  2. Currently, PDFMaker tags table headers as <TH> when "Header Row" and/or "First Column" are checked in Word. However, it does not change the default scope, column span, or row span of the headers based on these values.

  3. I have purchased the full license for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I am requesting Adobe to create a way to always block Reader DC from ever downloading during scheduled updates. Reader DC always commandeers/overrides the default settings by file types and since I PAID for the full software product, I shouldn't have to reset my default program by file type literally every other day. Please change this. Please.

  4. Request:
    A Microsoft Word document can be either a .docx or .dotx, the difference is that when saving the .docx, the file is overwritten; when saving the .dotx, a new file is created. I propose a similar feature for PDFs.

    Use Case:
    I've created a fillable PDF and saved it as a PDF to a network share and SharePoint. People have the tendency to open it, fill it out (as they should) and then click save (or Ctrl-S, muscle memory). That commits those filled form fields to the file system such that the next person who opens…

  5. When I click on "sign" I do not get the sub-menu as shown in the tutorial. I see the icon (large circle with moving blue line) that typically indicates the software is "working". This never completes.

    I have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC 19.010.20069
    I checked preferences and signature is allowed.
    I'm signed in to Adobe - no issues.
    I don't see anything else to setup in my account to allow signatures.

  6. We have switched our email software to Outlook New. Since then, the Send function in Adobe no longer works. Previously, we could simply click on the envelope icon, select “Send by Email”, and a new email would open with the PDF attached.

    Currently, it is not possible to set Outlook New as the default email program. Adobe does not recognize it as an email application and shows the message that no email program is installed.

    This issue causes us significantly more manual work, as we now have to save documents separately and attach them manually to emails.

  8. Allow the user to enter an expiration date that will track the life of the agreement after all signers have signed. I want to track when all of my contracts end.Right now i have to catalogue the dates in a separate system.

  9. I have been making monthly payment for Acrobat Pro DC since last April, but now it is telling me that my subscription have expired. My last payment was Sept 27th. I should not be getting this message, and I see no way to fix it.

  11. This is a bug report. Typically Enhancing a scan triggers an error message (which is attached). This error message at the very beginning of the enhanced scan. The path shown in the error message does exist. I've reinstalled several times.

  12. after al long work with the fill&sign tool, didn't succeed to save the changes. I've received the message: "the operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error"

  13. When a popup asks me if I want to make Acrobat the default app for viewing PDFs, and I say "NO," I do not want to see that popup 100 more times, every time I open the app or log back in. NO MEANS NO. You even have a check box in the popup that says "Do not show this message again," and I have checked it. IT DOESN'T WORK. Please fix this, it is very annoying. Thank you.

  15. Prior to the most recent Acrobat update, I was able to use the Acrobat "Create PDF" plugin to create PDFs showing tracked changes. However, now the plugin automatically puts the file in "No Markup" view when it PDFs. This is very frustrating! The only way to create a PDF showing tracked changes is to print to PDF. The Acrobat plugin is now useless. Please fix this! The "Create PDF" plugin needs to PDF the Word file in whatever view is currently enabled (e.g., Simple Markup, All Markup, No Markup, Original) instead of Defaulting to the "No Markup"…

  16. When there are multiple PDFs open, it is difficult to tell which one is the active tab. I suggest a Preference option to use a different color for the active tab or have Acrobat do this by default; I doubt anyone would complain.

  17. On Adobe Acrobat DC for Mac, when trying to program a calculation, the Field Selection dialog box is much too small to see the field names, and it can't be enlarged! There doesn't seem to be a way to select the fields outside of the dialog box on the form, which would be very convenient and make sense. It makes it impossible to use the calculate feature if you have long field names, which Adobe creates by default.

  18. It currently works fine to embed 1080P videos in an adobe document. They play smoothly and the sound and video track nicely. But could you make the same thing possible for 4K and 8K videos. At this time the video is lagging / choppy and the video freezes and all you can hear is the audio. Thank you.

  19. Too much time is wasted by doing the simple little things and I want to address the little things that make PDF editing a big time consumer.

    1) When copy and pasting anything from images, Text and especially New Text Fields they should paste right on top of their duplicate by default location.

    A) It's easier to locate them
    B) Way too time consuming moving it back to the default location so then you can continue on and just keyboard arrow key them over and into place where you want

  20. Adobe Acrobat Reader crashes when I use the keyboard when QuickBooks is open. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2024.002.20687, 64-bit; Windows 10 on a PC; and QuickBooks Enterprise 23.0. When I hit any key, I get an error box titled "Windows - Entry Point Not Found", with the message "Exception Processing Message -xc0000139 - Unexpected parameters". When I click the "OK" button on the error message, the same error message reappears. The only way to get rid of the error message is to go into the Task Manager, select Reader, and end that task.
