  1. If I change the Simulation Preview profile in the Output Preview panel, it used to be that I would see my color simulated as if it printed/displayed in the other environment. Now, however, it's actually changing the color values to keep the same appearance. This is a bad idea. We need a way to turn this off or at least toggle it.

    I'm currently seeing this behavior in the 2024 version. I'm not sure with which version this changed.

  2. Whenever a digital signature field is added, we do not get the option to duplicate it. This would be very helpful in cases where same person has to sign on multiple pages in a document.
    At present, it is giving the option to duplicate across pages, however, it is not working nor it is giving any error message.
    Please include this feature in Acrobat, or grey out the duplicate across pages option.

  3. When I review a downloaded file or make changes to a document and go to save the file I get a blank "Save as PDF" window that never completes loading. If I use [ctrl][s] to save the file I get a message that I don't have write privileges for the document. The program worked fine until yesterday.

  4. Using CTL-E to set the Default Pin Color for the Highlight Icon is slow and requires several steps. Please allow for the creation of multiple highlight pin icons that a user can just select the required Color Highlight Icon for a one-set quick change of color.

  5. I get a "limit reached" message when installing DC on home PC. The "limit reached" message says my email has been used to activate the software on 2 computers.

    I'm signed into DC on my office PC and nowhere else that I can tell.

    I’m signed into Adobe Scan app on my phone but I don’t have DC installed on my phone.

  6. Please add a save permanently or set default option that will truly set defaults so users don't have to correct a bunch of settings after every reboot. Issue is with Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.

  7. The "Save As" function defaulted to "My Documents" the first time it was used after a new installation. Subsequent uses of "Save As" should ve defaulted to the location last used rather to temporary location as it happens currently

  8. File Save as should default to last saved folder NOT recent folders list so I have to constantly select the folder every time. Big hassle. Please fix.

  9. There is a major problem with OCR in Acrobat Pro CD. I have recognized (OCR) text in many documents. They still contain a lot of recognition errors in the hidden text used for search. When I try to use the function/tool "Correct Recognized text" (translated from Norwegian), I get a message saying that there are no suspected errors. It is not possible to correct the remaining errors. This is just stupid, there is no 100% correct OCR program, there are lots of errors in the recognized text.   11. When sending a document for E-Signature. I send a different document to every user. But it is always the same email message on the Review and Sign page. However, I am not able to copy and paste a message in that field. I always have type a long message to the recipient every time.

  12. Adobe Acrobat Pro won't remember magnification setting (fit page) after save and close. If I reopen the file after quitting Acrobat it shows the previous default setting. If I force quit and reopen then the change shows. Seems its caching the old settings unless I force quit to clear.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
    You can get your desired results by following the below steps:
    1) Open a pdf
    2) Right click and go to document properties.
    3) click on initial view tab
    4) Select desired ‘Window options’ & save

    After doing the above steps whenever you relaunch the pdf, you’ll get the desired page fit (you selected).

  13. When installing a package created for Apple Silicon macs, the installer will fail unless Rosetta is already installed. Rosetta is only required when you are attempting to run an x86 application on Apple Silicon, so this feels like a bug. The installer fails with no indication of what the problem is and the logs do not help. I stumbled upon the fix by accident. It should be noted that Rosetta is not installed by default on M1 Macs and is only invoked when you attempt to run an "Intel" application. The installer is for Apple Silicon, so it does not…

  14. We need the ability to convert folders/subfolders containing .msg files to a PDF Portfolio file. But the .msg extension is not a supported extension for conducting this conversion. The only way to do it is to create a folder in Outlook and drag all of the .msg files into the folder, which isn't practical and is an extra step. All of the other Microsoft file types seem to be supported (docx, xlsx, pptx, etc.), so I'm not sure why the .msg file type isn't supported.

  18. Customize Shortcuts on Home Screen • I would like to be able to select or "Pin" the tools I actually use to the top of the Home Screen. Acrobat selects the tools at the top of the Home Screen, but the default choices (which change from time to time) are NOT based on my actual usage.   19. I customized my toolbar, digging through various menus to add the buttons I use frequently. Today Acrobat DC installed an update, and now my customized toolbar is back to the default. It's taking me forever to find the features I use and re-add them to my toolbar. I have deadlines! I have time pressures! I don't need this ****! I customized my toolbar for good reasons! Why can't my toolbar buttons stay where I put them???

  20. Although tagging Arabic content shows in Acrobat, however it doesn't display correctly in Tags panel, neither Content panel displays Arabic content properly, nor the Order panel.
    "Read Out Loud" feature pronounce each Arabic character independently which drives a listener mad, I'm afraid.
