  1. The uselessness of the chopped up methodology to customize the quick menu is ridiculous. It would be much simpler if you adopted a process similar to that in Excel. Just where the h3ll is the zoom icon hiding.

  3. Internal hyperlinks, cross-reference hyperlinks, and TOC hyperlinks made in the latest version of MS Word 365 are not retained by PDF Maker.

    Affects: Word 365 version 2109 14430.20270
    Adobe Acrobat 2021.007.0095 and
Adobe PDF Maker 21 (Library 21.7.123)

These errors are in addition to others listed for PDF Mader at https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/44183082-accessibility-errors-with-pdf-maker-update-sept-20

Hyperlinks from Word are non-functional when exported to PDF via PDF Maker. Affects both traditional hyperlinks and accessible hyperlinks:

    — Traditional internal hyperlinks are not clickable.
    — Accessible internal hyperlinks are missing the <Link> / <Link-OBJR> compound tag that provides an accessible hyperlink.

    — TOC hyperlinks are…

Thanks for your patience. We have investigated this issue and found that this has broken with a recent Office update and would require a fix from Microsoft.

This has also been raised on Microsoft fourms in several threads and acknowledged and it seems they are investigating this issue. Please follow these threads for updates.

As a workaround, please revert to older version of Office to make links work.

    Thanks

  4. Remove some of the clutter on the top bar, it make so I can see only 2 or 3 tabs since the update.

I also wish you would allow us to make the checkmark smaller than the current smallest setting. It is clumsy for fine print text.

  5. It is extremely frustrating that the scroll bars are missing on the September 2023 release of Acrobat DC - they re-appear on a mouse click, but do not respond to Wacom pen. So to scroll through a PDF, the pen has to be put aside. This is slowing down my work considerably, and there has been a lot of frustration expressed in the Adobe Support Community, especially among Wacom users. This is not a behaviour that we can be expected to "get used to" or "love", as it has not been designed with the user in mind.

  7. I keep having an issue where adobe updates and when it updates it changes from 32bit to 64bit. This is a major issue since I use some software that is 32bit based and when adobe updates it can not communicate with this software. this is where I will have to manually uninstall the 64-bit version for the 32bit. I have tried a few regedits to try and fix this issue however it still manages to update, I have also tried disabling the update service and task schedule.

  8. You should make it optional to have either the icon tool bar or the same tool bar you have in Adobe Pro XI. To tell you that I HATE the icons is an understatement because you have to open them individually and it's hard to find what you are looking for. Meanwhile it makes me feel as if you think I'm stupid or an idiot. I'm fairly well educated and hate icons taking half of the page that could have been used for editing a document.

  9. Reviewers on separate forms, comments can:
go to ... > Set Status > then select Accepted, Cancelled, Completed, Rejected.
Reviewers in share mode are even more limited:
    ... > Resolve
These are inconvenient paths to say you agree with something, also all these words imply finality rather then collaborative thinking.
Option 2: Reply by writing out the words.
When going over a 100+ page document with as many comments writing a full reply is time consuming.

Adding a thumbs up emoji/icon or even give a stamp option inside of the reply that says agree (regardless of the review type)…

  11. Get rid of this portfolio garbage. Every update has only made the product more un-usable and worse. The next time you feel the urge to destroy what was a good product , please go find a coloring book and color a picture or something.

  13. When opening Acrobat DC on Mac OS (High Sierra 10.13.3) the icon 'bounces' in the dock, shows that it's open, then is unusable. If I click the icon in the dock, nothing happens. If I control-click, and select 'Show All Windows', a blue halo appears where an application screen should be, but there's nothing there. When selecting a PDF to open, if Acrobat is 'open' nothing happens. If it is not, it goes through the normal startup with the bouncing icon in the dock, then nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few different times now, as…

  14. I have works opened, and don't want to restart computer because Acrobat wants me to do that. Why I am forced?
Because after every update Acrobat can't save any new file I opened.
So after EVERY ipdate I can't use Acrobat till restarting my PC.
    Why is that?

  15. There is annoying bug when one moves Adobe Reader between monitors on Windows 11 24H2. After that, duplicate Adobe icons appear in the taskbar. Do you even test your software before releasing it?

  16. It's pointless to customize and 'show' tool icons in the toolbar, because those tools that I want and use are hidden under the 3 dots. And that happens because Home, Tools, Document, and My Account is stuck permanently and uselessly in the toolbar.

I have set the program to open multiple files in separate windows, so I don't need the Document tab. The Tools sidebar can be opened by clicking in the margin at the edge of the window, so I don't need that. And if users need to open and close files within the program (can't understand why),…

  17. This new thing you have where you require users to sign into your software EVERY DAY sometimes multiple times a day is buggy and annoying. If I try to print to PDF from Excel and I don't have the Adobe Acrobat open on my desktop and signed into my account, it won't print the PDF until I sign in. Additionally if I have a legacy PDF, and I'm not logged in when I try to print it, it often times corrupts the file and I have to create a new PDF. I'm not sure who thought it was a good…

  18. I was trying your product to see if I would buy it and I entered grad school and need photo editing software. **** NAH!!! The constant updating is insane. It's slowing my computer way down and I have to hunt through each program this ****** app installed on my computer to stop them. AND even then it doesn't stop. Why do you all think ANY program needs to be searching for an update 24 hours a day!?!?

    ****. Off.
