June 2021 Acrobat update won't copy/paste special characters on Mac
My Acrobat Pro was set to auto update and now suddenly I can't copy/paste special characters.
For example special letters in Spanish, French, German, Danish etc. Instead of letters it just leaves blank spaces in the document I paste into - no matter which application.
I have tested this on three different computers now (Mac), and they all have the same issue (Acrobat version 2021.005.20048).
I tested three other Macs with older versions and they worked fine, like mine did before the update.The above was tested on Macs and it does not matter if it is Mac OS…

when open more than 1 file, shows all files icon at taskbar but only the first one is useful to click and open, click all other following, nothing could happen, only to show you opened these? magic trick.

I HATE the new Acrobat interface!
I HATE the new Acrobat interface! The new tools toolbar is confusing and my old favorites ( "+" and "-") are missing. Missing also is the Hand icon. Are you guys crazy?

Bring back buttons for previous view and next view
Acrobat previously had an option to have buttons for "Preview View" (using a left arrow icon) and "Next View" (using a right arrow icon). This is no longer the case in the new user interface. Please allow this to be added to the customizable toolbar. Thank you.

PDF file appears twice on the taskbar
I am using Adobe PDF Reader, and when I first open a PDF file, it appears correctly as a single icon on the taskbar. However, when I move the window to another monitor using Win + Shift + Arrow key, the same PDF file appears twice on the taskbar—as if two instances of the same file are open.
I would like to resolve this issue so that only one taskbar icon is shown, even after moving the window to another monitor.

I just updated Adobe Pro and am annoyed to see that “AI Assistant” has been added to the “tools.’ I cannot use AI in my publications.
Create an update option without AI Assistant. Don’t make us remove it: many of us don’t trust having it on there in the first place.

Export to MS Word without putting every **** piece of text in a text box
I can see certain documents were created in MS Word with simple follow on/flowing text and standard paragraph styles ie no **** text boxes. Even with the export options turned off, Acrobat does this incredibly annoying export to text boxes where it is simply run-on (flowing) text. You then have to extract the text, box by box to get the document to be in an editable form. Even exporting to rtf has similar issues. Exporting to plain text means you have to format.
In the end, you waste valuable time either extracting the text or having to reformat the text…

I downloaded the DC Pro update and it said that if I opened the download it would damage my computer. Why am I downloading your updates?
Why does it say the update could damage my computer. I am sick of seeing update notifications and then after downloading the update it says this could damage my computer. Get your act together and stop doing this to your customers.

importXFAData stopped working with latest Acrobat Pro DC update
Using PDF XFA forms created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4. Data stored in a Microsoft Access database is converted to an XML file and then imported into a blank PDF XFA form using importXFAData. My workgroup has been using this feature for over three years with huge success/satisfaction. With the recent update, the xml import stopped working leaving the PDF form fields blank. Any work around or update planned?

Some Update Suggestions
Please allow us to move the tools around and add all tools to our favourites. I can't stand having to search for the "add stamp" or other tools I use daily every single time I need it. As well, there are too many steps to get to the stamp. The old way was simpler and much faster & user friendly.
The create & manage stamp portion does not work so anyone who needs to add a stamp to the document cannot do so and our company uses this daily.

Missing Ctrl+5 shortcut icon to toggle between thick and thin lines as in old UI
New UI is not so user friendly. Please feedback to your development team that we hope to see the same good features from the old UI. For example, the Ctrl+5 shortcut icon is missing in new UI. We prefer just one click to toggle between thick and thin lines as in old UI.

unable to save/update existing .pdf
When trying to save an edited .pdf, "the file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder" error pop-up is presented. I am the only user with it open, I have made edits to the document (not read only) and, in several cases, I am the creator of the document.

ISSUES SINCE LATEST UPDATE
I fill out forms all day long. It is 60% of my business. I chose to purchase Adobe because it saved me hours. Since the last update it has increased my time spent handling these forms. 1. The auto detect for box size is gone, it just puts everything in billboard size letters and I have to change every line. 2. I can begin to fill, but then it locks up and shuts down. Allow the Creation of Multiple Highlight Pin Icons to Set for Different Colors
Using CTL-E to set the Default Pin Color for the Highlight Icon is slow and requires several steps. Please allow for the creation of multiple highlight pin icons that a user can just select the required Color Highlight Icon for a one-set quick change of color.
