  1. I HATE the new layout of the Acrobat PRO, it is the most frustrating layout. I have been using Acrobat for YEARS and everytime there is an update it gets worse and worse. There is nothing intuitive about the layout of the tools or that you have icons with no words to express what they stand for. I liked having the menu bar across the top. Please at least give us an option of how to go back to the old style! My workflow is constantly interrupted to have to figure things out!

  2. With the 21.005.20048 Planned update, June 08, 2021, it introduced a new issue that didn't previously exist with our TMW application from Trimble.

Error = The ordinal 3282 could not be located in the dynamic link library
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.dll.

This error did not exist with the May 11 update. This error was introduced this week with the Jun 8 update.

I need to know how to roll-back or reinstall the 21.001.20155 Planned update, May 11, 2021 until this is fixed.

Please contact Trimble for more information. They may be reaching out to you…

  3. Can we stop defaulting preferences when there is a CC update. My tools keep disappearing and having to open them and viewing preferences are gone. Having to change it everytime you update and I never know when that is going to happen as I don't ever get notified.

  4. Adobe XI-Professional-MAC Version 11.0.23 is craching after an update of MAC OS High Sierra Version 10.13.2 (17C88). Some times it fails while saving files other than desktop and most of the time system crahes while signing the document.

  6. Your new interface update is horrible. I understand the need for simplification the attempt to make things easier for the end user, but not every one has the same needs. I don't NEED a tool bar that I can't get rid of or at least customize for my needs. I need a program that will give me the option to select and de-select the functions I use on a daily basis. I don't care about e-sign, but I would like to have an icon to organize pages with out having to go through two or three menus.

    Yes you made…

  7. Everything is horrible about this! I've had so many issues with Adobe since the new update! It's like they targeted for people to have a horrible experience with Adobe. I'm forced to use it though the company I work for bc they purchase these licenses. From constantly getting kicked out of my account, to my signatures getting erased, and now I can't combine my files. This new Adobe deserves an award for worst update of the century.

  8. The little palette described in the title just appears in fairly random positions below whatever I've just highlighted. It's very often in the way, as I'm working my way down a list. In the case of the attached image, I'm working my way down a bank statement & the palette is covering up the next number (in the grey horontal bar). I can click away to clear it but that is quite lterally doubling the amount of work I have to do. I personally don't need it there at all but I can see how it might be useful to…

  9. Like many users I was caught off guard by the automatic October 2018 update that significantly changed things (for the worse, as usual). I wasn't even aware that Acrobat had automatic updates turned on! All the other CC apps simply notify you via Creative Cloud when an update is available, and I choose whether or not to install it. Why is Acrobat different?

Apps from other companies have a prominent dialog during initial install that asks whether you want to install updates automatically or not. I don't recall ever seeing this type of notice for Acrobat.

    At the…

  10. Hello, I've created Indesign interactive PDFs for many years (mainly lecture course material), until Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.010.20098 all went well. After the update to 2019.012.20034 all files (from the last three years) with movies in them crash with the error:
This PDF cannot be viewed in Acrobat or Reader, and the application will
    now exit
This is horrible news for our university, can you please help? Obviously we made sure that Flash etc is up to date. Also we tried different security and multemedia legacy options.
As a "work-around" we are currently re-exporting all Indesign content to fixed…

  11. When dragging a PDF or Word document into the page thumbnails to add that document to the existing PDF document, the thumbnails occasionally fail to refresh, and show the incorrect page thumbnails.

E.g. If I drag a 3 page document file into page 50 of a 100 page PDF, the thumbnails will show the previous pages 50-52 until you close the thumbnail view and re-open it or scroll the thumbnail view past those pages forcing a refresh.

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2017.011.30120

  13. Can we not have a working icon to be able to save a file? And that pop-up window which shows recently used file saved locations can be awfully slow - can take 20+ seconds to display anything on occasions, but usually at least 10 seconds. Dreadfully slow process. On occasions it may even not function at all, stalled spinning wheel or no spinning wheel at all,

Acrobat DC is just sooo terribly terribly slow compared to the old installed versions of reader that used to exist... I still use Reader 4 on an 25 year old machine and it works…

  14. When opening a PDF file from Microsoft Edge browser the file now opens using a default Microsoft pdf reader of some sort. I checked to make sure that acrobat was the default application for opening .pdf files but that makes no difference. Adobe help desk said this is because of the latest windows update and the latest adobe acrobat update as well. This is really frustrating and makes workflow inefficient. Please fix this so acrobat can be used when opening .pdf files from browsers (had same problem with Chrome so does not seem to be a browser specific problem).

    Thank…

  15. I would like to cancel my Adobe Acrobat Pro Trial. I tried to cancel that, but the website didn't enable me to go to the cancel page. It continues asking for my credit card details and continues making requests for payments on my credit card.

  16. The most recent update to how pages function is not user friendly. The scroll bar has virtually disappeared. I must continually re-enable it for every document. Very frustrating.

  17. The icons for "Zoom to Page Level" and "Show only one page at a time" are nearly identical. What's worse, when I put both of them on my toolbar, Acrobat places them side-by-side, intentionally causing confusion..

These commands do different things and need to be better differentiated in icon form.

  18. I want the internet browser PDF (PDF Reader) to have all the editing options that the desktop Acrobat Reader has. If you want to edit the file, you have to download it, open it, and then edit. We should be able to edit the file directly from our internet browser. I typically use Chrome. This should be available on all internet browsers.

  19. put a checkbox in the loupe tool to toggle the following of page changes.

while reviewing engineering drawings, all of the same format of media - usually ANSI B. Engineers, architects, cad people need to check for title block errors, flipping through every sheet, looking in the same relative area (in my case, the bottom right corner). I want to work in a full page window and then open the loupe to examine the desired area on each sheet. when i'm done reviewing a sheet, I down arrow to get the next full page. I want the loupe blowup content…

  20. my old form changed with new update. It used to work great. Now when I request e-sign text box alignment and font size or something changes, so all text isn't visible and it is all left justified. See attached examples.
