog. In addition, adding watermark to multiple pdf files doesn't work when the files are not opened.

  18. I recently got a new machine and moved my DC pro account over. Turns out I somehow ended up with the classic version and spent a few hours trying to figure out why I was having a lack of features on this new install. I'm just really annoyed that something so simple as notifying me that I'm not installing the right variant of a purchased product has cost me so much time.

  20. Every pdf document I send to my MFD (Canon) does not automatically print. It sends a message to pick paper size because it's a custom size. However, it is NEVER a custom size, it's always 8-1/2 x 11. All the settings in my document say to print to 8-1/2 x 11, I've tried shrink and fit and still, I keep getting the message at the printer and have to choose 8-1/2 x 11. Really annoying.
