  1. Add more shape images like triangle and tons more, it is very difficult to add images in Pro other than the VERY FEW. Include basic sizing functions like sizing, skewing, and all the other basic type shape editing in many software titles.

  2. It would nice to be able to unshare a document, make changes to it, and reshare it again without losing comments & suggested edits made from previous users that were invited to it. I currently to manually copy/paste client comments from a previously shared file into a new one any time a partial change is made to the doc but old comments still need to be addressed or referenced.

  4. During the correction process utilize a dictionary to look up words which contain most characters as determined by scan and in the same left to right order. Present these as choices to be picked rather than only allowing change via direct editing. Permit editing after a choice is made however because the choice might only be close.

So often I have seen "print" scanned as "primt" for instance. Since most text is words in a dictionary the correction process can offer alternative spellings with some high degree of probability that one of them is correct. This could also be used…

  5. The Message field under the Recipient tab in Agreement Templates for Adobe Acrobat Sign for Salesforce needs to be changed from a plain text field to rich text or another format that supports hyperlinks. The package my company is sending out contains a URL for the customer to access but they currently have to copy and paste the URL into a browser instead of being able to click the link.

  7. 1) When multiple overlapping or adjacent regions are highlighted the result should just be a single highlight over the union. This is how highlighting works in e.g. Kindle and Apple Books. A common workflow is to highlight an area, and then realize you made a mistake and wanted to highlight adjacent words. Right now this gives two overlapping highlighted regions with a darker shade on the overlap -- which is distracting, and it's highly unlikely that the user cared to generate two overlapping regions (and pretty unlikely the the user cared to create two adjacent but distinct regions).

  8. Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not 100% ADA compliant. Specifically, one cannot create or edit PDFs if one uses a screen reader to navigate around their computer screen (i.e. is blind/visually impaired). I currently use JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and have Acrobat Pro DC. I've attempted to create and edit from combining PDFs, using copies, etc. I've even tried using some of your tutorial items to test with and have had the same results (ex. Bodea's Brochure -- the brochure your website tutorial has specifically for practicing editing).

  9. Dear acrobat service,
I recently purchased a new laptop (Dell XPS 13). After downloading acrobat reader (the free version) I observed something unusual. Certain PDF files (The ones that are fill-in forms or with digital signatures exc...), when opened, glitch and all pages move, random windows closed exc... basically the laptop has its own life without me controlling anything of that. I tried to uninstall and re-install the software. I contacted the Dell support that made me try these commands, one by one, on the prompt:
    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online…

  10. When I export PDF to postscript and next create PDF from that poscript, text is viewed correct, but when I try to copy that text then all or some text is unreadable. I am using Adobe Acrobat DC. Input PDF file could be created in older version of Adobe. Do you have similar problem? I wonder if you have found a solution so you can share with me.

    Thanks,
    Krystian

  11. When creating PDFs with multiple images that each have a unique filename, I would like to be able to insert that filename on the corresponding page so that I can more easily navigate to that file if I need to search for it on my computer.

  12. There's an issue where if you highlight a phrase or word, it remains "selected" despite moving on to other highlights.
    Environment: OS desktop app
Expected result: once done highlighting, there is no border around the previous highlight while highlighting more items.

While editing Tag layer to insert Actual Text for headings in the Tag Properties window, the copy/paste is pasting text from another area of the page instead of the selected text.

    Steps to reproduce:

  15. Rewriting this to fit the desired bug reporting format:

    Steps to reproduce the issue
    1. In a pdf choose 'Add text'
    2. Press and hold a character that has accented versions, eg. 'a'
    3. Choose the desired accented character

    Expected result
    The single accented character desired

    Observed result
It inserts both the unaccented and accented characters simultaneously.

Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.):
    Acrobat build version: Build: 23.6.20380.0
    OS: Mac Sonoma

I assume this is a bug as no other programme works like that. In fact typing this now in this form and adding the accented character worked perfectly.

  16. I download the acrobatproDC_dlm disk image on my Macbook Pro running 10.12.5 using the Chrome browser.
    This download proceeds normally.

After mounting the disk image and starting the installer app, it fails as 29% saying: "Safari must be closed in order to proceed". This comes up in a dialog box with Retry and Close buttons. Retry always fails with the same error message. Close, of course, closes the installer.

The trouble is that Safari is not running!

I finally figured out that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC was running and this was the cause of the installation failure.

    Please correct the…

  18. After redacting (with hidden content removal disabled) a hidden layer form XObject partially, the toggling of the hidden layer fails. This is because Acrobat creates a copy of the OCG. One of the OCG objects is toggled in /OCProperties; however, this isn't the OCG that's present in the form xobject's /OC entry. Rather, the form xobject references the copy of the OCG. Therefore, toggling does nothing, and behaviour is unclear since it looks as if redacting a hidden layer makes the content visible by default.

  19. A few days ago I began receiving an Acrobat sign-in prompt every time I access one of my Adobe documents. There is no way to make this go away and I have absolutely no interest in ever logging in. The result is that I waste vast amounts of my life saying NO to the login prompt and then having to face it again the next day and the next. I may have to switch to another PDF editor that doesn't torture me this way.

  20. When attempting to export a pdf to a jpg, png, or tiff an error stating that the image is too wide to output occurs. This only happens with some files, but not all.
