Fluent Icon design for Microsoft Office add-ins on Windows
The Acrobat section in Microsoft Word's ribbon uses icons that do not match the native design on Windows or Microsoft Office. A new icon set would look nice. It's just a few icons, so it would not be a lot of work.

Option that allows for only one window to open on taskbar when you hover or click on Adobe
Currently when you have more than one thing opened and you want to get back to it and you don't have Adobe open it brings up all your tabs and then you have to click on the specific one. I want to have an option that allows you to just click on the program and for it to open right away on the last tab you were on rather than having that extra step of clicking on the specific PDF ever time

New Toolbar Suggestion
Former versions of Acrobat (I believe versions 10 and below), prior to Acrobat DC, had the capability of showing tools on two rows at the top of the document pane and suggest consideration for returning to that type of user interface.
The lack of colorization of icons in DC, the basic shapes and the inability to show nearly all tools in the toolbar makes it very difficult and time consuming to edit and markup documents. Detailed, colorized tool icons of old, combined with the ability of truly customizable, multiple toolbars would make Acrobat much more productive.
Is there any way…

Add emojis/icons to the comments section
Reviewers on separate forms, comments can:
go to ... > Set Status > then select Accepted, Cancelled, Completed, Rejected.
Reviewers in share mode are even more limited:
... > Resolve
These are inconvenient paths to say you agree with something, also all these words imply finality rather then collaborative thinking.
Option 2: Reply by writing out the words.
When going over a 100+ page document with as many comments writing a full reply is time consuming.Adding a thumbs up emoji/icon or even give a stamp option inside of the reply that says agree (regardless of the review type) would…

New Display is HORRIBLE
New layout for Adobe is horrible!
Why did Adobe change something that wasn't broken?
All of the icons/buttons used to be along the top ribbon of the screen and now there's some on the left, some on the right and some on the top. And now I can't even find some (for example insert text box and take a snapshot) that I use constantly.
I had everything customized as I use Adobe constantly in my job and now this is causing me a lot of unnecessary stress.
Adobe should offer their customers the option of reverting back to the…86 votes -
Acrobat icon in Windows 10 menu
I have already reported the fact that, when installing or updating Adobe Acrobat (which happens rather often), the program icon in the Windows menu is incorrect. I know how to bypass the problem by creating manually the good icon, but each time Acrobat is updated, this bad icon reappears (see screenshot).
This is a VERY long lasting bug. So please, fix it!!!
Thank you
28 votesHi,
Could you please try the following steps and let us know if the issue is resolved:
• Delete Adobe Acrobat icon from the Start Menu, the desktop and from the taskbar.
• Go to C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs and you’ll find the " Adobe Acrobat DC " with the wrong icon. The that looks like a shortcut. Delete it and close the window.
• Go to C: > Program Files (x86) > Adobe > Acrobat DC > Acrobat and find Acrobat.exe
• Right click on Acrobat.exe > Send to > Desktop
• Right click again on Acrobat.exe > Pin to Start Menu… and close the window
• Right click on Acrobat.exe – shortcut (that you just created on your desktop) > Copy
• Go back to: C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs… and Paste the… -
new update
New Adobe Update August 2023
go to File
3/4 the way down is
"Disable New Update"The update is a terrible idea. Moving menus to the opposite side, making the icons smaller.
There should be a tutorial how to customize the look and in the tutorial how to change it back or to keep adobe working as it was previously. Terrible re-design. Leave it alone!!!

I HATE the interface - I hate it I hate it I hate it!
The GIANT icons! The in-app sending that doesn't work! The childishness of the design and interface! The distance from the powerful controls that I have come to use and count on from decades of using Acrobat pro and seeing it grow in capacity and power.
Every
Single
Time
I open this, save a document, send a document, reset the screen again to show thumbnails, I curse you all.
How can it be both harder to use and more childish?35 votesHi,
Apologies for the inconvenience caused !
Could you please let me know the exact issue you are facing so that I can suggest a workaround.
Thanks & Regards,

Give option to revert to classic page view
Hate this new format. The sidebar icons are too small. The quick tools is not intuitive. Why was it necessary to move the pages and bookmarks to the right when we are accustomed to seeing them on the left. Really frustrated that I can't revert to classic layout or rearrange the tool bars to my preferences. I also don't like that I can't remove drawing and signing from the quick toolbars. I rarely use those features. Just a really poor update with no recourse for the user.

Ditch the 2023 User Interface in Acrobat
There are so many shortcomings and problems with the new 2023 GUI interface. Here are just a few:
Swapping left and right-hand panels for no reason. This does not improve anything for users. It just forces users to change everything about how they work in Acrobat every workday.
Functions are indicated by random icons. In the 90s, we learned that icons in software and websites don't work across different populations. Users have a difficult time figuring out what the heck they mean. Give text labels.
The left panel is permanently positioned on the screen and obscures part of the…

New Acrobat: Wish List for a Better Interface
What users need in the new interface...
Fellow users, please add or vote up the features that are most critical for you.
(Interface-related only, not new features or utilities.)ONE:
A totally customizable set of toolbars — left, right, top, and bottom of the application window, and also on a side monitor.— User determines which toolbars are visible.
— User can dock or float them anywhere, including on a second monitor that's outside the application window.
— User chooses which tools are in each toolbar.
— User chooses whether each tool/utility is represented as an icon only, icon +…

Brilliant idea: let users customize their interface
I don't want the forced tools on top, including Home, Tools, Document, and several of the page display icons. I'm a genius and I'll offer a brilliant idea: let users customize their own screen!
When the window isn't maximized, there's insufficient room for all the tools, and the default unwanted ones prevent the ones I need from being displayed! When the + and - zoom icons aren't shown, they're also not even listed behind the 3-bullet icon on the far right! This is obviously a bug. It's further difficult since Acrobat refuses to zoom when using Ctrl-scroll on a…

The new layout with for Adobe Pro is much harder to navigate
The new layout with for Adobe Pro with the tools on the left and the pages/bookmarks on the right is much harder to use. After so many years, why were they switched around? Please bring back the search field so that I can find tools. Everything I use is now hidden under layers of menus and really small icons.

remove SHARE - FEEDBACK and HELP buttons from top right toolbar.
Allow users to remove these buttons as they take up quite a lot of space. ADOBE continues to worsen the user experience using this PAID app, by forcing icons in valuable real-estate.

Adobe Acrobat Pro XI vs. Adobe Acrobat DC
Can we get the Acrobat XI version of the Scanning stuff back? This multiple page setup in order to get to scanning a document is horrendous. When you update things, try to avoid bloating them into more steps, more bells and whistles that are just eye candy and do little to enhance anything....I like when we go update and find out that the newer version has less garbage on it, less junk added to it for overall performance gain instead of the industry standard of new versions = more bloated programming = less productivity and horrible GUI - Why does…

Why Change the Layout?
I have been using Adobe Reader for a little while now as have many others and am curious if anyone at all ever asked for a new layout? I am very used to the locations on the old ones and now I have to wander around figuring out where any little thing is located and what the new silly little icons mean. This was force fed by an automatic update and it is awful. If its not broke.....
