"Save As" Should Default To Same Folder As Source Files
- Select 2 PDF files is the same folder to combine.
- Combine then Adobe Acrobat DC.
- Choose "Save As".
The default folder seems to be a random place on my computer. It's never the same folder as the one with the two files that I just combined. And it takes a bunch of typing or clicking to get back to the original folder.
This happens every single time I combine files, making it really tedious to do something that should be easy.
Please set the default folder for 'Save As...' equal to the folder where I opened the files.

Not all Comments showing by default in commented PDF
Open PDF – note that Acrobat DC reports one comment in sidebar on right of window.
This is on Acrobat Pro DC, up-to-date (version 2021.001.20155), Running on MacOS Catalina (v.10.15.7). Comments were made on Acrobat Reader DC for PC, (version 2021.001.20138)
Expected result – should display the amount of total comments in the PDF.
Observed result – only displays comments once those pages are navigated to or scrolled past.
This has been reproducible on multiple versions of MacOS

Updating Message when sending document for signing
When sending a document to be signed, the Message used to display as 'Please review and complete this document. Now it just shows as Message and you need to manually add in the message every time a document is sent to be signed. This is when using Adobe Acrobat Cloud.

Set Default Link Actions (zoom especially)
I make ADA Accessible documents. Inherit Zoom is a necessary thing.
When I need to combine multiple pdf files into one document I often create a narrative that includes links to other pages of that document. I back up those links with bookmarks.
While it's quite easy to change all of the bookmark actions at once to Inherit Zoom, it's not so easy to change the links.

The Set Default Bookmark Zoom Level menu item is now added to the PDF bookmark options. While creating a new bookmark, you can easily use this option to set the default zoom level. By default, the Inherit Zoom option is selected.
Also, Acrobat now provides an option in the bookmark properties to retain the destination page number when you adjust the zoom level of multiple bookmarks.
Please update your Acrobat (It should Auto update or you should do Help → Check for updates) and let us know your Feedback.

Set a default order for when combining files
Rather than re-ordering and re-arranging pdfs within a combined file, I would like to be able to determine the order files are compiled. This can be by file title (alphabetically) or others. Right now when I combine several files into one pdf, they are scrambled out of order and I have to rearrange manually which can be cumbersome for larger compilations.

"Enable Scrolling" DEFAULT On/Off Setting in Preferences -> Page Display
On the new Acrobat, there is no setting to change the default for this. It defaults to ON at all times. I am a legal professional, and this would be a big improvement for me. Users who regularly navigate long PDFs of hundreds of pages or more would benefit from having this setting OFF when opening documents, instead of having to disable it every time. Customized pre-populated form message
I include the same message with each form I send out for signature. Rather than having to copy/paste it into each individual form, I would like to save my customized message so that it pre-populates on each form automatically. The current message, which I have to delete each time to enter my own message, says: Please review and sign this document.

Insert and replace default color
When using the "Add note to replace text" (insert and replace) commenting tool, it is impossible to edit the default color of the replacement mark using Properties. This used to be possible, and is still possible for other commenting tools. (Adobe Acrobat Pro via Creative Cloud on MacOS 12.6.7)

Adobe Send and Track Outlook 2016 Compatibility
have been using Adobe Send and Track with Office 2013 with no issue. However, I few months back our company has upgraded our office suite to the 2016 version. Since then the outlook plugin has been having all sorts of issues and is not working correctly.
The reason for the upgrade to 2016 is because Microsoft no longer supports 2013 versions. Does anyone have a resolution to why it does not work with the 2016 version. Is adobe aware of this issue? On the website it states that it is only compatible with 2013, but the upgrade is necessary. Since…

Duplication of Sender Message into Comments
When we share for review, the sender message option is causing duplication of email notifications.
Even if we do not input anything into the sender message when we share a file, a generic message is added into the email notification that is sent to all recipients, and then 30 seconds later, that generic message is added automatically as a comment to the shared file. The comment generates 2nd email notification that is going out to all recipients letting them know there is a comment added to the link. So for every shared file, each recipient gets two emails back-to-back.

Font default setting ineffective for add text comment
A couple weeks ago I set my font in preferences/content editing/font options as 10 point Cambria. Every day the first time I type comments on a PDF the font that starts off is 12 point Helvetica. As far as I can tell Acrobat Standard DC makes no use of the information a user puts into preferences/content editing/font options.I don't care that much about whether I am typing in Helvetica versus Cambria but I correct the Acrobat font from 12 point to 10 point every workday.
