2. Comment Arrow

   The arrow in the comment section will not change color... It seems to be locked, but when i click on Properties the Locked box is uncheck. The only way to change the color is to make it a default, every time.

3. Possible Bug

   When creating a text field, under the General tab, where the Form Field is set to "Visible", if under the Format tab you enter the following custom script (for example):

   var message = 'Title'
   if (event.value == '') {
   event.target.display = display.noPrint
   event.value = message
   } else {
   event.target.display = display.visible
   }

   Saving the PDF apparently corrupts the file in some way where when you attempt to re-open it, it causes Acrobat to crash and the pdf is unrecoverable. When the Form Field is set to "Visible but doesn't print" no error occurs.

4. New Document Preparation automatic tool

   I would like to be able to select the Font, Font Size & the type of check box Adobe DC uses when a document is being prepared automatically. Currently I must go in and manually change these attributes each time a new document is prepared. I use font size 12, Font type Helvelica Bold and a square for the check box. Don't understand why a tool was created that only does half the job. I need to be able to change these 3 attributes to the default before I run the prepare form tool.

5. BUG - PDF Maker will not print PDF with any file containing Calibri font

   Create a document in Word, Excel, or Outlook with Calibri font and try to print to PDF. You will get the attached error message and no PDF will be created.

   depuis la nouvelle version, Acrobat ralenti constamment. Lorsque j'ouvre un fichier pour lecture, je dois attendre quelques secondes avant de faire quoi que ce soit et même cliquer sur le document, Il ne répond plus. Lorsque je veux fermer un document, il ne répond plus pendant quelques seconde. J'ai constamment le message ne répond plus.

7. Add Mac share menu button

   May you kindly add a share button so that we can share open documents with other options on the Mac, See attached picture, due to lack of this functionality I end up reverting to Preview as default for all pdf documents.

8. Acrobat DC's textual and visual compare

   adobe acrobat DC's textual and visual compare is not very useful unlike the compare feature that acrobat x pro has. Is there anyway that these features may be added? The compare results of the DC version is such a mess, its hard to track the changes. Unlike the compare feature that the X pro has. Thanks

9. Embedded Scale

   Bug Report: Adobe Acrobat Pro isn't reading the embedded scale of a PDF. Measure tool is measuring at the default scale 1:1 inch. When I open the same document in Foxit, the distance tool measures at the embedded scale as expected.

10. Change blue color for fillable form

    I want to change the default highlight color for fillable form boxes. The automatically generated baby blue clashes with all the other colors in my layout. I know I can change it in my personal preferences, but I need to change it for the document so the recipient has the desired viewing experience.
    Users have been asking about this issue for at least seven years now – what's so hard about changing the highlight color for the document (again, NOT my personal settings)? I can change the text and box color once the field is selected, but the default box is always baby blue.

11. Save Downloaded File in Any Location

    Now when you download a file from the web and have Acrobat installed as the default handler, it automatically downloads the file on Windows to C:\Downloads, not to the actual configured downloads folder, which might be on another drive or in a different location. Acrobat should have a configuration which A) allows you to configure a default location, or B) Asks everytime, defaulting to the last, where to save the file.

    The amount of time spent Saving-As then deleting the originally downloaded file is stupid.l Just let us put the file where we want it from the start.

    All browsers have this capability. Word works this way. Pretty much everything except Acrobat works this way.

    So the workflow now is:
    1) download file
    2) open in acrobat
    3) save-as to the correct folder {with the correct name if appropriate}
    4) delete the original downloaded file from the download location

    Workflow could be:
    1) Download the file, asking where to save, and the name to save
    2) Open the file

12. filter failed error message when printing to HP Laserjet P1102w

    Recently when I try to print PDFs to my HP LaserJet P1102w, from a mac running Catalina 10.15.5, the documents don't print and there is an error "filter failed." This does not happen when I try to print Word documents. I am connected to the printer via a USB cable. I am able to print to other HP printers in the house. I have tried removing and reinstalling the printer driver, but this does not fix the problem and I still get an error "filter failed."

    Because this only happens when trying to print PDFs, I think this may be an Adobe bug, something that might have come in with some sort of Adobe update.

    I have an Adobe Creative Suite subscription and am running Adobe Acrobat DC

13. Send PDF as E-mail attachemet

    Since the latest Adobe update (version 2019.008.20074), it now requires to save the PDF, then the right pane appears and you need to select "Send as Attachment", then select default and/or custom mail application before the mail application is actually launched. This is so cumbersome compared to what it was in the previous versions.
    Why make use jump through so many hoops when it worked fine before? Can we set our defaults so it will turn into a 'One button' operation, or are we at the mercy of the adobe bureaucracy?

    Now we must every time get diverted and click on attachment and continue to attach every single PDF in an email to Outlook. This creates a lot of work for no valid reason. EVERY user of Outlook is now going thru these extra steps for no valid reason. STOP IT.

15. Please fix the deskew feature in Adobe Pro DC

    I used to deskew in Adobe Acrobat Pro whenever I OCR'ed a document. And the deskewing worked so well: every page would be rotated a tiny amount and usually the improvement was noticeable.

    In Adobe Acrobat DC (on macOS 10.15.7), the "Recognize Text" function no longer performs deskewing. So I OCR and deskew using the "Enhance" function under Scan & OCR:

    Scan & OCR > Enhance > Scanned Document > Deskew

    However it doesn't seem to work. Although the Deskew feature is turned on in Filters under Settings, when I run Enhance, it doesn't actually deskew. (And worse, unless I change the default image quality to High Quality, the image is degraded.) I thought maybe my documents were all 100% aligned. But then I ran into a document that clearly needed deskewing and nothing happened when I deskewed.

    It seems to me that from one version to the next, routine tasks should become more convenient to perform. This is not what's happened.

16. Text Box should have Opaque option - Transparent is imposed by default which allows Background image to be visible in text box

    Add a feature to the Add Text function in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC so that a user can choose Opaque for a text box and avoid a Background image being visible through the text box. Also, the user should be able to choose a solid color to appear behind the text in the text box. This feature is so basic that it should have been in the product from the start. Photoshop Elements has had it for a long time!

    When you insert a page into a document, make the default directory for the document to be inserted the same as the document it is being inserted into. Or allow the user to set preferences that include this.

18. Recent documents keep disappearing

    Links to my recent documents keep disappearing from the Recent list. The message says: "There aren't any recent files". Acrobat is currently up to date on my Windows 10 laptop. This is happening sporadically, with recent docs appearing as expected for some time, then vanishing without explanation, sometimes while I'm looking at the list Acrobat Pro DC.

19. Add auto-refresh (option) for externally modified PDF files

    When you work on presentation or anything else in another application (e.g. Keynote or PowerPoint) you can browse the final result of slides in PDF format by using Acrobat Reader. In this cases every time you export updated version of the PDF file you have to close the older version, and reopen the file. It's really annoying and takes a lot of time.

    I personally experience it while working with LaTeX that doesn't have a viewer. So, you quite often "export" to PDF and view via Acrobat. I have already seen other people that look for this feature and gave exactly the same scenario.

    I can understand that having it enabled by default could be risky. For example when user edit some forms and this could destroy his work. This is why I think it should be an option - disabled by default. Or simple detect forms and disable auto-refresh only for these files.

20. Show review status as finished to the originator

    Bug: I have an issue where I am not receiving "finished review" notifications from some reviewers. However I am receiving notifications for comments.

    As a feature request, the originator should be able to track the status of a review. Currently only the reviewer can see the status.

    The status should be available for all reviewers. Ideally on the Share panel.
