Singe page view, horizontal swipe to "flip" pagesDrawboard PDF's single page view allows one to swipe through pages (like "flipping" pages in a book). I find this helps with retention as it breaks apart the text, delineated by page breaks. I've tried your single page vertical scrolling view, but I found it to be clunky. A few things that would probably make this better (for the horizontal swipe as well): - Don't have the page "glued" to the screen, but put it on a rubber band -- so, as someone "drags" the page, you can see it react/ shift from the center/ default position. If the user just…

Start up bugWhen Internet is accessible Acrobat suspend for a long time at start up. After Acrobat's windows appear all seems Ok, but after 1-2 second Acrobat doesn't respond to mouse and keyboard and Windows say that program doesn't respond. Duration of this state is few minutes. If connection to Internet is unavailable (for example cable is unplugged) no any problem observed at start up and later. This is definitely bug related to unnecessarily access to the Internet which suspend main functionalities of Acrobat. Please fix as soon as possible. 2 votes

Can't select a text annotation - Acrobat Pro 2017In Acrobat X a text annotation (created with the Typewriter tool) could easily be selected by merely clicking on it. In Acrobat Pro 2017 there seems to be no way to select it. This is a real show stopper for me since I often need to delete or copy/paste a group of selected line, text, and other annotations. 1 vote

Tag + notify reviewers of comments + replies in Shared Commenting reviewI'd love a way to tag reviewers in a comment—or in a reply to an existing comment—in a review PDF (hosted internally) that's set up for Shared Commenting, so that they may be notified via email of the comment in the document. Some reviewers proof the document early, make a comment, and then never revisit the shared review PDF, so if someone replies to their comment, they do not see it. That has left the onus of communicating the missed replies and being a go-between on a single person in our organization. 9 votes

Acrobat Pro Comments Column Colour ChangeHi all (Mac Acrobat Pro - all up to date) In the comments column the selected comment goes a slightly darker grey. For me this still does not make this comment stand out enough. Is there a way to change this to something more prevalent? Thanks in advance DC 2 votes

In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - add a "subtraction" option in the drop-down box in the Text Fields Properties Box. This would be VERY helpful! Not having a subtraction option in the Text Field Properties reduces the value of the calculate function. The current "workaround" of inputting a negative number to allow for addition is a poor alternative. 4 votesHi Gary You can either use a custom JavaScirpt calculation or the simplified field notation calculation, if your field names follow the required convention, with the “-” operator you will be able to perform subtraction. However, we value your suggestion/ideas and we will have the engineering notified. Should we need more information inregard to this, we shall connect with you
 Thank you for your patience.

Adobe Acrobat DC enodingDear Ladies and Gentlemen, I am French fund of literature and work for editors in particular in view of publications of translations from Indian literature into French. I am thus using most programs of the Adobe Creative Suite, because I also manage a Web site devoted to the promotion of Indian literature to French-speaking people (www.chatranjali.fr). The purpose of my request is the following:
I gather PDF documents from either Indian sites, or Indian writers or their agents. They are thus written in one of the numerous languages and scripts used in the Indian subcontinent: devanagari mainly, but…1 vote

Cannot edit PDF after entering passwordAcrobat DC, Windows
If I open a PDF which I protected myself with a password and I enter the password to temporarily disable the protection, I should be able to edit the PDF the way I want, but I'm not. I cannot mark, not draw anything. I'm forced to save an unprotected copy. This is paradox and stupid!1 vote

Please please please make Overprint Preview a default! As the world continues to use PDFs for EVERYthing, it is so so important that people are aware of Overprint Preview. However, most people don't know it even exists in their page display preferenc. If you don't have this turned on things that are set to overprint will show as if they are not overprinting (mostly on the customer's end). Because the default of Acrobat is not to have Overprint Preview turned on, customers don't realize the problem. In the printing industry this is one of the biggest stumbling stones (boulders) we come across. That and fonts, of course. 2 votes

Why can't i find any real help? Why can't i talk to an expert about the issues I'm having? All the tutorials are much too basic and scrolling through all the reams of posts is exhausting and never results in an answer. I need advice on how to save a pdf. file with radio buttons and fillable sections so i can send it to a client for completion. Why is there no detailed best practice on how to use pre-flight so that forms work for your clients? 1 vote

insert a pdf page of fileAcrobat Pro 9 allowed me to add a pdf page or file by going to Documents/Insert page With Acrobat DC, I don't see this feature; the closest I have come is to merge files, which is more troublesome and creates a new file that I then have to rename 1 vote
