  2. The feature was available on early versions which made batch processing easier. I believe it allowed the user to Execute a Menu Item. Please bring it back. The javascript work arounds all seem to have their own little issues.

  3. An error occurred while trying to create a mail document. Adobe Acrobat is unable to complete your request.

  4. I had Adobe Pro 9. I used it at work to add stamps, and markup drawings. My machine was rebuilt and Adobe Standard XI was loaded. Very inefficient software for what I need. I searched for the comparison to XI Pro and am not convinced it is any better.
    Some issues: preloaded stamps cannot be removed, each stamp has to be selected every time (9 would remember the last used), you cannot copy multiple objects using the control button, you cannot save a custom sheet sized when printing (previously you could, issue of width/length for some sizes being backwards still…

  5. When I use the Combine Files feature with files named with numbers, they are sorted alphabetically rather than numerically.
    For example, instead of getting a file sorted:
    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, etc.
    I get this sorting:
    1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 20, 21, 22, 3, 30, 31, etc.

  6. Problem: I am unable to open a pdf (from hard drive i.e. desktop) while I am in the 'save as' menu for another pdf file.

    Reproduce:
    1. Opened an pdf from Microsoft Outlook.
    2. Went to file > "save as'
    3. Used windows explorer to open another pdf that was saved on windows cloud storage.
    4. Unable to open second pdf file.

    Environment: Windows 7; Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 04581.

    Expected Result: I should be able to open the second pdf file

    Observed result: Unable to open second pdf file

  7. Why doesn't Adobe set the default initial view magnification setting to "fit page" so a viewer can see an entire document upon initial view? As a seasoned graphic designer, I believe it is much more courteous to allow the viewer to orient themselves to an entire document and then allow then to zoom in for more detail. It is disconcerting to see a partial document when opening a PDF file. Adobe is a leader in accessibility standards and I wondered if you had insight into this topic, I don't see a recommended initial view magnification in the WCAG 2.0 AA…

  9. When I use the Google Drive File Picker in Adobe Sign and trying to search, the result is always blank. The same search in Google Drive shows the files I'm looking for.
    macOS 10.12.6 using Chrome Version 60.0.3112.90.
    The problem occurs on different adobe sign accounts and different laptops.

    We apologise for the issue you are facing. We need some more information from you to be able to investigate this further:
    1. Do you see a completely blank file picker dialog? Or you see the file list but search returns 0 results in Google Drive files?
    2. Can you please try quitting all Chrome browser instances (check that no Chrome instance is running in activity monitor) and then re-try?
    3. Do you observe the same on Windows too?

  13. Allow users to customize the toolbar- add some (not all) drawing markup tools, comment tools, editing tools, highlight tools, without having to add an entire group. There are tools in a group that I never use, but I must select a group and wait for it to load, rather than seeing all my frequent tools at one time.

  14. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to change the margins and the paragraph spacing on a simple document with just 4 pages.

    YOU MUST GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND MAKE YOUR TOOLS MUCH MORE USER FRIENDLY TO THE AVERAGE PERSON. UNTIL ADOBE FIGURES OUT HOW TO MAKE THEIR TOOLS MORE USER-FRIENDLY, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS IN THE MEANTIME. GREAT TOOLS AND RESOURCES - awful user-friendly applications.   15. I have received a redacted contract on Adobe Acrobat Standard DC that I use on Windows 7. When I hold down ctrl and scroll in (to zoom) the redacted information flashes and I can see what information is blacked out. I think the information should be securely blacked out so there is no possibility of obtaining that information.

  16. It would be good to have some sort of solution/ patch/ workaround/ update to prevent Google DocHub from being able to edit locked forms. I've noticed that by dropping an adobe pdf into DocHub does a few things:
    1. Even if document password protected to prevent editing it is easily editable and doesnt seem to honor those security settings
    2. When document is locked after signing DocHub allows all the previously fillable fields to be edited while still retaining the original signature
    3. even if a fillable form is converted to flattened copy, once dropped into DocHub all the fillable…

  17. I have recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. For my work, I need to mark-up PDFs using Comment tools. When I style some text as superscript using either the feature available in the box that appears when I right click or the shortcut ctrl/shift/+ and then close the pop-up box the styling becomes subscript instead of superscript. I used Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 for a long time and didn't have any problems. It is very frustrating that this doesn't work properly in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, especially as 'superscript' is offered as a feature in Comments

  18. I just installed CS6 Design & Web Premium but Acrobat Pro fails to install - period. I've tried 4 times now with the same failure (see attached screenshot). The website says I have 90 days of "Chat and Phone support" - but the support website is in an infinite loop - you never get a button to "chat" and no phone number is ever offered. How do I get help getting this installed?

  19. I can see certain documents were created in MS Word with simple follow on/flowing text and standard paragraph styles ie no **** text boxes. Even with the export options turned off, Acrobat does this incredibly annoying export to text boxes where it is simply run-on (flowing) text. You then have to extract the text, box by box to get the document to be in an editable form. Even exporting to rtf has similar issues. Exporting to plain text means you have to format.

    In the end, you waste valuable time either extracting the text or having to reformat the text…
