  1. When typing Fill & Sign text, as soon as a Central European character is entered, Fill & Sign switches to another font. If the field is a comb field, it switches from a monospaced font to a proportional one and breaks the feature completely, the letters don't fit anymore into boxes that Adobe Reader shows.

    Additionally, even for normal text fields, this fallback means that different fields use different font depending on if any regional characters are there or not. The result looks inconsistent and ugly.

  3. If there was a refresh button maybe that would help. As it is now, I have to get into to Form setup and back out again, or keep on clicking on various fields until the correct values show up.

  4. Place image (click field, browse for image, image selected, fit with options to Fit Proportional to Image and Fit proportional to frame) in fillable, save-enabled PDF form via READER, not edit via Pro. This is to allow end users to place a logo in a standardized form (sponsorships, partnerships, etc). To limit this to Pro as a layout option only is such a waste.

  5. When editing previously created PDFs, the user should be able to drag a text box full of text over another to combine them. The user should be prompted as to how the text should be joined. Options should include append at the end, insert at the beginning, and insert at the selected point. This should be able to be done across different pages and perhaps between documents.

The measurement tool lacks any ability to change the text font, size, and color for measurement labels, the default is not sufficient especially because it tends to glitch and turn from an Ariel type font to a very spaced out Courier font which is not convenient for measuring small distances, the perimeter and area measure tool should also enable text callouts.

  8. The "Make Accessible" tool is making text disappear in the document. Working in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, 2015.006.30505. I opened the document, clicked on Tools, then Action Wizard, then Make Assessible. First fopur steps worked fine, but after runnuing the Document Pass and the Alt Text detection, text went missing in numerous places in the document. This is the fourth time this has happened. Look at the header on the first page.

  9. Recognize text in selected pages/thumbnails

    I want to open the thumbnail view, select the pages that need OCR, and then have the ability to right click and select an option like "Recognize text in selected pages."

    I work with a lot of files that have scanned images scattered among hundreds or thousands of pages that don't require text recognition; I want to select only the pages that require text recognition and apply OCR to those pages without having to keep updating the OCR page rage.   13. Should create a new mid level tier of Acrobat, call it Acrobat Desktop or something similar, and offer a $20/year subscription. Include basic reader functionality but add the ability to add text to existing PDF documents. As a casual user that might need to fill a form a few times a year I cannot justify a Professional subscription at $20/mo, but a basic Desktop subscription for $20/year I would sign up immediately.

  14. 1) In the old comment pane, there was text that accompanied each entry identifying it as an underline, strikethrough, replacement, or insert. Now, the text identifier is gone and we only have an arcane symbol. This is awful. I work with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat and this only makes it more difficult for them to understand the nature of my comments. Please bring back the text labels that identify comment pane entries as underlines, strikethroughs, replacements, or inserts.

  15. Text in PDFs is too light--much harder to read than in older versions of Acrobat Pro. Zooming in doesn't help. Please restore darker text to make documents legible without eyestrain!

  16. I currently have an embedded W-9 tax form on my website. This same form may be signed my thousands of users who are participants in my website's referral program. I need to export form field data like name, address and TIN to a single CSV so I can share with my accountant at year-end for 1099 processing. Currently, I can export the data to a CSV 1 file at a time (see screenshot 1).   17. Accessibility checkers (such as CommonLook) reject PDFs with visible digital signatures, presumably because they lack an Alt-Text feature like standard images have.

    We have new requirements to produce all documents for web postings as being accessible, which means we cannot use digital signatures until they become compliant with accessibility requirements.

    Please add Alt-Text capabilities or another means of making digital signatures accessibility-compliant. It would be nice if default Alt-Text could be set as part of the digital signature configuration (e.g., "Signature of John Smith".

  18. There needs to be an option to change the default text color when adding text to a PDF using "Edit" > "Add Text" option. I routinely add text in red to show what I am typing is my own text on a PDF. I do see that I have the ability to change the default text color for the "Type Text" option, however that is a different text box option that I do not like to use.   19. "box" around highlighted text cannot be removed; once a section of text is highlighted the text is "separated" from the rest of the text and cannot be "normalized" even if the color is removed using the properties function

  20. When you select text, the selected text must be displayed in the comments list. Without this function it is pointless to work with text. Look how it's done in Google Books.
