  1. When Copying and Pasting form fields from one document to another the fields are either rotated 90º or do not show up at all. Using MacOs Catalina and latest version of Acrobat.

  2. I am creating a fillable PDF and the users need to be able to add an image. I tried using "Add an Image Field" with Prepare Form, but the users are unable to add the image when they open the PDF in Mac Preview. Most of our clients use Mac Preview to open and fill PDFs we need to make this compatible!

  3. I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - this is a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable. I want Acrobat to detect the check boxes and automatically add them instead of manually adding 100 checkboxes, taking way too much time.

  4. For the highlight function, there should be the ability to change colors easily. Right now the process is cumbersome and time-consuming. When I have to be able to access my highlighted test for citations, it would be wonderful to be able to export to word documents with a click.

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update (21.001.20135) containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. You may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  5. When We use Adobe Read Aloud function, We are able to hear the words/Speech. However, We are never able to find out which text is being read by Adobe Currently. Adobe Must highlight the text being Read by Adobe read aloud and Auto Scroll to keep the highlighted text visible to us. It will help us read the document along With Adobe Read Alound. Please provide this function/Feature.

  6. After receiving an invitation to sign, on the signing web page, if I choose "decline to sign", then typed the reasons, the "Cancel"and "Decline" bottom (which turns in blue") cannot be clicked by a mouse.

    the bottoms can still be selected by using "tab" key.

  7. Link Alternative text disappears when opening in Older version of Adobe acrobat. In current version of adobe acrobat (23.003.20215), While adding alternative text for link in the new version & open the same document in older version it will automatically removes the alternative text and also commonlook shows error in new version as alt text not added. Since there is no alt text showing in Edit Tag in Properties of the tag.

    Please share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with. You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..

    Also, can you please try it another PDF file and confirm that this is not file specific.

  9. Any time I am foolish enough to move my mouse near the bottom of an Adobe document, a little bar that says "ask AI assistant" comes up. Often, it takes some time to make it go away again.
    If I wanted to find an AI assistant, I wouldn't be looking by putting my mouse near the bottom of the page. If you must have such a doodad, put it in the menu structure with everything else so that it isn't in my way.

  10. When I have a selection in an insertion and try using the Text Properties bar to change the font size, the focus regularly jumps away, the font size changes on its own, and/or the selected text deselects.

  11. I include the same message with each form I send out for signature. Rather than having to copy/paste it into each individual form, I would like to save my customized message so that it pre-populates on each form automatically. The current message, which I have to delete each time to enter my own message, says: Please review and sign this document.

  13. I had to spend A FULL HOUR OF MY WORK DAY today just trying to figure out how to add text to a PDF. Why? Because the "Add Text" and "Edit Text" features have now changed such that, instead of adding text where you click, they open up a bunch of raster layers which totally destroy the entire document if you try to type in them.

    Every time I used the "Add Text" or "Edit Text" it would rearrange all of the text of the form I was trying to fill out in ways that turned…

  14. Comment field for signer/approver and/or email button attached to document to email comment or questions regarding received document.

    In some cases, the signer or approver may have questions about the document prior to signing it. Instead of having to deny the document, the signer/approver should be able to submit a comment when signing or submit a question to the sender prior to signing.

  15. A user tasked me with auto populating the date field with the date a field was signed on.

    The digital ID has a feature that shows when the ID was placed in the signature field, but it would be nice to have a feature where when one field is filled, another field is populated, depending on the desired action.

  16. It would be great if users could insert a sliding scale field for range questions (like a 1-10 question) in the same way that we can insert a checkbox or text field when creating a form. I have to create employee appraisal templates and I need to include a slider scale. I have attached an example of a sliding scale.

  17. I am often routing contracts prepared by another employee for signatures. When I use 'Request E-signatures', Adobe automatically detects form fields, including fields that have already been completed and should not be edited by any of the signers.

    Currently, I have to right-click on each form field and manually change 'Assigned To' from the dropdown list to myself/(prefill). Why is there not an option to set a default for the 'Assigned To' field or allow users to change multiple form fields simultaneously?

  18. at the same location from previous page when selecting a text block and try to highlight it, switches to previously highlighted text in previous page and change the whole text block to that previous text.
    if ( Text in page 2) highlighted it will change to (text in page 1) in order to reverse this need to change the page and back again until it works
    also, the selected text disappear after finishing from selecting along with the options that appears after selection.

  19. Hi,

    Could you add a number of week (w) in the list of ACCEPTED VALUES FOR PORTIONS OF DATES in Acrobat Pro DC?
    Examples:
    - ww-yyyy (38-2020)
    - ww-yy (38-20)
    - ect.
    It will be helpful for PDF files which contain date field in this format and it needs to be editable (manually by an operator and automatically generated in Acrobat Pro DC) each time when PDF files are opened for a print or any other job.
    It is not possible to get this format of a date even with option Custom in Prepare Form/Format/Date/Custom.

  20. Acrobat crashes when copying text -- no error message appears, application just closes. Document is fairly large (~1000 pages), created in Adobe FrameMaker. Acrobat only crashes if document is tagged -- if all tagging is removed, we are able to copy text easily.
