  1. The function to automatically and customizeable renaming of formular fields is needed!!!
F.E.: If you want to deploy 500 checkboxes - you have to copy them and change name by clicking every box or deploy them one after another. This is absolute horrible.

It would be very helpful to have a function which can do this:
    - Mark the fields you want
    - Change name with a given name and f.e. growing numbers for the marked fields.

Please integrate soon. It wastes so much time.

  3. Bug: Microsoft Word Picture DISTORTED
    OS: Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11980HK @ 2.60GHz (3.30 GHz)

In Microsoft Word, I added a picture and “picture format” appeared.
Then in "Picture Styles, I selected “Drop Shadow Rectangle" (the fourth option). Everything looks perfect.

Then, I created the pdf. Unfortunately, the style that Word created on the right side of the picture is distorted.

This error began on June 5th.

Before that date, the picture was fine as usual. Now it is not.

    1. Word document - fine
    2. PDF SHOWS STRANGE MARKS ON THE RIGHT AND BOTTOM of picture.
    3. PDF with "X"…

  4. After marking up edits (using the Comments tools of Strikethrough, Replace text and Insert text) in PDF proofs generated by InDesign, I want to be able to view and copy the edited text as it will now apppear, without the mark-up. This is because it is extremely difficult to read and understand the result of numerous complex edits in the PDF, and also I want to send the revised text to other people to check that the final version reads ok. So I envisage it as selecting the edited text in the PDF and being able to copy and paste…

  6. I recently noticed that Adobe included a dedicated "Night Mode" on the mobile version of acrobat reader in the latest update. I used it & it's great. To tell the truth, I had to use another third-party pdf reader whenever I needed to read pdf in Dark Mode. That problem is solved a little bit because of the dedicated "Night Mode" on the mobile version. But I still have to face hassle on the pc. I searched on the Internet. It told me to change the color options in the accessibility. It doesn't always help, to be honest. Some pdfs…

  7. Need a keyboard shortcut for IMAGE tools - i.e, once I select one or more images in "PDF EDIT" mode, I don't want to use the mouse to always go select the tool I need (for me, it's "Crop Image" that I am constantly clicking).

    Thank you for listening.

  8. Whose stupid idea was it to make drag and drop also copy pages when in the organize pages tool? And then why doesn’t ctrl z undo that copy and reselect the pages? This is literally how everything else works.

But somehow a slight slip in this program means I need to close the file, don’t save and reselect 200 pages again to delete them because of this.

Need Info  ·  Vivek Chandra responded

    Hi

We tried with several files and dragging does not copy the pages.
Is it specific to some files or is there a defined way to replicate it?
If file specific, can you please share the files with us?

This would help us investigate faster.

    Thanks
    Vivek

  9. The new version of e-signature does not work. I could not work out how to add a password to authenticate the document on the signer's end. This is a non-negotiable. We are required to do this and is a very simple process with the old version.

Futhermore, once you have filled in a doc and click the request signatures, it starts overriding the information you have already entered. This ruins the whole process and makes it unusable.

Thankfully we can revert to the old version. I'm not sure how you though this new version would be accepted?

  11. Its very annoying that you can't replace a page in Acrobat without losing page numbers, text boxes and images. This would be very helpful. Also just trying to copy and paste a text box is an absolute headache.

  12. Following a recent upgrade to DC from XI, I have an issue with images in .docx files not being rendered by PDFMaker.

Attached is a sample source file together with output from the Adobe PDF driver and from PDFMaker.

The issue may be triggered by the insertion format of the image: the workaround is copy it out to an image editor then paste back as DIB.

Note that this is definitely a regression from the XI PDFMaker which performed fine on the same files only a couple of months ago.

PS Why on earth does PDFMaker not use…

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting this issue. We’ve fixed this issue in our latest update. You could manually update Acrobat/Reader, if your product is not auto updated.
Help Menu > Check for updates.

    Best Regards!

  13. When copying form fields, Acrobat automatically makes identical copies. If I copy a page and fill in the first page, the fields on the second page are automatically filled out with the same info. The only way to couteract this without having java scripting knowledge is to manually change the name of every field. This is frustrating when you have 100 fields that need to be identical on 20 pages, but filled out with different info. This should be a standard option. Preferrably while copying, acrobat could ask if you want the new copies linked with the originals…

  15. Searching for Words will sometimes end in more than one result on each page of a multi page document.

What i would like to suggest today is having a shortcut for "Find on next Page".

This will be very useful if you have e.g. a stack of independent invoice pages an looking for a specific invoice containing the search pattern. If the search pattern was found multiple times on each page, it's a bit annoying to walk throu each result on a single page while avaiting a next result on another page.

Can be gladly realized using a combination of…

  19. Ok here is the issue,

When I edit PDF file using Arabic text, everything ( to some extent is fine )
But if I just saved the file, then try to edit it again
( i.e. Change font, Change Color, Change size, edit the text it self )

Arabic letters would just go wrong, attached an image showing the issue.

I noticed that this only happen if ( Tashkeel ) is used.

I had the same issue on both Machines : Mac OS & Windows 10.

Also PDF attached with an example,
if you just tried to change the Text…
