  1. When opening a PDF file from Microsoft Edge browser the file now opens using a default Microsoft pdf reader of some sort. I checked to make sure that acrobat was the default application for opening .pdf files but that makes no difference. Adobe help desk said this is because of the latest windows update and the latest adobe acrobat update as well. This is really frustrating and makes workflow inefficient. Please fix this so acrobat can be used when opening .pdf files from browsers (had same problem with Chrome so does not seem to be a browser specific problem).

  2. I want to change the default highlight color for fillable form boxes. The automatically generated baby blue clashes with all the other colors in my layout. I know I can change it in my personal preferences, but I need to change it for the document so the recipient has the desired viewing experience.

  3. On a Mac in Default Mode, it should be possible to copy highlighted text by using the keyboard shortcut.

    Now, all you can do is select the highlighted parts and right-click -> Copy Text. Why shouldn't it be possible to select the highlighted parts and press Cmd+C?

    Doing the extra clicking work is very labor intensive when working with a lot of previously highlighted paragraphs.

  4. I used to deskew in Adobe Acrobat Pro whenever I OCR'ed a document. And the deskewing worked so well: every page would be rotated a tiny amount and usually the improvement was noticeable.

    In Adobe Acrobat DC (on macOS 10.15.7), the "Recognize Text" function no longer performs deskewing. So I OCR and deskew using the "Enhance" function under Scan & OCR:

    Scan & OCR > Enhance > Scanned Document > Deskew

  5. Why does it always default to THREE almost never used menus opening every single time I open the app? Literally every single time I want to just look at a PDF I have to close three distracting and/or pointless menus of features we never use but you're presumably trying to ram down our throats?

Since the update this past week (October 2018), Adobe has made it harder to find things that used to be easy to find, and now it takes forever or completely lags when I try to find whether I have sent something to someone using the interface on my desktop for the old Send and Track feature (which apparently is now called 'Share' another renaming that threw me off this week).   7. Revert to 2017 interface for scanning. if i want to switch between one side and two sides, I have to change the default setting each time. same with page size. I attached the older interface. Much easier to use.

  8. Legitimately everyone who has ever posted on this forum about this feature hates it. GET RID OF IT ALREADY! Nobody wants or needs the bookmarks tab to open by default. It is the most irritating thing on the planet!

  9. I've been using digital signatures in Adobe Acrobat for YEARS. Just got a new PC for work and digital signatures are not working properly or consistently. Documents that need signatures always need two. The second person (no matter who it is) always has problems and the experience changes each time. Sometimes, the certification toolbar won't come up. Since the latest Adobe update (version 2019.008.20074), it now requires to save the PDF, then the right pane appears and you need to select "Send as Attachment", then select default and/or custom mail application before the mail application is actually launched. This is so cumbersome compared to what it was in the previous versions.
    Why make use jump through so many hoops when it worked fine before? Can we set our defaults so it will turn into a 'One button' operation, or are we at the mercy of the adobe bureaucracy?

  12. Bug: I have an issue where I am not receiving "finished review" notifications from some reviewers. However I am receiving notifications for comments.

    As a feature request, the originator should be able to track the status of a review. Currently only the reviewer can see the status.

    The status should be available for all reviewers. Ideally on the Share panel.

  13. Wow. I LOVE your products, but HOLY S&*T was it difficult to get to a point where I could actually "Contact" adobe. As a professional UX designer (sorry for how that must sound...) this UX is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable for a company of your prestige.

    Here is my issue, I used to be able to drag .png files into Adobe Acrobat and the software would brilliantly ask me if I wanted to combine these pngs into a single file, "Why yes, Thats exactly what I want! Thank you."

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  14. We have clients reporting an issue that causes an inconsistant behaviour and user experience opening PDF files that contains LiveCycle XFA forms.

    Our users receive PDF generated files from government containing those XFA forms with filled data. If user open that PDF file on Adobe Reader, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or any other PDF reader other than Adobe Acrobat Pro, they see filled data regarding "person A". If they open the same file on Adobe Acrobat Pro, as Acrobat Pro can identify that LiveCycle XFA form, it shows different filled data "person B".

  16. When selecting print to Adobe PDF, there should be an option to print a physical copy to the default printer at the same time as saving the document in a file location. This is a very common practice for many, and would save much time.

  17. When using Quickbooks to export pdf files for printing the Exception processing message 0xc0000139 unexpected parameters is presented. In a virtual environment, this happens daily and regularly. Often, restarting the session doesn't even fix the issue. It randomly fixes itself, the next day. This is a known issue, discussed on Adobe forums since 2021. For the CPA clients of Adobe this becomes a deal breaker.

  18. I recently reinstalled Adobe on my PC, after reinstalling it I now keep getting the Getting Started Pop up with every file I open. I open over a 100 PDF files a day so this gets really annoying really fast. Is there a bug in the system or something I'm not clicking on to make it recognize that these messages have already been shown to me?
