Platform confusion
I recently got a new machine and moved my DC pro account over. Turns out I somehow ended up with the classic version and spent a few hours trying to figure out why I was having a lack of features on this new install. I'm just really annoyed that something so simple as notifying me that I'm not installing the right variant of a purchased product has cost me so much time.

BE able to save multiple subsections and bookmarked Sections as a PDF rather than the whole document when PRINT action does not allow subsections to be saved through printer dialogue. Going to save as just saves the whole document again. NOT the selected Subsection or multiple pages.

Thanks for your valuable feedback.
We have recorded it as a feature request in our database.
However saving multiple pages to PDF option is there. You can give selected pages in ‘Pages’ option on print dialog.Best Regards!

Bug: Errors when trying to "scan-optimize" a signed PDF
I have a signed/certified PDF. Manipulations on this document are per se forbidden. However, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC allows to run the scan-optimizer (OCR, rectification, etc.) which causes a row of error messages: For every PDF-page, it shows two pop ups.

Bug - Acrobat no longer opening files with macOS High Sierra / Security Update
Recently I updated to Security Update 2018-001 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 - since then, none of my Acrobat instances (DC Pro, X) works anymore: I can start Acrobat, but as soon a I try to open a file, Acrobat hangs (showing the "rolling ball") and I have to force quit. Deinstallation and re-installation did not solve the problem.

AdobeSign does not allow Times Roman font to be used
I have multiple fonts used throughout a legal document, but when I convert to Adobe Sign, the fonts in the Forms are converted to Arial, when it was originally Times Roman. I contacted support, but they were unable to help with this!?! Can we get this updated so standard font types are compatible with Adobe Sign???

why is it so hard to save a document to my computer?
I don't want to save the document in Word, I just want to save the PDF in "my documents" on my computer. Is there no way to do this? Or if there is what is the magic spell I have to put on Adobe to do that. Cannot access the Adobe Cloud- whatever that is- to attach documents.
5 votesFor saving your document on your computer you can follow the below steps.
1) Go to file menu and click on save as
2) On the subsequent screen, select ‘Choose a different folder’ button
3) You’ll be able to browse your local desktop folder structure after this
4) Save your pdf to the desired location. -
Restrict editing/copying not working (when allowing printing)
The feature "Restrict editing/copying" under Permissions not working when allowing printing. This is a problem as I need to send documents where people can read/print them but shouldn't be able to copy/edit the text to protect our intelectual property as much as possible.
I have worked with the Adobe support team and they have acknowledged the bug and asked me to detail it here. Please include a fix in your next release, thanks.2 votes -
Tagging table cell contents, attribute inherited
When remediating a document created from Word, we had a group of tables (actually embedded Excel sheets) that auto-tagged as Figures. When the cells in these Figures were manually tagged using the Reading Order Tool they inherited the Bounding Box and Placement attributes of the Figure tag they were within. If the Figure tag was deleted and then the content was tagged this problem did not occur, but who knew this would happen? This caused unexpected issues using several remediation Tools -- Commonlook Validator would not open the file and Axes PDF Quick Fix showed a large bounding box around…

Index Build Failed
I have set scheduled runnig a batch file whcih indexes over 200,000 PDF files every weekend. However index creating has become failed since the week before last and not be able to create .idx files also.
The number of PDF files increases by about 100-200 during a each week, so that I suspect this problem is caused by excess of the max indexable number of PDF files.
[Questions]
1. Is there any threshold about the field of indexing?
2. Is this issue caused by intrinsic bug of Acrobat Pro DC?[Environments]

Allow Image Field in forms Sent for Signature
Issue: When preparing a form to send for signature, Image Field is an allowable field, and looks/works just fine in the preview. But during the step of upload/document processing (for signature), the image field is stripped out with no warning message or alert that the form you are about to send to your recipient for signature has been changed.
Enhancement rationale: Images are often a necessary component of prepared forms (need photo ID for an employment application, perhaps a pet photo for tenant screening, a voided check for ACH initiation, etc.). These forms require both images AND signatures.
So Adobe's…

Stop the stupid ******* Protected View

Annotations should appear above the image in a form image field
Currently when a user fills a form image field annotations are placed below this image, making it impossible (or arduous for the pdf creator) to annotate images that have been filled into the form.
Seeing as it's an intuitively powerfull tool to be able to annotate (nb. point out) things on an image I'd like to see this be easyer to accomplish/baseline.
See: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2467988
Thank you in advance for the consideration.

Move pages with numbers
In older versions of Acrobat, when you right click a page in page pane, it would have move which allowed you to type a number and page will move to take that position. This is important when you have more than 20 pages on a full screen. To move page 78 to page 4, just right click page 78, select move and type page number 4, Page 78 moves to page number 4. Dragging over left side up or down at times become sticky and have to do it in two or three parts.

Inserting a table
Inserting a table:
I have no idea how to insert a table in a PDF. The instructions say 'go to insert'. I cannot seem to find the icon- insert.
Pleaes help.1 voteThere is no concept of a table in a PDF file.
If you want dynamic table, you can add text form fields that are organized in a grid that resembles a table, but you would have to do this manually.
If you want to insert a static table, the best way to do this is to go back to the original application what was used to create this document (e.g. MS Word, InDesign …)Let us know if it resolves your issue.

Gaurav
